Cricket Communications announced the Samsung Transfix, available immediately for $179.99. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread phone featured an 800MHz processor, a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 3.2-megapixel camera with camcorder, a full sliding QWERTY keyboard, and a microSD slot expandable to 32GB. It joined the Samsung Vitality and Huawei Ascend II in Cricket’s growing Android lineup.
