Google Play is turning its loyalty program into more than just app credits and discounts. Starting this week, Google Play Points members will gain access to exclusive music experiences, collectibles, and rewards, both online and in person. The rollout includes perks tied to Austin City Limits, limited artist merchandise, and even a full Play Store takeover by Taylor Swift.
Exclusive Access at Austin City Limits
At this year’s Austin City Limits (ACL) Festival, Silver-level Play Points members and above will get priority entry to Google Play’s interactive activation space. On-site, attendees can pick up exclusive collectibles and participate in a minigame for the chance to win prizes, including tour merchandise from festival performers MARINA and Role Model.
Meet & Greet with Role Model
For fans of Role Model, Google Play is hosting a priority meet-and-greet at the Google Store in Domain North Side, Austin. Silver+ members will receive first access on a limited, first-come, first-served basis, giving loyal fans a chance to connect directly with the artist.
Taylor Swift Play Store Takeover

In sync with the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift will headline a special Google Play Store takeover. The feature will spotlight curated apps, playlists, and content tied to the album, giving fans an interactive way to engage with Swift’s latest project directly from their devices.
Online-Only Merch and Surprise Rewards
Gold-level members and above can unlock an exclusive digital road case inside the Google Play app. This opens access to surprise rewards and physical collectibles, including a limited-edition spinning slipmat and Road Case Bag, created in collaboration with designer Nik Bentel. Fans can also use their points to redeem official tour merchandise from artists like MARINA and Role Model.
Music Meets Membership
The new perks expand what Google Play Points offers beyond apps and games, connecting fans with the music and artists they already love in more personal ways. Whether it’s skipping lines at ACL, grabbing limited merch, or seeing Taylor Swift front and center on the Play Store, the program is giving members fresh reasons to check in.
