Lenovo Brings New Legion Go, Pro Laptops, and AI Tablets to IFA 2025

0

Lenovo arrived in Berlin with a packed showcase at its Innovation World event, revealing a mix of gaming systems, OLED monitors, software updates, and AI-driven tablets. The updates stretch across the Legion, LOQ, Yoga, and Idea Tab families, delivering new options for gamers, creators, and everyday users.

Legion Go (8.8”, 2) Handheld

After debuting as a prototype at CES earlier this year, the second-generation Legion Go is ready for a worldwide release. The Windows 11 gaming handheld centers on an 8.8-inch WUXGA OLED display with a 144Hz variable refresh rate and HDR TrueBlack 1000 support.

Paired with up to an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, 32GB of memory, and 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, the device is built for modern AAA titles as well as indie and retro libraries. Storage can be further expanded through a microSD slot, while a 74Whr battery, more than 50% larger than the first-gen model, keeps play sessions going longer.

The redesigned detachable TrueStrike controllers feature hall effect joysticks, a large pivot D-pad, and three programmable buttons. They continue to offer FPS mode, turning the right controller into a vertical mouse, and are backwards compatible with the original Legion Go. A built-in kickstand, dual USB4 ports, and a fingerprint reader in the power button round out the refinements.

Legion Pro Monitors and Glasses 2

Lenovo’s Legion Pro monitor lineup gains three OLED additions: the 32UD-10, 27UD-10, and 27Q-10. Designed for both fidelity and speed, they boast refresh rates up to 280Hz, response times as fast as 0.03ms, and wide color coverage with Dolby Vision and HDR certifications. A single-cable USB-C setup and ergonomic stands make them easier to integrate into different gaming spaces.

Legion Glasses 2 owners can look forward to a free software update that brings 3D Mode to more than 20 titles at launch. The feature, delivered via Legion Space, gives supported 2D games added depth when paired with Legion laptops or the new Legion Go handheld.

Legion Pro 7 and LOQ Tower

The Legion Pro 7 laptop now ships with AMD Ryzen 9000 HX series processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics. A 16-inch OLED panel running at 240Hz, up to 32GB of DDR5 memory, and Lenovo’s Coldfront: Vapor cooling system allow it to push high-performance gaming while staying thermally balanced.

Meanwhile, the LOQ brand expands into desktop territory with its first 26-liter tower, the LOQ Tower 26ADR10. Configurations scale up to AMD Ryzen 8000 CPUs, NVIDIA 50-series GPUs, 64GB of RAM, and 4TB of storage. The chassis includes customizable ARGB lighting and room for additional expansion, with a transparent side panel showing off the internals.

Yoga Tab and Idea Tab Plus

For creatives and students, Lenovo is rolling out the Yoga Tab and Idea Tab Plus. The Yoga Tab, built on Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, features AI-driven utilities such as Smart AI Input for text generation and translation, AI Live Transcript for instant voice-to-text, and Smart Capture for sketch-to-image workflows.

Battery life reaches up to 12 hours of streaming, and preloaded apps like Adobe Creative Suite add to its appeal.

Slim at 6.29mm and weighing just over half a kilogram, it comes in three color finishes: Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Sand Rose. TECNO Showcases Slim Smartphone, AI-Powered Laptops, and Expanding AIoT Ecosystem

0

TECNO used its stage at IFA ShowStoppers 2025 in Berlin to spotlight a lineup that blends sleek hardware with AI-driven features. The brand officially introduced its ultra-thin TECNO Slim smartphone, expanded its AIoT product family, and confirmed laptop availability in more European markets, including Spain and France.

TECNO Slim: Thin but Tough

The spotlight product, TECNO Slim, arrives as the world’s slimmest 3D-curved smartphone, measuring just 5.93mm for the 4G version and 5.95mm for 5G. The device was first shown earlier this year at Mobile World Congress as a concept, where it earned recognition as one of our Best of MWC. Its transition from concept to market-ready product underscores TECNO’s ability to push design boundaries without cutting corners on functionality.

Despite its slender frame, Slim packs a 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging, a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 7i, and military-grade shock resistance. On the software side, built-in AI features like Circle to Search, AI writing tools, and real-time translation give it everyday practicality. It’s not just about being thin. It’s about being thin and useful.

MEGABOOK S14: Lightest 14-inch OLED AI Laptop

Paired with the Slim is the MEGABOOK S14 laptop, weighing only 899 grams. Offered with Snapdragon X Elite or Intel Core Ultra 9 processors, the notebook is built for on-device AI, enabling tools such as AI Meeting Assistant, AI-powered presentation building, and AI Gallery organization. TECNO positions it as a productivity companion that balances performance with extreme portability—something road warriors and backpack minimalists will likely appreciate.

Laptops Gain Ground in Spain and France

TECNO also confirmed that its laptop division is gaining traction in Europe. In Spain, the MEGABOOK K15S, K16S, and MEGA MINI G1 gaming PC have already entered the market, drawing positive reviews from leading local tech outlets. Reviewers praised the K16S AMD edition for its strong value and the K15S for its premium build and portability. Partnerships with distributor MCR and retailers like MediaMarkt and Carrefour have expanded visibility, with the MEGABOOK S14 set to reach select European markets in Q4 2025.

MEGAPAD Pro and Expanding AIoT Portfolio

Joining the showcase is the MEGAPAD Pro, a 12-inch “Essential AI Tablet” featuring a 2K display, 90Hz refresh rate, Dolby sound, and a 10,000mAh battery lasting up to eight hours. Targeted at students, families, and light business professionals, it supports AI-driven features such as interactive reading, instant summaries, and a dedicated AI key for fast voice assistant access.

TECNO rounded out the announcements with updates to its AIoT lineup, including the TRUE 2 AI TWS earbuds, the Watch GT AI smartwatch, and other connected devices. The combined portfolio illustrates TECNO’s strategy of pairing stylish design with AI-powered convenience to create a cohesive, connected digital lifestyle.

Laifen Brings New Electric Razors and More to IFA 2025

0

Lifestyle-tech brand Laifen is making its way back to Berlin for IFA 2025, and this year it’s bringing more than just hot air. The company is stepping into a brand-new category with the debut of its first electric razors, alongside updated hair dryers and the next generation of its Wave electric toothbrush.

A New Category for Laifen

Laifen has built its name around powerful hair dryers and sleek toothbrushes, but razors are uncharted territory. The brand is introducing two models: the Laifen P3 Pro 3-Blade Electric Shaver and the Laifen T1 Pro 1-Blade Electric Shaver. Both feature high-speed linear motors, premium construction, and some distinctive design touches aimed at separating them from the pack.

A hand holding the Laifen P3 Pro electric shaver, showcasing its sleek design and motor details.
P3 Pro

The Laifen P3 Pro ($169) is a three-blade shaver powered by what the company calls the world’s first dual-drive linear motor system. It uses a precision reciprocating mechanism to deliver strong yet low-vibration performance. The shaver pairs an ultra-thin 0.055mm foil with two shaver blades and one trimmer blade, capped by a domed cutter head for smooth coverage across different beard types.

Its metal-and-glass design includes a motor window for a peek at the tech in motion, while the detachable magnetic head makes cleanup less of a chore. Battery life runs about 100 minutes, and a one-minute quick charge provides enough power for an emergency shave.

The Laifen T1 Pro ($149) takes a minimalist approach, carved from a single block of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. Compact and lightweight at just 93 grams, it houses a 12,000 RPM motor in a slim 12mm body.

Like its sibling, it uses an ultra-thin foil and domed blade head, but trims down to a single blade. The design mimics the grip and feel of a manual razor, giving it an ergonomic T-shaped profile. With a 120-minute battery life and the same one-minute quick charge trick, good for about eight minutes of shaving, the T1 Pro is built for portability and practicality.

Laifen’s new electric razors mark an expansion of its lifestyle-tech portfolio, adding to its growing lineup of grooming and personal care products.

Aiper Brings AI Smarts to the Backyard at IFA 2025

0

Aiper, best known for its cordless robotic pool cleaners, is taking its next big leap at IFA Berlin 2025 with the debut of the Scuba V3, its first AI-powered pool cleaner. The company describes it as the world’s lightest vision-cognitive robotic pool cleaner, weighing just 16.5 pounds, roughly the size of a chunky house cat, though far less likely to nap in the sun instead of working.

Smarter Cleaning Through AI Vision

The Scuba V3 is built around an AI Vision Cleaning system that uses a camera and object recognition to detect and remove over 20 types of debris, ranging from fine sand to fallen sticks. Its grid-pattern navigation combines with proactive vision to cover the entire pool floor while intelligently avoiding common underwater obstacles like drains, ladders, and even floating pool toys.

Aiper has been refining the system with over two years of AI development and testing in markets across the U.S., Europe, and Australia. The result is a device that doesn’t just vacuum randomly. No, it moves with intent.

AI Patrol Mode and Energy Efficiency

The cleaner introduces AI Patrol Cleaning, a scheduled mode that scans for debris hotspots and only targets the zones that need attention. According to Aiper, this selective approach reduces runtime and energy use by up to 40 percent while keeping pools looking freshly skimmed. The company frames this as part of its broader sustainability efforts in pool technology.

Features Built for Ease of Use

Handling the Scuba V3 is designed to be straightforward. Its quick-drain body and one-click activation keep setup simple, while JetAssist and WaveLine technology provide consistent waterline cleaning. The MicroMesh filtration system captures ultra-fine debris for crystal-clear results.

The cleaner charges wirelessly via a dock and connects to Aiper’s mobile app for diagnostics, auto-calibration, and over-the-air updates.

Price, Availability, and Where to See It

The Scuba V3 will retail for $1,199 when it launches in early 2026. Visitors to IFA can get an early look at Aiper’s booth with a launch event scheduled for September 5. More details about the Scuba V3 and Aiper’s other smart yard products can be found on the official website.

viaim Debuts OpenNote Earbuds at IFA 2025

0

Viaim used its stage presence at IFA 2025 in Berlin to introduce the OpenNote, a new set of AI-powered lifestyle earbuds designed to bridge productivity and leisure. Priced at $219, the over-the-ear earbuds blend premium styling, long-wear comfort, and a toolkit of AI features for users who want more than just music playback.

AI Meets Everyday Audio

Positioned as part of viaim’s broader AI productivity portfolio, OpenNote builds on the brand’s earlier RecDot earphones and NoteKit recorder. While those devices focused heavily on business settings, OpenNote leans toward balance, capturing office conversations, tracking workouts, or streaming a podcast on the commute.

The earbuds feature FlashRecord, which lets users capture audio instantly without an app or Bluetooth setup. Three recording modes cover live conversations within a 7-meter range, phone or online calls via Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, and Webex, and audio from conferences, podcasts, and online courses.

Once captured, the onboard AI transcribes recordings in real time, automatically generating summaries and extracting to-do lists. The system supports 21 languages, making it practical for both global teams and polyglot travelers.

A collection of Viaim's OpenNote AI-powered lifestyle earbuds displayed alongside their charging case, featuring a modern design in white, black, and brown colors.

Built for Long Days and Clear Sound

Comfort is supported by an open-ear design reinforced with aerospace-grade memory titanium, allowing secure fit and fatigue-free wear. On the battery side, OpenNote promises up to 19 hours of listening on a single charge, or 53 hours with the case. A 10-minute quick charge nets an extra three hours of playback.

For audio, each earbud houses an 18×11mm High-Polymer Racetrack Speaker Unit with Hi-Res Small Gold Label Certification and LHDC ultra-HD transmission. Users can select from 18 preset sound profiles (including Bass Boost, Treble Boost, and Podcast Mode) or fine-tune output with an 8-band equalizer. A dedicated Game Mode reduces latency for competitive sessions in titles such as PUBG.

Connectivity includes dual-device support, with automatic switching between sources.

A Growing AI Hardware Family

Viaim describes OpenNote as part of a “complete ecosystem” that now covers both office and lifestyle use. Alongside OpenNote, IFA visitors can try the $249 RecDot, which adds active noise cancellation and a bone-conduction microphone, and the $149 NoteKit, a pen-sized AI recorder that plugs into laptops. Bundles are also offered, including a RecDot + NoteKit pack for $398.

“OpenNote is more than just earbuds,” said viaim CEO Shawn Ma. “It’s a productivity partner, creative collaborator, and style statement in one.”

Availability

The viaim OpenNote is available now through viaim’s website and Amazon for $219. RecDot and NoteKit are also available separately or as part of a bundle.

Why Your Android Can Replace Multiple Devices Today

0

In the 21st Century, many of us live busier lives than ever, and this means having accounts on many different platforms and leveraging different tools. Think of what it takes to get ready in the morning and begin your day. From checking the time to communicating with friends and work colleagues, fitness, food, transportation, weather, and much more.

A person holding a gold-colored Android smartphone, with the device's back facing the camera.

Typically, this would mean relying on so many different tools and devices simply to survive the day. But as an Android user, you’re in luck because your device can seamlessly replace multiple tools and make your life easier. Here are some of the ways it does this:

Gaming

Whether as a way to earn extra income or simply to blow off steam, many of us enjoy games of different types. These include casino games, puzzle games, combat games, and so on. But rather than needing an entire gaming setup or multiple consoles to do so, you can play your favorite games from the comfort of your Android phone. This is thanks to the myriad of apps that support every type of game imaginable.

If you’re a fan of casino games, for example, you can use one of the many online casino apps. Not only can you play games from these apps, but you can also connect to your chosen payment methods, so there is no need for complicated payment processes. If you use Cash App, for example, you’ll find that many more Android gambling apps support this (Source: https://www.cardplayer.com/online-casinos/cash-app-casinos ). The same applies to puzzle games, combat games, and every other title you can think of. Whether you are using the official app of a particular gaming company or one of the Independent options in the App Store, there’s something for you.

Steps And Fitness

Many of us are trying to be healthy and this means improving our fitness and activity level. But before you rush out to buy multiple wearable devices, consider the suite of tools already built into your Android. Your phone can already track your steps and generate reports based on each week, month, and so on. Simply by using the Health app, you can see the state of your activity levels and make changes based on this. The app allows you to set daily goals, can send you reminders when you’re falling off track or getting closer to your goal, and so on.

You can also check out the App Store, where you’ll see additional step-counting apps as well as platforms that allow you to join walking groups, complete challenges, and overall become more active. No need for endless wearable devices when your Android can already do so much.

Sleep, Screen Time, And More.

If you’re like millions of people around the world, you are looking to improve your sleep, reduce screen time, and eat better. The good news is that your Android phone can do all of these for you. The Health app already takes note of the times you go to bed and can offer support for improving your sleep pattern. This includes reminders to sleep on time, powerful alarms that will get you up at the correct time, and much more. If you want to cut down your screen time, you can always navigate to the settings page and set screen time limits. These can be for individual apps or for your phone altogether.

Then there’s the matter of nutrition, which can be addressed in many different ways. You can use food trackers like MyFitnessPal, and even AI-powered apps that will analyze your meals through photographs. Recipe apps can give you inspiration for healthy meals to prepare throughout the week and these can have you well on your way to a healthier lifestyle.

Cameras

Android devices are renowned for the powerful camera capabilities that rival some of the best in the world. Rather than having a separate camera or device to take your pictures and document your life, you can simply rely on your Android phone. Not only can powerful Android cameras capture pictures with ease, but the built-in editing software can bring them to life. If you’d like to go a step further, visit the app store and look at the hordes of photo editing apps at your disposal. You can put various filters, edit effects, and even use specialized apps to create a vintage feel to them.

Whether you’re documenting your life for your own enjoyment or creating content for a living, your Android phone can be your most valuable companion as you capture images.

Personal Assistants

One of the beauties of technology is that we can operate our lives from one single device and not have to clutter our homes with them. By downloading apps for digital assistants, you can do everything from updating your shopping lists to managing your playlists. Whether your concern is your home security or entertainment, always keep in mind that your Android device is essentially a personal assistant in your pocket.

Your Android, naturally, is also a storage space for all of your music. Gone are the days when you needed multiple music players and endless physical music media. Instead, you can keep virtually millions of songs on a single device and access them whenever you need. From making playlists for parties to simply creating a soundtrack for your day-to-day life, your Android device comes in handy.

Anker Conquers Your Stairs with eufy Marswalker

0

Tired of carrying your robot vacuum up and down the stairs? Fear not, for eufy has announced the “Marswalker,” a robot that’s basically a personal elevator for your cleaning bot! This little hero, which looks like a tiny tank with extendable arms, is designed to climb stairs and transport your Eufy RoboVac Omni S2 from one floor to the next.

That’s right, the Marswalker’s sole purpose in life is to take your vacuum on a trip. It doesn’t vacuum or mop itself; it’s just the world’s first stair-climbing platform for a cleaning robot. It even communicates with the vacuum to know when the job is done on one floor before gracefully carrying it to the next.

Finally, a robot for your robot! The future is now, and it smells like a clean floor. I love innovation in home tech right now, and eufy might be at the forefront. A robot that takes your vacuum up the stairs seems like a fantastic glimpse into the future.

The Marswalker is set to launch in the Spring of 2026. While its price is still a mystery, the RoboVac Omni S2 it’s built to serve will cost a cool $1,599. The vacuum also has a “world’s first” feature: built-in aromatherapy scent support, so your house can smell as clean as it looks.
