Building on the popularity of the Xever 7 lineup, the latest model debuts the company’s upgraded Swappable Battery 2.0 system, allowing users to replace batteries without interrupting active tasks.

One of the biggest improvements in the Xever 8 is the second generation of RugOne’s swappable battery technology.
Unlike the previous implementation found in the Xever 7 series—which kept the phone powered but temporarily suspended activity with a blank screen during battery replacement—the new system enables continuous operation throughout the battery swap process.
The enhanced power management architecture allows users to continue making calls, sending messages, watching videos, using navigation apps, or working without the display shutting off or applications restarting. According to RugOne, the upgrade is designed to deliver a truly seamless battery replacement experience.
To complement the new battery system, the company has also reinforced the hardware with a dual-lock mechanism. In addition to the existing battery cover latch, the Xever 8 incorporates a dedicated battery latch for improved security, helping keep the battery firmly in place even in challenging outdoor conditions.

Durability remains a central focus of the Xever 8. The smartphone carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for resistance against water, dust, and high-pressure water exposure, while also meeting MIL-STD-810H military durability standards for protection against drops, impacts, and harsh temperatures.

The Xever 8 features a SonicX Super Speaker with a 4.0cc sound cavity and dual-driver speaker configuration. The speaker system is capable of reaching a peak output of 117dB and is enhanced by the company’s SonicX AI audio processing technology, which aims to improve voice clarity, strengthen bass response, and create a more immersive listening experience.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 64-megapixel AI main camera paired with a 20-megapixel night vision camera, allowing users to capture detailed images in both daylight and low-light conditions.

The device sports a 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smoother scrolling and gaming experiences. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 processor built on a 6nm manufacturing process.

On the software front, the Xever 8 launches with Android 16 and comes with a commitment to receive three major Android operating system upgrades, extending support through Android 19.
