Creative XF1 Desktop Speakers Pair 72W Output With Hi-Res Audio and Bluetooth 6.0

Creative Technology has introduced the Creative XF1, a compact 2.0 desktop speaker system built for music, movies, gaming, content creation, and everyday computer audio. The new speakers deliver 72W RMS of total output, dual Hi-Res Audio certification, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, and detailed sound controls through the Creative Nexus app.

The Creative XF1 is priced at $179.99 in the United States and £139.99 in the United Kingdom. It is available beginning August 6, 2026, through Creative’s regional online stores and authorized retailers.

Bi-Amplified Sound for Desktop Listening

The Creative XF1 uses a fully active, two-way speaker design with separate amplification for its woofers and tweeters. Each speaker contains a 3-inch woofer and a 0.75-inch tweeter, with the pair delivering 52W RMS through the woofers and 20W RMS through the tweeters.

A modern workspace featuring a laptop displaying a video, two black speakers, and a smartphone on a dock showcasing an app interface, all on a wooden desk with a water glass and a small plant.

Creative says the dedicated amplification and digital signal processing help reduce distortion and maintain a consistent tonal balance across different volume levels. The speakers cover a stated frequency range of 55Hz to 40kHz, giving them enough reach for dialogue, game effects, music, and other desktop listening duties.

The custom woofers were developed using Finite Element Analysis, an engineering process used to study how components respond under different physical conditions. In practical terms, Creative designed them to provide stronger output and lower distortion than smaller drivers often found in compact computer speakers.

Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C, and Expandable Bass

The XF1 supports several wired and wireless sources. Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity includes SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs, with LDAC providing the system’s Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification when paired with compatible devices.

A USB-C audio connection supports playback at up to 24-bit/96kHz. Users can connect other equipment through the 3.5mm auxiliary input, including computers, monitors, media players, and other analog audio sources.

Creative has included a dedicated subwoofer output with automatic mode switching. This allows buyers to begin with the XF1 as a straightforward stereo setup and later add a powered subwoofer for deeper bass. It is a sensible expansion option for anyone who wants more low-end weight without replacing the entire system.

App-Based EQ and a Compact Design

The Creative Nexus app provides more than 120 preset equalizer profiles created by the company’s audio team. These cover over 20 music categories and close to 100 games, giving users a quick way to adjust the speakers without manually tuning every frequency band.

Those who prefer greater control can use the app’s 10-band parametric equalizer and preset-management tools. Profiles can be configured for different tasks, such as a neutral response for audio work, a fuller presentation for movies, or a stronger bass response for games.

The XF1 is available in black or white. Each speaker measures 6.10 x 3.93 x 7.52 inches, making the pair compact enough to sit beside most monitors without turning the desk into a small recording studio. Detachable cork stands angle the speakers toward the listener and add a warmer visual touch than the usual slab of molded plastic.

More details and purchasing information are available through Creative’s official US and UK websites.
