Aer, a company recognized for crafting travel essentials that blend simplicity, utility, and durability, has unveiled its new Ultra Collection in honor of its 10th anniversary. This limited edition series showcases Aer’s most iconic styles, enhanced with Challenge Ultra fabrics and a nod to their roots with a distinctive green liner.
The Ultra Collection brings a fresh twist to Aer’s signature designs using Challenge Ultra composite fabrics, engineered by Challenge Sailcloth. This material boasts an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, incorporating UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) that is not only water-resistant but also 15 times stronger than steel. Each piece in the collection features a green liner as a tribute to Aer’s original brand color, symbolizing a decade-long journey of innovation and excellence.
Aer began its story in 2014 with a Kickstarter campaign that successfully launched a hybrid gym/work backpack. Since then, the brand has expanded its offerings to cover a wide range of travel needs, from bags and accessories for gym, work, commute, and travel, to their latest venture into luggage.

The Ultra Collection Lineup:
- Duffel Pack 3 Ultra ($299): This hybrid backpack goes easily from the gym to the office. It’s got a roomy front-load main compartment, a vented shoe compartment, and a padded laptop pocket, all fitting into a 21.4L capacity that neatly organizes workout gear and work essentials.
- Travel Pack 3 Ultra ($299): This sleek carry-on backpack empowers travelers to skip baggage carousels and keep moving effortlessly. It boasts a discreet smart tracker pocket, lockable zippers, a padded laptop pocket, luggage handle pass-through, and convenient quick-access top and side pockets for small valuables.
- Travel Pack 3 Small Ultra ($279): A more compact 28L version of the Travel Pack 3, ideal for those who pack light yet seek the same great features.
- City Pack Pro Ultra ($259): Designed for everyday city use, this backpack offers a lay-flat main compartment, a 16″ laptop pocket, multiple quick-access pockets, and a contoured back panel. Additional features include an exterior water bottle pocket and a luggage handle pass-through for convenient travel.
