Berlin is no stranger to flashy tech debuts, but this year’s IFA spotlight includes something new for anyone who’s ever fished around a bag for their missing earbuds. Artronic Designs has officially introduced Komutr, the world’s first MagSafe earbuds, complete with a sleek snap-on charging case that sticks directly to the back of your phone or compatible accessories.
A Fresh Take on Wireless Audio
Komutr first turned heads at CES earlier this year, drawing coverage from TechCrunch, Daily Mail, Gear Patrol, and Fox News. Now making its European debut at IFA 2025, the earbuds promise both style and practicality. The case measures just 12 mm thin, and each bud weighs only 4.8 grams, making them the slimmest MagSafe earbuds on the market.

While you might expect that these are exclusively designed for iPhone users, that’s not the case. Indeed, as we’ve recently learned, Google’s new Pixelsnap feature means it will work just as well for the Pixel 10 series of phones. Moreover, it will work with a lot of other accessories that come with a magnetic or adhesive ring on the back.
Early Backers Get Extras
Komutr is available for pre-order at €89 (down from the €135 retail price) and includes a free MagSafe wireless charger for early adopters. Shipping is scheduled to begin in October 2025.
