This latest release introduces what Narwal calls its DualFlow Tangle-Free System, along with MopExtend and EdgeSwing technology aimed at improving edge-to-edge coverage.
The new Freo Z10 enters the scene with upgrades focused on making robot vacuums less needy. The redesigned side brush system uses a movable arm to actively loosen hair and debris before it can wrap around the bristles. Combined with a single-arm roller brush, the setup creates a tangle-resistant cleaning duo, a welcome feature for households with pets or long-haired humans.
Precision Cleaning Meets Low-Maintenance Design
To reach into corners and along wall edges, the Z10 deploys a retractable mop that extends and presses down with 8 newtons of force, enough to scrub baseboards and kitchen toe-kicks with confidence. Narwal’s EdgeSwing feature then maneuvers the bot backward while extended, squeezing into areas where most round robots wave the white flag.
Under the hood, the Freo Z10 offers 15,000Pa of suction power, enough to slurp up fine dust and embedded dirt in one pass. A Tri-Laser navigation system helps it steer within 5mm of obstacles and recognize hazards as small as 1cm, even in the dark. It also manages this without a camera, sidestepping privacy concerns.
Narwal includes a hands-free base station that compresses debris into a 2.5-liter bag, needing attention only two to three times per year. Adaptive AI automatically adjusts mop temperature up to 167°F depending on the mess, smart enough to sanitize without overkill.
