Anker SOLIX F3000 Power Station Review

A Portable Juggernaut of Backup Power

For those that may not know, Anker has been building an impressive lineup of oversized power banks meant to offer backup solutions for camping, RV enthusiasts, or even a full-home emergency power supply. The SOLIX brand is becoming an industry leader in the space from Anker. The company continues to add devices to this new segment and also continues to push the boundaries of what these power stations are capable.

That brings us to this review to the new Anker SOLIX F3000 Power Station. I’ve spent just over two months with this unit, and it’s a verified powerhouse.

Design

This new power station from Anker is massive. You’re essentially carrying a large cooler packed with battery tech. And I don’t mean that in a bad way. All these ports and batteries allow for the SOLIX F3000 to extend power to any situation you may need.

There’s a large LED screen at the top portion of the front of the F3000. This shows inputs and outputs in use at any given time. This glanceable display makes it easy to see the wattage, ports being used, and even estimated remaining runtime. To the right of this display is a dedicated power button for the entire power bank and another for the LED ambient light bar.

Below the Anker SOLIX F3000 screen is all the action. Here you’ll find the port arrays separated in sections. The first is the main 120v output port for all your major outputs. Next to this is four port AC household port selection. This grouping also has a main board overload protection button that functions much like a breaker in your home’s electrical box.

The next two section house the car socket ports and USB options. The USB two-way ports include two USB-A and two more USB-C inputs/outputs. Each power section has its own dedicated power buttons as well. That makes if very easy to only have the AC power on while the USBs are dormant, not siphoning away any precious power.

Power your adventures and emergencies with confidence. The Anker SOLIX F3000 delivers massive 3072Wh capacity and versatile outlets to keep all your essentials running, from campground comforts to construction tools, with flexible charging options including solar.

Daily Usage

The Anker SOLIX F3000 is a monster power station. I’ve had a tough time truly running it through the paces do to the voltage it packs in an objectively small package. I did have unique situations arise recently that really allowed me to see it excel.

First, was a recent camping trip. We spend four days tent-camping at a site, and the SOLIX F3000 was ready to keep us with some modern amenities. We powered a griddle, coffee maker, hair dryer, and even an air fryer a friend brought over the long weekend. It also serves as our main power source for our tent lights, charging phones, and running a large fan all night while we slept.

The next situation I had was my brother was doing some construction around his farm that was going to be several miles from a power source. I challenged that instead of taking a traditional gas generator converter, let’s take the Anker SOLIX F3000. And it didn’t disappoint.

Over a few days, we cut lumber with several different tool variations. This included table, skill, and miter chop saws. We ran sanders, jigsaws, and even a 120V hammer drill as well. The SOLIX never blinked and made quick work for our portable power grid to get the jobs done.

Even with all this action, I still feel like I’m selling the Anker SOLIX F3000 short with my usage. This is a powerhouse that can fuel an entire camper or even your home temporarily. Add in all the expansion and recharging solutions in the next portion of this review, and you can see how this power station is top-notch.

Battery Life and Expansion

The Anker SOLIX F3000 is fueled by a 3072Wh battery bank. This makes it massive in today’s market and capable of last several hours even under the most demanding jobs as a full-fledged generator. This makes things like making sure your fridge can run up to 42 hours during blackouts a reality.

You can even daisy-chain two of the F3000 stations in tandem for 240V of output for larger equipment like your clothes dryer. It can be paired with addition power banks for longer endurance using Anker superb connection system, or you can pair it with a generator to pass through charge the SOLIX F3000 while it does on-demand power delivery to save fuel.

A unique option I love Anker including this year is EV car power. With the appropriate cable from Anker, you can use the F3000 to restore your care to full power. This is a neat option for someone that might have road trip anxiety or even live in an apartment where charging stations aren’t readily available.

Recharge the actual unit is just as flexible. You have multiple ways to charge over 120V, up to 2,400 Watts via solar panels, and technically, you can trickle charger over USB-C in a pinch. Pretty much any available option to charge is an option to refuel the power station.

Final Thoughts

Anker’s heritage of power solutions is on full display with the Anker SOLIX F3000. From pure power and scale, to flexibility of both inputs and outputs, I can’t think of a more robust power station. No matter your usage case, the Anker SOLIX F3000 should be able to keep your lights, on, appliances humming, and all things charging.

Not convinced, how about at the time of this review the SOLIX F3000 is also $900 off the full retail pricing? That’s right, the normal $2600 is marked down to just $1700. While neither is an impulse purchase, if you are in the market for this type of unit, I’d challenge you to find a better solution. Snag yours from our links below.
