POCO M7 Pro 5G Delivers 5G Speed and Media Power Without Breaking the Bank

POCO M7 Pro 5G Delivers 5G Speed and Media Power Without Breaking the Bank

POCO has introduced its latest midrange contender, the POCO M7 Pro 5G, combining 5G performance, upgraded visuals, and a feature-packed camera system into a sleek, lightweight frame. It’s aimed squarely at users who want modern hardware and smooth media experiences, minus the premium price tag.

Built for Speed—and Storage

Running on the Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor, the M7 Pro 5G clocks in at over 470,000 on AnTuTu’s benchmark. Paired with up to 12GB of physical RAM and a healthy 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, this phone has the headroom to juggle gaming, streaming, and app-hopping without dragging its feet. Memory Extension adds another 12GB of virtual RAM, though it does borrow from internal storage.

A 5110mAh battery powers the device, backed by 45W fast charging. POCO claims the battery maintains over 80% of its capacity through 1600 charging cycles, thanks to health features like charging pattern analysis and aging prediction, because nobody wants their phone’s battery to act its age.

Brighter Screen, Bigger Sound

The 6.67-inch AMOLED display brings 2400×1080 resolution and a peak brightness of 2100 nits, making it POCO’s brightest M-Series screen to date. Add in a 120Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz touch sampling, and the result is smooth visuals whether you’re gaming or just doomscrolling with flair.

Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio handle audio, supported by a 300% volume boost mode, handy for movie nights, noisy commutes, or proving you definitely didn’t miss that group text.

Camera Gets a Serious Upgrade

The rear camera gets a bump to a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, paired with OIS, EIS, and a bright f/1.5 aperture for sharper, more stable shots. POCO’s 2X in-sensor zoom adds detail without the blur of basic digital zoom, and the upgraded 20MP front camera automatically switches to a wide-angle view when it senses more people, no nobody’s left out of the group selfie.

Image processing runs through the POCO Imaging Engine, which includes features like Night Mode, AI Bokeh, and AI Sky, all backed by on-device AI tools.

Design That’s Slim and Splash-Resistant

At just 190g and under 76mm wide, the M7 Pro 5G is easy to handle, and its curved design adds a polished look. Available in Green, Silver, and Purple, the phone uses a textured back and 3D curved camera module to bring some visual character. An IP64 rating adds light protection against dust and water, not quite submarine-ready, but fine for everyday mishaps.

It ships with the Google Gemini app pre-installed, giving users access to the Gemini AI assistant for writing, organizing, and productivity tasks, assuming it hasn’t already written your next to-do list.

Availability

The POCO M7 Pro 5G will come in two configurations (8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB) with color and regional availability varying by market. For more information, check mi.com.

The M7 Pro 5G delivers key upgrades in display, battery, and imaging without inflating the price tag, making it an appealing pick for anyone hunting for strong performance in a sleek package.
