It’s CES which means now is the time to show off all your latest and greatest products with the world. Which means plenty of audio gear, and when you’re talking audio and tech you know JBL is going to have something new to delight your ears.

Headphones

First up we have the new headphones and JBL is going big with truly wireless headphones in 2019 offering up 4 new models. They come in different styles and prices ranging from $99 to $169 so there will be a pair to suit anyone.

JBL TUNE120TWS

The JBL TUNE12TWS offers a stylish compact design, JBL pure bass sound, and comes in 6 different colors. The 12-hour charging case gives it a combined 16 hours of playback time with 1 hour of use from just 15 minutes of charging. Expect to see them in Spring of 2019 for $99.95.

JBL Reflect Flow

The JBL Reflect Flow are going to be great for those of you who love to workout with friends or worry about your surroundings while running. Thanks to the use of JBL’s TalkThru technology you’ll be able to amplify voices and lower the music without taking off your headphones. While the Ambient Aware mode is for when you want to be able to hear your surroundings when listening to music.

The JBL Reflect Flow also come with JBL’s signature sound and IPX7 waterproofing. Combine that with a 20-hour charging case for a total of 30 hours of playback time, and you have quite a nice pair of truly wireless headphones for your workouts. The JBL Reflect Flow will be available starting this Summer in 4 colors for $149.95.

JBL Endurance Peak

If you’re looking to run, jump, swim, or dive then this truly wireless outdoor pair of headphones is for you. The JBL Endurance Peak come with JBL’s signature sound, touch controls, IPX7 waterproofing, and a combined 28 hours of playback time with a rugged case. They are available right now for $119.95 and come in 3 different color options.

UA True Wireless Flash

The UA True Wireless Flash headphones are engineered by JBL using JBL Charged Sound with 5.8 diameter dynamic drivers. They also feature TalkThru technology to amplify voices allowing you to talk with friends without taking out the headphones. While Ambient Aware mode lets you hear your surroundings when listening to music during your work out.

The UA True Wireless Flash come in black and are also UA Storm Proof sweat and waterproof with an IPX7 rating. They offer up to 5 hours playback time along with a 20-hour charging case. You can pick the UA True Wireless Flash headphones up now for $169.96 from either JBL.com or UnderArmour.com.

JBL Live Series

If you’re looking for a pair of over ear or on-ear headphones with some smarts then the JBL Live series has you covered. Starting at an affordable $99.95 the JBL Live 400BT on-ear headphones come with support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. With a tap on the earcup, you can ask for the weather, traffic, start playing your favorite song, and more.

With a tap of a button, you can use JBL’s TalkThru technology lowering the music and amplifying voices making it easier to talk with friends without removing the headphones. As well as use Ambient Aware mode allowing you to hear your surroundings on a busy street while still enjoying your music.

If you prefer over the ear headphones, then you’ll be happy to know that the JBL Live 500BT offers all these same great features with an additional 4 hours of listening time for only $149.95.

The JBL Live 650BTNC includes support for Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and active noise cancellation. Unfortunately, it loses the ability for TalkThru or Ambient Aware while increasing the price to $199.95. All of these will be available in Spring 2019 in a variety of colors from JBL.com.

Bluetooth Speakers

JBL Flip 5

JBL has announced its follow up to the JBL Flip 4, one of my favorite portable speakers. The aptly named JBL Flip 5 is a durable compact Bluetooth speaker with an IPX7 waterproof rating.

It can keep the party going for up to 12 hours using a 4800mAh battery and now uses USB-C for charging. No longer will you have to carry an extra micro USB cable just to charge your speaker. The JBL Flip 5 will be available in Spring of 2019 in 11 different colors for $99.95

JBL PartyBox

The JBL PartyBox speakers stand out in a crowd not only for the built-in lights but also for the extra inputs they include. The JBL PartyBox speakers include a mic and guitar input making them perfect for musicians and karaoke kings and queens.

When you’re putting on a live show you’re going to need lighting and thankfully the PartyBox has three different lighting modes to set the mood. You also have the option to play music through Bluetooth or a USB drive in case you don’t play any instruments.

If you want to get your hands on this party in a box then you’re in luck because the JBL PartyBox 200, 300, and 1000 are already available for purchase. Although, they don’t come cheap starting at $349.95 for the PartyBox 200, $449.95 for the PartyBox 300, and $999.95 for the PartyBox 1000.

While $1000 is a big jump for the PartyBox 1000 it also comes with enhanced features such as bigger, louder, and better sound, a full lighting control panel, karaoke effects, and a DJ Launchpad. All PartyBox speakers also support true stereo sound and can be connected using either Bluetooth or RCA connectors.
