Cricket Wireless announced the Samsung Vitality, the first Muve Music-enabled Android smartphone, available the following week for $199.99 after a $20 instant rebate. The Muve Music Android plan was $65 per month and included full-song downloads, ringtones, ringback tones, nationwide calling, text, picture and video messaging, email, and data backup.
The Vitality ran Android 2.3 Gingerbread on an 800MHz processor, with a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3.2-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and a preloaded Muve Music 4GB SanDisk card holding up to 3,000 songs (with 1GB set aside for other content). An 8GB Muve Music card holding up to 6,000 songs was available separately.
