Are Sweepstakes Casinos Better Than Online Casinos?

0

The past few years have seen sweepstakes casinos take the internet by storm. Stake.us, Chumba, WOW Vegas, and others have gained millions of players in the process, leading to what many are calling a war of casinos. Now, players have a choice between sweepstakes casinos or online casinos when searching for somewhere to play, so many are racking their brains wondering which they should join.

Introduction to Sweepstakes Casinos

Sweepstakes casinos are a brand-new type of online casino that offer hundreds of casino-style games for free. Yes, free. There’s the opportunity to win prizes thrown on top, where players must try to collect as many ‘Sweeps Coins (SC)’ as possible to then redeem them for gift cards, cash transfers, and more.

What you’re not allowed to do in sweepstakes casinos is bet any real money. This is completely restricted. Instead, players can only use free-play Gold Coins or prize-winning Sweeps Coins when playing.

If you visit the SweepsPlays site and join one of the sweepstakes casinos, players can also take part in tournaments, have fun climbing leaderboards, and interact with other players, so it’s a much more social experience compared to what traditional online casinos offer.

How Sweepstakes Casinos Work

All sweepstakes casinos work the same way.

You sign up for free on Android, iOS or PC and usually receive some type of welcome bonus, like Chumba’s 2 million Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins.

From there, you can start using your Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins on any of the available games, such as slots.

Remember, Gold Coins are just for entertainment and let you play any of the games for free, whereas Sweeps Coins have actual value and can be used to redeem prizes if you collect enough of them.

While playing, you can also climb the site’s game leaderboards, take part in tournaments, complete on-site missions, and plenty more.

In a way, sweepstakes casinos are like actual gaming sites, as it’s not just about the casino games but interacting with other players and completing tasks to keep leveling up and earning rewards.

And any players out there who are lucky to win enough Sweeps Coins simply need to head to the prize redemption menu of the sweepstakes casino, pick the prize they want, and hit redeem (1 SC converts to $1, so if you’ve won 150 SC, that means you can redeem $150 worth of prizes).

When playing in sweepstakes casinos, players also regularly look out for special promotions and events, too, as these are a big part of the experience.

Sweepstakes Casinos vs Real-Money Online Casinos [Key Differences]

Sweepstakes CasinosReal-Money Online Casinos
Use virtual currencies: Gold Coins & Sweeps Coins Players bet real money
Slots, live dealer games, & moreSlots, live dealer games, & more
Win prizes like gift cards, merchandise, and cash transfersNo prizes, only possible to win money through direct bets
Legal in 40+ statesOnly legal in 7 states
Appeals to Gen Z, Millennials, and casual playersTargeted at serious gamblers who want to win real money

User Experience Comparison

When you take a look at sweepstakes casinos and real-money online casinos, the user experience is completely different, even though the casinos themselves tend to offer the same games.

Sweepstakes casinos are intended for younger, casual players who want a fun and interactive gaming experience without having to bet real money.

Regular online casinos are meant for actual gamblers who are focused on winning real money, just like the casinos you find on the Las Vegas Strip (it’s about winning money and not the actual experience itself).

What you’ll find with sweepstakes casinos is that it’s a more “fun” type of gaming experience, whereas online casinos (despite offering excellent user experiences as well) are serious and money-focused.

Interestingly, online casinos are much faster when it comes to cashouts and you generally get your money very fast, whereas sweepstakes casino prize withdrawals can be slow due to players having to provide proof of ID and bank account.

Sweepstakes Casinos

✔️ Players use virtual ‘Gold Coins’ for free and ‘Sweeps Coins’ to win prizes

✔️ Strong focus on climbing leaderboards, completing missions, and earning rewards

✔️ Casual and extremely fun-focused

Real-Money Online Casinos

✔️ Traditional online gambling where you can play games using real money

✔️ Serious gameplay where bets require money

✔️ Available in fewer states due to gambling regulations

Can You Win Money in Sweepstakes Casinos?

You technically can’t win real money directly through sweepstakes casino games, but what you can do is collect enough Sweeps Coins and then redeem those coins for cash. It’s a clever workaround that all sweepstakes casinos use and so it’s the best option on the table for the money-focused sweepstakes players. And if you’re not interested in money, you can redeem your Sweeps Coins for gift cards and other prizes instead.

Sweepstakes Casinos vs. Real Money Online Casinos: Which Are Better?

So, now that you’re up to scratch on how sweepstakes casinos work and why they’re different from regular online casinos, you’ll need to decide which you should sign up with.

The truth is that sweepstakes casinos are better if you’re focused on fun gameplay and winning prizes. They are also better due to the fact that nobody is forced to bet actual money, which isn’t allowed.

However, if you want serious action where the betting actually involves real money instead of virtual coins, then regular online casinos are better in that sense (which is why they’re still hugely popular with gamblers).

And if you’re a beginner to the world of casinos in general, we strongly recommend starting off with sweepstakes casinos simply because of how beginner-friendly they are and you don’t have to worry about betting any real money at all.

Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 Review

Anker SOLIX has been on a roll lately, rounding out its second-generation lineup with the SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 Portable Power Station. This bolstered unit arrives as a more capable sibling to the C1000, hitting a definitive sweet spot between high-capacity performance and manageable portability. Whether you’re a Floridian prepping for hurricane season or a weekend warrior looking for off-grid peace of mind, this station is designed to keep your essential ecosystem running without the bulk of legacy models.

Design

Right out of the box, the C2000 Gen 2 discards the clunky battery aesthetic for a matte-black, futuristic look that feels more like a premium tech gadget than a piece of hardware. It clocks in at approximately 42 pounds, which is a significant reduction from older models that required wheels and suitcase handles. Thanks to its ergonomic and sturdy handles, the unit is surprisingly easy to transport, making it a viable companion for “glamping” or art studio support.

The user interface has received a major facelift, featuring a bright, crisp display that remains legible even under direct sunlight. Anker has also refined the physical controls, swapping mushy inputs for tactile buttons that offer a satisfying click. While the build quality is top-tier, some users have noted that the rubber feet lack a bit of grip on smooth surfaces, though this is a minor trade-off for such a polished piece of kit.

Close-up of a portable power station displaying a digital charge level of 96%, multiple USB ports, and AC outlets.

The Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 strikes a perfect balance between high-capacity performance and portability, offering a futuristic design that feels more like a premium gadget than heavy hardware. With its near-silent operation and lightning-fast charging, it provides a reliable, user-friendly foundation for everything from off-grid ‘glamping’ to essential home backup during a storm.

Ports or Inputs/Output

Anker didn’t hold back on versatility, packing this station with 10 output ports to handle almost any scenario. The lineup includes five standard 120V AC outlets and a specialized TT-30R port perfect for small trailers or RVs. For the modern professional, the inclusion of two 140W high-speed USB-C ports ensures that laptops and tablets stay topped off without needing a wall brick.

Charging convenience is where the C2000 Gen 2 really flexes its muscles. When plugged into a standard wall outlet, it can reach a full charge in just 88 minutes. For those leaning into the solar lifestyle, the unit supports an 800W solar input, and you can even combine solar and AC power for a lightning-fast 58-minute “hyper-charge”. You also have the flexibility to charge via a gas generator or a standard 12V car auxiliary port while on the move.

Performance

Under the hood, this station delivers a 2,400W continuous output and can handle impressive surges up to 4,000W or even 6,000W in short bursts. In real-world testing, it easily powered high-draw appliances like air fryers and electric kettles, though these “heavy hitters” naturally drain the battery faster. For sensitive gear, the unit features a 10ms UPS switchover time, ensuring your internet router or desktop computer stays powered during a sudden blackout.

One of the most impressive aspects of the C2000 Gen 2 is its near-silent operation; the fan system is quiet enough that you can sleep right next to it in a tent or bedroom without a second thought.

The experience is further bolstered by the Anker SOLIX app, which allows you to monitor wattage, toggle outlets, and adjust charging limits via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. It’s a seamless, intuitive experience that takes the guesswork out of energy management.

A compact white space heater with a digital control panel, featuring a red indicator light, positioned on a wooden floor near a power station and an instruction manual.

I live in Tennessee and was so thankful to have the SOLIX C2000 recently. We’ve experienced an uncharacteristically harsh winter ice storm over the last month and lost power a few times. While we were only in the dark a few hours, the C2000 Gen 2 helped keep a small heater running in our bedroom for around two of those hours. It also kept our cellphones charged just in case of emergency. (Shoutout to the several other Anker SOLIX models we have running the fridge and larger appliances as well).

Battery Life

Equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells, the C2000 Gen 2 is built for the long haul, rated for over 4,000 charging cycles with a projected lifespan of 10+ years. The base 2,048Wh capacity is plenty for a full day of “hurricane simulation,” running a typical refrigerator for 22 hours or a 55-inch smart TV for about 20 hours. If you find your needs growing, the system is expandable to a massive 4,096Wh with an optional expansion battery.

Efficiency is another win for Anker, as the station boasts an 89% efficiency rating, ensuring you get more usable juice out of every watt-hour compared to many competitors. Even with multiple devices like a laptop, lamp, and fan running simultaneously, you can expect several hours of reliable power. It provides a solid foundation for home backup or off-grid living, giving you the confidence to weather the storm or enjoy the great outdoors without compromise.

Final Thoughts

Ultimately, the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen 2 is a future-proof investment that manages to be both powerful and user-friendly. While it lacks a built-in front light, its rapid charging, quiet performance, and premium build more than make up for it. At its price point of $800, currently on sale, it offers incredible bang for your buck for anyone needing reliable, portable energy.

SwitchBot Launches AI Hub with Local AI & OpenClaw Support

0

SwitchBot, a prominent innovator in embodied home robotics, has officially announced the global launch of the SwitchBot AI Hub. Distinguishing itself as the first local home AI agent to integrate the OpenClaw framework, the hub represents a major leap toward autonomous, privacy-centric smart home management.

By decentralizing AI processing from the cloud to the edge, the AI Hub offers users a secure environment to run sophisticated models locally. This reduces latency and safeguards personal data while providing advanced visual understanding of household events.

Advancing Smart Homes with OpenClaw and VLM

The SwitchBot AI Hub is the industry’s first local agent to support OpenClaw, an open-source framework for autonomous AI. This integration allows the hub to function as a persistent digital assistant that operates 24/7. Unlike traditional hubs, it can be accessed through over 50 common messaging applications, including WhatsApp, iMessage, and Discord, enabling users to manage their homes through natural dialogue.

The device is further enhanced by an on-board Vision-Language Model (VLM). When synchronized with SwitchBot cameras or third-party RTSP feeds, the VLM interprets visual data like a human observer. It can identify nuanced behaviors—such as a family member resting on a sofa or a pet entering a specific area—and use these events as precise triggers for complex automations.

Local Security and Expandable Ecosystem

At its core, the AI Hub acts as a robust Network Video Recorder (NVR) powered by Frigate. It supports up to eight cameras simultaneously and features on-device facial recognition. To eliminate the need for costly cloud subscriptions, the hub includes 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable via USB-C to a massive 16TB.

Technical highlights include:

  • Connectivity: Supports over 100 SwitchBot devices and acts as a Matter bridge for up to 30 products.
  • Network Stability: Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi and extended Bluetooth range for faster local execution.
  • Customization: Advanced users can install Home Assistant Core directly onto the device without additional hardware.

Executive Vision: The Evolution of Home Intelligence

“The launch of the AI Hub marks our transition from simple automation to true embodied intelligence,” said Richard Johnson, CEO of SwitchBot. “By bringing the power of OpenClaw and local VLM processing into the home, we are giving our users an agent that doesn’t just follow schedules but actually understands and anticipates their needs. Our goal is to provide a smarter, more responsive environment that remains entirely under the user’s local control.”

eufy Omni C20 Vacuum Review

0

Let’s be honest: nobody actually enjoys vacuuming, and even fewer people enjoy the sight of a massive, monolithic robot base station taking up half their hallway. Enter the eufy Omni C20, a robot vacuum that seems to have heard our collective cries for a cleaning solution that is both powerful and polite enough to stay out of the way. By blending high-end automation with a surprisingly compact footprint, eufy is making a play for the “Goldilocks” spot in the smart home market.

Design

The first thing you notice about the Omni C20 isn’t actually the robot itself, but the station it calls home. eufy has managed a bit of architectural wizardry here with their “Mini-Omni Station.” While many competitors are moving toward towers that look like small refrigerators, the C20’s dock is impressively short and sleek, designed to tuck under side tables or blend into modern minimalist decor. The robot follows suit with a clean, low-profile aesthetic, featuring a top-mounted LiDAR turret that acts as its “eyes.”

Despite the smaller stature of the dock, it doesn’t skimp on the essentials, housing both the clean and dirty water tanks and a 2.5L dust bag that keeps debris out of sight and out of mind for weeks. It’s a design that prioritizes living space, proving that you don’t need a giant machine to get a giant clean.

Features

Under the hood, the Omni C20 is packed with specs that would make a tech enthusiast swoon. The headliner here is the 7,000Pa ultra-strong suction—a number that puts it right at the top of its weight class for picking up everything from fine dust to the stubborn cereal your toddler “shared” with the floor. But raw power is nothing without smarts, and the C20 features an Active Detangling Roller Brush, a godsend for pet owners who are tired of performing surgery on their vacuum every Sunday to remove hair wraps.

On the mopping side, the system utilizes dual spinning mops that don’t just drag a damp cloth across the floor; they apply consistent pressure to scrub away stains. Perhaps the coolest “party trick” is the Auto-Mop Lifting feature, which detects carpet and raises the pads by 10mm, ensuring your rugs stay dry while your hardwood gets a deep shine.

The Eufy Omni C20 delivers a masterclass in balance, pairing 7,000Pa of high-end suction power with a compact ‘Mini-Omni Station’ that respects your living space without sacrificing a deep clean.

Performance

When it’s time to get to work, the Omni C20 moves with a level of intentionality that’s impressive to watch. Thanks to its advanced LiDAR navigation, it doesn’t spend its afternoon banging into baseboards like a confused bumper car. Instead, it maps the home with high precision, creating efficient cleaning paths even in the dark. In real-world testing, that 7,000Pa suction translates to exceptional performance on both hard floors and medium-pile carpets, pulling debris from deep within the fibers.

The mopping performance isn’t quite as reliable. There’s no internal tank, so the C20 relies on the mops to be periodically dampened by the station. It leads to more stubborn blemishes on my tile flooring, wanting a bit more elbow grease, so to speak.

Omni Station takes care of the dirty work afterward by washing and drying the mop pads with heated air to prevent any funky odors. While it might not have the AI-powered camera “obstacle recognition” of its more expensive siblings, its infrared sensors are more than capable of navigating around furniture and avoiding a tumble down the stairs.

One thing worth noting is the Omni C20 is relatively loud. All vacuums in this segment have a heavy “hum”, but I’d argue it’s a bit more here. Is it as loud as a traditional stand up vacuum? No, but it’s worth taking a few words to set it up and share the video below.

Final Thoughts

The eufy Omni C20 is a masterclass in compromise, and mostly the good kind. It manages to strip away the excessive bulk and the intimidating price points of flagship models while retaining the premium features that actually matter, like high-suction power and a truly self-sufficient base station. It’s the perfect fit for the urban dweller with limited square footage or the busy family looking for a reliable “set it and forget it” cleaning partner.

While it skips some of the ultra-premium bells and whistles like onboard cameras or voice-assistant screens, it focuses heavily on the fundamentals: picking up dirt, scrubbing floors, and staying out of your way. If you’re looking for a cleaning companion that punches well above its weight class without taking over your living room, the C20 is easily one of the best values on the market today at just $350.

Sharge Takes Charging in Two Directions With Its Latest Power Gear

0

Portable power used to be a one-size-fits-all category. Big battery, a couple of ports, done. Sharge’s newest additions to its lineup suggest that era is officially over. Instead of trying to make a single device do everything reasonably well, the brand has taken a more deliberate approach. The Shargeek 300 and the ICEMAG 3 arrive as purpose-built tools aimed at two very different kinds of users, both of whom care deeply about power, performance, and how their gear fits into daily life.

One is designed for people who think in watts, ports, and workloads. The other is for those who live on their phone and want fast, frustration-free charging without cables taking over their pockets. Together, they paint a clear picture of where portable power is heading: more specialized, more thoughtful, and far more capable than the power banks most people are used to.

Shargeek 300: When Portable Power Starts Acting Like Infrastructure

The Shargeek 300, now available for backing through Kickstarter, is what happens when a power bank stops pretending it’s just for phones and tablets. With a massive 300W total output and a 24,000mAh battery packed into a surprisingly compact, energy drink-sized body, it feels closer to a mobile power station than a traditional battery pack.

Packing 300W of output into a compact, airline-safe body, the Shargeek 300 pushes portable power well beyond phone charging.

At its core, the appeal is simple: this thing can run serious gear. Dual USB-C ports capable of delivering up to 140W each mean two laptops can charge at full speed at the same time, without throttling or juggling cables. Add in USB-A and a wide-range DC output that scales from 25W to 140W, and the Shargeek 300 suddenly becomes viable for drones, cameras, portable monitors, networking gear, and even niche tools like soldering irons.

What elevates it beyond raw output is visibility. The oversized smart display offers real-time insight into power flow, temperature, charging curves, battery health, and usage history. It’s less “plug it in and hope” and more “know exactly what’s happening.” For creators, remote workers, and tech-heavy travelers, that kind of feedback turns portable power into something predictable and dependable.

The industrial aluminum chassis, transparent accents, and customizable RGB lighting underline that this is not meant to disappear into a bag unnoticed. It’s designed to be part of a setup, whether that’s a desk, a mobile workstation, or a travel kit. Despite the muscle, it stays airline-safe at 86.4Wh, making it practical as well as powerful.

Who it’s for: power users, mobile professionals, creators, and anyone tired of carrying multiple chargers and adapters just to keep their workflow alive.

ICEMAG 3: Wireless Charging That Finally Solves the Heat Problem

If the Shargeek 300 is about scale and output, the ICEMAG 3 ($68) is about refinement. It focuses on one everyday frustration and quietly fixes it: wireless charging that slows to a crawl once things warm up.

The ICEMAG 3 is the world’s first Qi2-certified 25W magnetic power bank with active cooling, and that distinction matters. Qi2 improves magnetic alignment and efficiency, but Sharge went a step further by adding a whisper-quiet fan that actively manages heat during charging. The result is wireless charging that stays fast instead of tapering off halfway through.

For MagSafe-compatible iPhones, that means significantly quicker top-ups, with real-world results that feel closer to wired charging than traditional wireless pads. For everything else, it falls back gracefully to standard Qi speeds without drama.

The design leans into everyday convenience. A 10,000mAh battery keeps it compact and pocketable, while dual USB-C ports and an integrated braided cable let it charge up to three devices at once. A built-in kickstand turns it into a practical desk companion for calls, streaming, or notifications while charging.

Visually, it carries Sharge’s transparent, RGB-accented style, but in a form factor that feels more lifestyle than industrial. Safety is clearly prioritized too, with temperature monitoring, overcharge protection, flame-retardant materials, and high-grade battery cells throughout.

Who it’s for: iPhone users, commuters, frequent travelers, and anyone who relies on their phone all day and wants fast, tidy charging without cable clutter.

Two Devices, One Clear Message

What ties the Shargeek 300 and ICEMAG 3 together isn’t shared specs or overlapping use cases. It’s intent. Both products are unapologetically focused on doing one job extremely well, instead of trying to be everything to everyone.

The Shargeek 300 redefines what “portable” power can mean for serious hardware and demanding workflows. The ICEMAG 3 rethinks wireless charging as something that can actually be fast, cool, and convenient all at once.

For users, that clarity is refreshing. You’re not choosing between compromises. You’re choosing the tool that fits how you actually use power, whether that’s running laptops and gear for hours or keeping your phone topped off without thinking about it. Perhaps our favorite feature in Sharge’s products is that they take time to make things look interesting. Products that are otherwise boring and utilitarian have become conversation starters.

In a category crowded with lookalike batteries, that kind of focus feels like a quiet but meaningful upgrade.

OnePlus Go Pad 2 Review

OnePlus has been actively expanding its lineup further than just great smartphones. The company has a unique take on many devices, and tablets are no exception. Late in 2025, alongside the new OnePlus 15R, we saw the release of the OnePlus Pad Go 2

We finally got our hands onto the budget minded tab, and it showcases some strong features for a tablet at the $399 price range.

Design

The OnePlus Pad Go 2 embraces a familiar, sophisticated aesthetic that might lead you to mistake it for an Apple product at first glance. It features a large 12.1-inch LCD with even bezels and flat side rails, providing a modern look that fits perfectly into the current tablet market. While the build is primarily matte plastic, which can attract fingerprints, it remains a solid and well-constructed device.

Users can choose between understated Shadow Black and more unique Lavender Drift finishes. Perhaps the most functional design choice is the 7:5 aspect ratio, which strikes a beautiful balance between a square iPad and a narrow widescreen tablet, making it feel as natural for reading a magazine as it is for streaming movies.

A black tablet with a white stylus placed on top, featuring the OnePlus logo. A small camera is visible in the top corner, with a decorative penguin figure and a speaker in the background.

Although it lacks a fingerprint sensor, opting instead for facial recognition or PIN security, the overall footprint remains portable enough to slide into a laptop bag for life on the move.

Software

OnePlus has truly outdone itself with the software commitment for this mid-range slate, offering a staggering five years of Android updates and six years of security patches. This support longevity actually beats the brand’s own flagship phones, providing immense long-term value for users and building significant brand trust.

Running OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, the experience is snappy and highly customizable. The software is further enhanced by useful AI features, such as the AI Recorder for generating meeting summaries and AI Translate for smoother communication.

A tablet displaying the time and date on its screen, with a notification about a software update. The device is propped up on a flat surface with a white speaker and decorative figures in the background.

For those who need to get things done, the Open Canvas multitasking feature remains a standout tool, allowing users to effortlessly shuffle documents and notes around the screen. Additionally, O Plus Connect enables a seamless, DeX-like experience for those who want to link the tablet to their laptop or OnePlus smartphone.

With a stunning 120Hz display and an industry-leading six years of security support, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is a rare budget tablet built to stay premium for years to come.

Daily Use

For the average user looking for a reliable media companion, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 delivers where it counts. The quad-speaker setup is a delightful surprise, producing punchy, loud, and well-balanced audio that is perfect for watching sports or listening to music across a room.

While the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset isn’t a powerhouse for high-end gaming, it is more than capable of handling daily tasks like browsing the web, catching up on Kindle books, or streaming high-definition content.

The tablet also supports a specialized Stylo accessory with 4096 pressure levels, making it a handy tool for jotting down notes or light sketching. It’s not as robust as the Stylo 2 found on the Pad 3, but it gets the job don in most instances. Even though it lacks a high IP rating for water resistance, it excels as a “kill time” device for traveling, waiting for appointments, or simply relaxing at home.

A close-up view of a stylus resting on a sleek, textured surface with a black holder. The holder features the OnePlus logo.

Battery Life

Battery endurance is one of the strongest selling points for this tablet, as it houses a massive 10,050mAh cell. In real-world testing, the device can last through several days of intermittent reading and streaming without needing a charge. It specifically excels in web browsing, where it can last over 13 hours, ranking it among the top tablets for endurance in its class.

When you finally do run the battery down, OnePlus includes a 33W SuperVOOC charger in the box, which is a welcome addition for any budget-conscious buyer. While the two-hour charging time isn’t the fastest on the market, it is perfectly acceptable for a device of this size and price point.

Final Thoughts

At a competitive price of $399, the OnePlus Pad Go 2 successfully positions itself as a versatile and long-lasting alternative to the entry-level iPad. It may not be a laptop replacement for power users, but it checks almost all the boxes for someone who wants a premium-feeling Android tablet for media and light productivity. The combination of an excellent 120Hz display, a user-friendly aspect ratio, and industry-leading software support makes it a smart investment that will stay current for years to come. For fans already in the OnePlus ecosystem, it serves as a beautiful complementary device that fulfills its purpose with style and reliability.

Using this tablet is like carrying a reliable travel guide; it may not be the fastest runner on the track, but it has all the information you need and will stay by your side for the entire journey.

Hands-on: Rolling Square’s New Dual Trackers Add Android Find Hub Support

0

Rolling Square makes some of the most durable, and unique, tech accessories on the market. The rugged, retro-tech designs of many of the company’s products make them stand out. We reviewed the Rolling Square AirNotch Pro and AirCard Pro last year and loved the Apple Find My support.

Back with Android Find Hub

It’s now 2026, and Rolling Square has relaunched both models. What’s the catch? The AirNotch Pro and AirCard Pro now have Dual universal mobile tracking built in. That’s right, you can now add them to either Android’s Find Hub, or Apple Find My.

The overall design, is mostly unchanged. You still get the same “see through” look that gives each tracker a very Star Wars vibe. Personally, I find these Rolling Square trackers to have some of the best personality of any models I’ve tested.

The anodized aluminum and gray plastics of my test units lean into this. The retro industrial design is consistent, right down to the LED rings and speakers. These are fantastic additions to find your personal items when the AirNotch and AirCard Pro are signaled as lost. The LED flashes and loudspeakers make finding them a breeze.

Wireless Charging and Long Battery

Close-up of a Microsoft Pro device with a blue LED light, QR code, and control buttons on a stand.

The Rolling Square AirCard Pro Dual can last up to 12 months on a single charge. This is impressive alone, but when you do need to recharge, you don’t have to remember where you left that pesky charger. You can instead pop it on a Qi charger and only have to wait around 90 minutes.

While the AirNotch Pro Dual doesn’t have wireless charging, it does have long-lasting endurance of its own. Housing two, stackable CR2032 batteries give this tracker up to 20 months of usage before you have to consider replacements.

Price is Right Too

The hit to your wallet is the exact same for the AirCard Pro Dual and AirNotch Pro Dual. Each unit costs just $40 to add to your next travel bag or daily items you need to track. Marshall Heddon: A Music Streaming Hub for Multi-Room Audio

0

Marshall has officially announced the launch of Heddon, a specialized music streaming hub engineered to transform the brand’s home Bluetooth speakers into a synchronized, multi-room audio ecosystem. Designed to merge the tactile heritage of analog music with the convenience of modern connectivity, Heddon allows users to unify multiple speakers into a single, seamless listening experience.

By leveraging Wi-Fi and Auracast broadcast technology, Heddon serves as a bridge, allowing high-fidelity audio to flow between different rooms without the latency or interruption typically associated with standard Bluetooth setups.

Integration of Analog Warmth and Digital Versatility

A core feature of the Heddon hub is its ability to integrate traditional record players into a modern digital network. By connecting a turntable to the hub, listeners can broadcast the “warmth” of vinyl across their entire home, effectively digitizing the analog signal for a multi-speaker environment.

The hub offers native support for premium streaming services, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL, AirPlay, and Google Cast. While optimized for the current generation of Marshall hardware—specifically the Acton III, Stanmore III, and Woburn III—the device is also backward compatible. Through its RCA output, users can integrate older Marshall models, such as the Kilburn or the original Stanmore Bluetooth, extending the lifespan of legacy equipment.

A Living Audio Platform

“The habits of music consumption are continually transforming, and Heddon is developed to adapt alongside them,” remarked Gustaf Living Rosell, Chief Product and Innovation Officer at Marshall. “We perceive Heddon as a dynamic platform. Through forthcoming software enhancements and tight partnership with our community, we are determined to persist in broadening its potential. We’ll continue to unveil more functionalities and additional product lines while remaining faithful to the genuine manner in which individuals enjoy music in their homes.”

Sustainability and Product Longevity

In alignment with modern environmental standards, Marshall has constructed 53 percent of the Heddon hub from recycled materials. Furthermore, the device is entirely PVC-free, including the internal electrical cords, targeting the elimination of harmful plastics from the supply chain. To further promote sustainability, Marshall is launching authorized repair services and offering spare parts to ensure the hub remains a long-term fixture in the user’s home.

Audeze Reveals LCD-5s Flagship Planar Headphones Featuring SLAM Technology

0

Audeze, a global leader in planar magnetic audio technology, has officially announced the launch of the LCD-5s, a high-performance evolution of its flagship headphone series. Debuting at the 2026 NAMM Show, the LCD-5s introduces the company’s proprietary SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology, designed to deliver unprecedented bass authority and spatial precision for audio professionals and audiophiles alike.

The LCD-5s represents a sophisticated refinement of the LCD-5 platform, combining handcrafted luxury with state-of-the-art acoustic engineering. The new model is positioned as a reference tool for mastering engineers and creators who require absolute transparency and lifelike dynamics.

Breakthrough in Planar Magnetic Engineering

The hallmark of the LCD-5s is the integration of SLAM technology, a breakthrough originally developed for Audeze’s elite electrostatic designs. This modulator optimizes internal air pressure and driver movement, resulting in a palpably physical low-frequency response and enhanced mid-range clarity.

“With the LCD-5s, we have refined every critical aspect of the experience,” stated Sankar Thiagasaudram, CEO of Audeze. “From driver performance to industrial design—to create the most emotionally engaging and accurate planar magnetic headphone in our history.”

Premium Build and Technical Specifications

Constructed from lightweight magnesium and carbon fiber, the LCD-5s weighs only 420 grams, significantly reducing fatigue during long-form studio sessions. The aesthetic is defined by deep-gloss tortoiseshell acetate rings and subtle copper accents, reinforcing its status as a flagship luxury product.

According to Bernie and Dale Becker, Latin Grammy Winning Mastering Engineers – “The LCD-5s is upgraded and improved beyond any reasonable expectation. It’s better, bigger, smoother, wider, deeper, more articulate, and more comfortable.”

Core Performance Data:

  • Driver Type: 90mm Planar Magnetic with Nano-Scale Parallel Uniforce Diaphragm.
  • Frequency Response: 5Hz – 50kHz.
  • Total Harmonic Distortion (THD): <0.1 percent @ 100dB SPL.
  • Sensitivity: 90dB/1mW.
  • Impedance: 30 ohms.

The system also features redesigned sculpted earpads with a curved geometry. These pads improve the acoustic seal and distribute pressure more evenly, while simultaneously reducing internal reflections to maintain sonic purity.

Pricing and Availability

The Audeze LCD-5s is available for purchase immediately through authorized dealers and the official Audeze website. MSRP: $4,500.00. Each unit ships in a reinforced aluminum travel case and includes a premium, high-purity 4-pin XLR balanced copper cable with multiple adapters for versatile connectivity.
