Epson Expands EcoTank Line With Three New Cartridge-Free Printers

Epson has introduced three new models in its seventh-generation EcoTank cartridge-free Supertank printer lineup, giving families, students, crafters, and home offices a fresh set of lower-cost printing options.

The new EcoTank ET-1910, EcoTank ET-2900, and EcoTank ET-4903 join Epson’s broader EcoTank portfolio with a focus on accessible pricing, easy refills, and long-term savings. The ET-1910 carries the lowest starting price Epson has offered yet for one of its Supertank models, with an MSRP of $159.99.

The timing makes sense. Epson points to growing interest in analog hobbies such as journaling, scrapbooking, and crafting, where printed photos, templates, labels, and physical media still have a real place. The phone may hold the camera roll, but sometimes the fridge, planner, scrapbook, or craft table wants a hard copy.

Built for Lower-Cost Everyday Printing

All three new Epson EcoTank printers use refillable ink tanks instead of traditional cartridges. According to Epson, each model includes enough ink in the box to last up to three years, based on average usage. Epson says users can save up to 90 percent with replacement ink bottles compared with ink cartridges.

The printers use Epson’s Heat-Free technology, which allows printing with zero warmup time. Each model supports built-in USB and Wi-Fi connectivity, along with the Epson Smart Panel app for printing from compatible mobile devices.

Epson has designed the refill system around its EcoFit bottles, which are uniquely keyed to help prevent filling the wrong tank. That small touch matters for households where the printer might be shared by several people, including the family member who treats setup instructions like optional side quests.

EcoTank ET-1910, ET-2900, and ET-4903 Features

The EcoTank ET-1910 is the entry model in the group and supports wireless printing. It includes a 100-sheet paper tray, print speeds rated at 11 black ISO ppm and 6 color ISO ppm, and print resolution up to 5760 x 1440 dpi.

EcoTank ET-2900

The EcoTank ET-2900 adds copying and scanning, making it better suited for homes that need a more complete all-in-one printer. It includes a high-resolution flatbed scanner and a 1.44-inch color display.

The EcoTank ET-4903 builds on that formula with copying, scanning, and fax support. It adds an automatic document feeder, which should be useful for households or small work areas that regularly scan or copy multi-page documents.

All three models are rated for up to 3,600 black pages and 6,500 color pages with the included ink, and Epson notes that each printer is engineered for professional-grade reliability with a robust duty cycle.

Designed for Creative Projects and Home Use

Epson is positioning the new EcoTank models around both practical and creative use cases. That includes everyday documents, school projects, craft templates, scrapbook pages, photos, and other printed materials that help turn digital ideas into physical projects.

Kennedy Rose, founder of Cozy K, used the EcoTank ET-1910 for crafting and hobby projects, noting that it produced colorful photos, clear text, and handled different paper types well. She called out the visible ink levels as a practical perk, since nobody wants a printer to tap out halfway through a scrapbook page.

Pricing and Availability

The Epson EcoTank ET-1910 is available now with an MSRP of $159.99. The EcoTank ET-2900 is available now with an MSRP of $239.99. Both models are sold through the Epson store and retailers nationwide, including Office Depot, Staples, Best Buy, and others.

The Epson EcoTank ET-4903 is available now with an MSRP of $299.99 through the Epson store and select retailers, including Amazon and Walmart.
