Consumer electronics manufacturer TCL has introduced a five-year promotional warranty program for its 2026 television lineup in the United Kingdom, giving eligible customers extended protection beyond the company’s standard manufacturer warranty.
The program combines TCL’s two-year manufacturer’s warranty with an additional three-year promotional warranty underwritten by Opia, providing a total of five years of coverage from the original purchase date.
The announcement underscores TCL’s efforts to strengthen customer confidence as the company continues to expand its presence in the UK television market.
Customers Can Register for Three Additional Years of Coverage
Owners of eligible 2026 TCL televisions can activate the complimentary three-year warranty extension by registering through TCL’s dedicated online redemption portal, which launched on July 1, 2026.
To receive the additional coverage, customers must complete their registration by June 30, 2027. TCL said all eligible submissions received before the deadline will be processed within 30 days. Complete terms and conditions are available through the company’s online warranty portal.
Current Owners Also Qualify
The promotional warranty is available not only to new buyers but also to customers who have already purchased eligible 2026 TCL television models. Existing owners can register through the online portal by providing proof of purchase to verify eligibility. Where required, purchase documentation may be updated to reflect the qualifying purchase date.
The promotion applies only to eligible televisions purchased from participating retailers in the UK during the promotional period.
Google Gemini Brings Smarter Features to TCL TVs
TCL also highlighted the recent rollout of Google Gemini across select TCL television models in Europe, including compatible 2025 models. Availability depends on device eligibility and the timing of software updates.
With Google Gemini, users can interact with their TVs using more natural voice commands to discover content, ask questions, control compatible smart home devices, play music, and receive personalized recommendations.
Google TV with Gemini also introduces more conversational search capabilities, allowing viewers to refine their searches without needing to know exact program titles or use specific commands.

According to TCL, the extended warranty program and the integration of Google Gemini are part of the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its position in the premium consumer electronics market.
