The top-mounted LiDAR sensor is tucked neatly-ish into the design and doesn’t get in the way; the top cover lifts off cleanly to access the dustbin.

Underneath, the dual main brushes (DuoSpiral) and the CornerRover side arm do a great job managing hair and edge debris. The main rollers are designed to resist tangles, which really helps if you’ve got long-haired pets (or people) in the household.

It’s not perfect, and finding specific settings like mop schedule can feel buried, but overall, it’s one of the better robot vacuum apps out there.

Speaking of mopping, one disappointment I had is the lack of a “mop-only” option. You can run vacuum-only or vacuum-and-mop, but if you prefer to vacuum the whole house and then send it out again to mop, you’ll need to do a little workaround. Hopefully, that gets addressed in a future update.

Adding a few no-go zones in the app takes care of most issues. Once the robot gets used to your home, it generally improves over time. Meanwhile, you’ll also get to understand what needs to be picked up or tidied before running it.

That is, of course, provided you don’t task it with picking up every scrap of toy fabric or chewed-up “baby” pieces. The water tanks usually last through 3-4 full cleaning cycles in a medium-size home. The mop drying feature runs a quiet fan for a few hours and does a good job keeping things odor-free.

Compared to the competition, it holds up well. Other brands might have slightly better navigation or quieter docks, but none offer the same mop quality at this price point. If hard floors are your priority, the E25 should be on your short list of candidates. Now, if only we could have it run a strictly mopping cycle…
