AT&T Launches Unlimited Level Up Plan: A Gateway to Device Financing and Postpaid Services

AT&T has introduced its Unlimited Level Up plan, a prepaid offering designed to provide customers with an affordable and straightforward pathway to postpaid benefits, including device financing options. This new plan is ideal for those seeking access to the latest smartphones without the need for a full credit check or upfront costs.

This new plan offers access to the latest smartphones with a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. Customers who have made on-time payments for the prior six months on the Level Up plan can qualify for $0 down and interest-free financing on a new phone, regardless of the results of the soft credit inquiry.

Key Details of the Unlimited Level Up Plan

The Unlimited Level Up plan is priced at $50.99 per month with AutoPay (or $60.99 without AutoPay) and includes:

  • 30GB of High-Speed Data: Stay connected with high-speed internet access. After exceeding the 30GB data allowance, speeds will be reduced to a maximum of 1.5Mbps.
  • Unlimited Talk and Text: Enjoy unlimited calls and messaging within the United States.
  • International Texting: Send unlimited texts from the U.S. to over 230 countries, expanding your global reach.
  • Mobile Security: Benefit from AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security, offering protection against mobile threats.

Transitioning to Postpaid Services

The standout feature of this plan is its ability to help customers transition to a postpaid AT&T plan after six consecutive on-time payments. This milestone unlocks access to AT&T’s device financing options, including $0 down and interest-free installment plans for the latest smartphones.

Customers who meet the eligibility requirements can seamlessly move to postpaid plans like AT&T’s Value Plus or Unlimited Your Way, enhancing their connectivity experience while gaining more flexibility and device options.

Who Can Benefit From the Unlimited Level Up Plan?

This plan is tailored for individuals who:

  • Want access to the latest smartphones but face barriers like a full credit check or upfront costs.
  • Prefer the flexibility of prepaid plans while working toward postpaid benefits.
  • Are looking for a straightforward way to establish consistent payment history with AT&T.

How It Works

To qualify for the postpaid transition, customers must make six consecutive on-time monthly payments on the Unlimited Level Up plan. Missing a payment will reset the eligibility timeline, requiring another six consecutive on-time payments to qualify. Once eligible, transitioning to a postpaid plan can be done at an AT&T retail store or by contacting AT&T customer service.

Why Choose the Unlimited Level Up Plan?

This new offering underscores AT&T’s commitment to delivering value-driven plans that cater to diverse customer needs. Whether you’re a student, a young professional, or simply seeking more affordable access to premium devices, the Unlimited Level Up plan bridges the gap between prepaid and postpaid services.

For more details or to sign up for the Unlimited Level Up plan, visit the AT&T website or head to your nearest AT&T store.
