Ascentiz has released its H Series wearable exoskeletons for direct purchase, bringing hip-assisted mobility technology to hikers, runners, cyclists, travelers, and people who want extra support during everyday movement.
The lineup includes the Ascentiz H Pro and H Ultra, priced at $1,499 and $1,999, respectively. Both models are available through the company’s online store.
Rather than moving the wearer’s legs for them, the H Series responds to gait and movement intent. The system provides assistance during key parts of each step, including lifting the leg forward and pushing away from the ground. Ascentiz says this can reduce the effort required for walking by up to 35%.
The system is designed for walking, hiking, running, cycling, climbing stairs, and navigating cities. It is not a medical device and is not intended for diagnosis or treatment.
A Modular Approach To Wearable Assistance
The H Series is built around Ascentiz’s Exo-Belt, which serves as a shared base for interchangeable assistance modules.
The current H module focuses on hip propulsion and responsive movement support. A separate K module is now in mass production and is intended to provide sustained knee support and manage impact during downhill movement.
This modular format gives Ascentiz room to expand the system without requiring users to replace the entire platform. In theory, owners could add new hardware modules or software functions as their activities and needs change. It is a more flexible approach than treating an exoskeleton as a single-purpose piece of equipment, though the long-term value will depend on the modules Ascentiz releases.
The company’s BodyOS platform is intended to support new hardware, software features, and applications created by third-party developers. The H Ultra includes an expanded open-source SDK with access to the system’s software tools and hardware interfaces.
H Pro And H Ultra Target Different Users
The Ascentiz H Pro is aimed at everyday mobility, fitness, and lighter outdoor activities. It provides up to 25 kilometers, or roughly 15.5 miles, of assisted range and places greater focus on portability.
The H Ultra is designed for longer and more demanding outings. It uses carbon fiber and a titanium-alloy Exo-Belt, offers greater power output, and includes expanded motion recognition. A dual-battery setup increases its assisted range to 50 kilometers, or about 31 miles.
Both models feature quiet operation, compact construction, and an IP54 rating for protection against dust and splashing water. That should make them suitable for typical outdoor use, though IP54 does not mean they are waterproof.
Pricing, Availability, And IFA Demonstrations
The Ascentiz H Pro carries a suggested retail price of $1,499. The H Ultra is priced at $1,999. Final pricing, promotions, and availability may differ by market and purchasing period.
Ascentiz will present the H Series at IFA Berlin 2026, starting September 4. Attendees can find the company in Hall 12, Booth 109, where it plans to offer hands-on demonstrations of both models.
