AI Mode then scours various reservation platforms and websites to present a curated list of options, complete with real-time availability. Users can seamlessly proceed to the booking page with a single click.
The technology behind this innovation involves a combination of Project Mariner’s live web browsing capabilities, direct partner integrations, and the powerful synergy of Google’s Knowledge Graph and Maps. In collaboration with partners like OpenTable, Resy, Tock, and Ticketmaster, Google is ensuring users can take action on the web with minimal hassle.
Initially, these capabilities are available to Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. through the “Agentic capabilities in AI Mode” experiment in Labs.
