Contracts Decoded: Adobe’s AI Finally Reads the Fine Print So You Don’t Have To

0

Adobe has introduced new contract intelligence capabilities in Acrobat AI Assistant, making it easier for users to understand and compare complex agreements. With AI-powered summaries, one-click citations, and contract comparison tools, the latest update is designed to help consumers and businesses navigate contracts with greater confidence and efficiency.

AI-Powered Contract Intelligence

Contracts play a critical role in everyday life, from credit card agreements and vendor contracts to phone plans and job offers. Yet, their length and complexity often leave people uncertain about key terms. A recent Adobe Acrobat survey found that nearly 70% of consumers have signed contracts without fully understanding the details, while 64% of small business owners have avoided signing agreements due to confusion over terms.

“Customers open billions of contracts in Adobe Acrobat each month, and AI has the potential to dramatically simplify their experience,” said Abhigyan Modi, Senior Vice President of Adobe Document Cloud. “With Acrobat AI Assistant, we’re delivering contract intelligence that helps users break down complex documents, quickly compare key details, and verify information with trusted citations—all while keeping their data secure.”

Key Features of the New Contract Intelligence Tools

Acrobat AI Assistant introduces several AI-driven enhancements tailored specifically for contracts:

  • Automated Contract Recognition – The AI Assistant automatically detects when a document is a contract, whether scanned or digital, and optimizes the experience accordingly.
  • Summarized Key Terms with Citations – Users receive plain-language explanations of critical contract terms, such as payment conditions and cancellation policies, with clickable citations to verify sources.
  • Document Comparison Across Versions – The system enables side-by-side analysis of up to 10 contracts, flagging inconsistencies and helping users track changes across different agreements.
  • Secure Collaboration and E-Signatures – Acrobat AI Assistant facilitates contract reviews with stakeholders and allows for seamless e-signature requests within the same workflow.

Real-World Applications

The new AI-driven contract intelligence can streamline contract management across a variety of scenarios:

  • For Consumers: Easily review apartment leases, gym memberships, and phone plans to pinpoint key policies and avoid hidden fees.
  • For Business Users: Accelerate vendor contract reviews, compare marketing agreements, and identify deliverables in service contracts.
  • For Finance Teams: Quickly verify payment schedules and terms across sales contracts and purchase orders.

Built on Adobe’s Responsible AI Framework

Adobe emphasizes security and responsible AI development in Acrobat AI Assistant. The system adheres to strict data privacy protocols, ensuring that no customer data is used to train Adobe’s generative AI models or any third-party AI systems. Adobe leverages its own AI and machine learning technologies, including those behind Liquid Mode, to enhance document understanding and deliver highly accurate insights.

Availability and Pricing

The new contract intelligence features are now available in Acrobat AI Assistant as part of an add-on subscription, priced at $4.99 per month. The service is accessible across desktop, web, and mobile in English, with additional language support planned for future updates. For more details, visit Adobe’s official website.

POCO X7 Pro Review

The POCO X7 Pro, announced a few weeks back, is now available with a standard counterpart, the X7. Although designed similarly, they cater to slightly different users; however, they both offer quite a powerful experience for their respective prices. That is to say they certainly follow in the footsteps of their predecessors in providing an excellent “bang for buck” proposition.

I’ve had a chance to spend some time with the X7 Pro and have come away with some thoughts on the device. Here’s my take on the POXO X7 Pro.

Design

The POCO X7 Pro really nails the balance between sleek aesthetics and practical build quality. This is a slick looking device, to be sure. The 6.67-inch AMOLED display pops with vibrant colors and sharp details, making it a great companion for streaming and gaming. The 120Hz refresh rate make sure everything runs smoothly — whether you’re scrolling through social media or playing high-frame-rate games.

Durability is another plus. With an IP68 rating, it’s well protected against dust and water, so a little rain won’t be a problem. The flat frame makes it comfortable to hold for long periods, and Gorilla Glass 7i keeps the screen protected against scratches and accidental drops. POCO has added some flair with multiple color options, including a vegan leather POCO Yellow variant, which adds a unique touch.

Features

Under the hood, the POCO X7 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, and it’s fast. Whether I’m switching between apps, running games, or handling work tasks, the performance stays consistent without lag. With up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage, there’s plenty of power and space. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that there’s no microSD slot, so you’ll need to choose the right storage option upfront.

Camera Experience

The dual-camera setup on the back consists of a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The main sensor does a great job capturing sharp and vibrant images in good lighting. Even in low light, OIS helps keep images crisp, and the Night mode boosts detail while keeping noise under control.

The ultra-wide lens is handy for capturing larger scenes, but like most ultra-wides, there’s a slight quality dip in lower-light environments. The camera software includes plenty of shooting modes—Pro mode, Portrait mode, and AI scene recognition—so it’s easy to fine-tune shots to match different settings.

Video recording is solid, with 4K at 30fps delivering smooth, clear footage. OIS makes a big difference, especially when moving around. Slow-motion and time-lapse options add some fun creative elements.

Selfie fans shouldn’t be disappointed as the 20MP front camera produces great skin tones and does well with Portrait mode. It also supports 1080p video recording, making it a good pick for video calls and vlogging.

Software Experience

The POCO X7 Pro runs on HyperOS 2, built on Android 15. The interface feels fluid, and I always appreciate the high level of customization. Whether tweaking the always-on display or reorganizing widgets and themes, there’s plenty of flexibility. In fact, the longer I spend with the phone, the more I find myself continuing to tweak and tailor the experience.

Navigation is intuitive with gesture-based controls, and the system is well-optimized to keep things snappy. HyperOS 2 also includes solid privacy features, with improved app permission management and a secure folder for private files. POCO promises regular security updates and at least two major Android updates, which adds confidence in long-term software support.

I’ve seen reports that some users have had occasional notification delays, where certain app alerts don’t appear immediately. I’ve not experienced that myself, but it’s worth noting. I do find the built-in battery optimization settings can be aggressive, sometimes closing background apps unexpectedly to conserve power.

There’s also some ( a bunch of) pre-installed bloatware, which, while removable, can be a minor inconvenience during initial setup. Additionally, some animations and transitions can feel a bit inconsistent, particularly in third-party apps. While none of these are dealbreakers, they do require minor tweaks or adjustments for the best experience. Again, the more time I spend with the phone, the more I adjust things to my liking.

Setup

Setting up the POCO X7 Pro is a smooth process. The box includes the phone, a 90W fast charger, a USB Type-C cable, a protective case, a pre-installed screen protector, and a user guide. You’re pretty much set from the start. Android makes it easy to migrate from a previous device so those of you who are upgrading should find it a sinch to pick up where you left off.

General Performance

Daily performance is fantastic, thanks to the Dimensity 8400 Ultra and up to 12GB of RAM. Whether I’m juggling multiple apps, streaming high-definition videos, or playing graphically demanding games, the phone handles it all effortlessly. The 120Hz AMOLED display adds to the smoothness, making interactions feel incredibly fluid.

Gaming performance is solid, with high frame rates and minimal overheating, even during longer sessions. Titles like Genshin Impact and Call of Duty: Mobile run well, with stable frame rates and no noticeable lag. The advanced cooling system helps keep temperatures in check, so the device doesn’t get uncomfortably warm.

Beyond gaming, everyday multitasking is seamless. Apps open quickly, animations are smooth, and the phone rarely stutters, even when switching between heavy apps. The 1920Hz high-frequency Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) dimming also makes it comfortable to use at night, reducing eye strain during extended screen time.

I often find myself repeating the sentiment along the lines of “if I have to go looking for stutters and bugs, that tells me it’s a decent device at a minimum.” That is the case here as I didn’t encounter anything that grabbed my attention or signaled an issue.

Value

For Rs. 27,999 (~$325 USD), the POCO X7 Pro feels like a great deal. You get a bright and fast AMOLED display, a reliable processor, a well-built design, and a capable camera system. If you’re looking for a phone that balances performance and price well, this is definitely one to consider. The only real trade-offs are the lack of expandable storage and some software quirks, but overall, it holds up strongly in the mid-range market.

Audio

The stereo speakers are surprisingly good, producing clear and well-balanced audio. The earpiece doubles as a secondary speaker, making for a better stereo effect when watching videos or playing games. POCO also kept the infrared sensor, which is great if you like using your phone as a remote for TVs or other appliances.

Battery

Battery life is another strong point, thanks to the 6,000mAh battery. It easily lasts a full day, even with heavy use. When it’s time to charge, the 90W fast charging means you can go from 0 to 100% in under an hour (~45 minutes) —super convenient for busy days. Plug it in when driving to or from work, or use a modern portable battery and you’ll have no problem getting hours of extended usage out of the handset.

Conclusion

The POCO X7 Pro delivers a great mix of performance, design, and value. The AMOLED display is sharp and smooth, the processor is fast, and the battery holds up for extended use. The cameras, especially with OIS on the main sensor, make for a reliable photography experience. While expandable storage is missing and the software has a few minor snags, the overall package is hard to fault for the price. If you’re after a well-rounded mid-range smartphone, this one deserves serious consideration.

The main thing to note here is that the phone is not available in the US in any direct manner. You won’t find it at any of the carriers so you’ll have to do a little legwork if you’re hoping to grab one of these. It’s available at Amazon for $390-$415, depending on the color, and it will work with T-Mobile, Mint, and other GSM carriers. If it’s available in your market, or if you feel confident in purchasing independently, I definitely recommend looking into the POCO X7 Pro.

Journey Nova 3-in-1 Charging Station Review

The ecosystem that Apple has built has created a ton of accessories for that lineup. Charging stations are easy to find to fuel all your fruitful mobile devices like the Apple iPhone, Watch, and AirPods. Rarely, do you see one that really stands out in its overall design, but Journey has nailed uniqueness with the Nova 3-in-1 charging station.

Design

As mentioned, the first thing that simply pops opening the Nova is how I’ve never seen a design like this before. The casing is of premium materials with this angular, geometric look that immediately makes it stand out in a flooded market. The Nova easily folds into any material look you have going on in the room and looks like it belongs with your furniture.

My Sparkle Grey model, almost looks like a concrete art piece I already have lying around my office. The angles and soft curves form a platform for your MagSafe compatible devices on the top. Just below this is a “shelf” for your AirPods. Finally, around the back is a hideaway charger for the Apple Watch that you’d almost miss if you didn’t read the manual and box.

Finally, you have another hidden feature under the MagSafe mount. In the top of the AirPods cutout, or bottom of the MagSafe mount, you have a capacitive switch that turns on a soft white LED nightlight. It’s a feature I’d never have asked for, but love this additional functionality for something that seems destined for your nightstand.

Power and usage

The Nova is powered by USB-C and needs at least 20 Watts to push the full lineup of chargers. This allows for 5W on the AirPods and Watch, while recharging to the full Qi2/MagSafe standard 15 Watts to the iPhone. Tuned for Apple users, this makes for the perfect combination for someone fully invested in all three devices for better and some worse.

It’s intentionally designed for the Apple lineup, and limits those not in the ecosystem. It does a good job with charging my Pixel with a MagSafe case, and the Watch charger being concealed makes it pretty decent for most instances. My one grief is with the small size of the actual charging pad for earbuds. I get that it’s meant for AirPods, but if they’d have widened this a few more millimeters, it would have been able to charge so many other 3rd party options.

Final thoughts

Journey has quickly become one of my favorites in the Apple accessories marketplace. The Nova 3-in-1 charging station cements this and shows the company is serious to make its products both functional and trendy. If you have the need for a new bedside charger for the iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch, move it to the top of your list.

Pricing won’t break the bank, but is worth considering. Even though you can easily find options for under $50, I think the $140 price tag here is reasonable due to the design and functionality. You even have an additional wood grain finish in addition to our Sparkle Grey review sample. Hit the link below to snag your Nova now.

Ugreen Uno 100W Charger Review: An Ultimate Charging Companion

Being a solo traveler, I’ve often felt overwhelmed while charging my gear (smartphone, earbuds, headphones, smartwatch, and gimbals) separately with a single charger, which is not only very annoying but also quite cumbersome. However, Ugreen’s new Uno 100W 4-port GaN (gallium nitride) charger has changed the game for me.

I recently took the Uno 100W charger on my recent Andaman trip, and it completely changed the charging game for me. Ugreen’s new Uno 100W 4-port GaN charger allows me to charge up to four devices simultaneously with a maximum output of 100W. Unlike other chargers, the Uno has a small display on the front, showcasing several emoji faces, which makes it slightly different from the competitors.

Despite its cool appearance and charging versatility, the Uno has some imperfections. Read on to find out whether it is worthy of being a charming charging companion for your next trip.

Pros

  • 100W maximum output
  • Four ports, including USB-C and USB-A
  • Fun display that showcases different digital faces
  • Unique design

Cons

  • Display could be brighter
  • No cables included

Unboxing

Pricing and Availability

The Ugreen Uno is priced at $59.99 and is now available via Ugreen and Amazon in the US. If you don’t want a 100W power brick, Ugreen also offers smaller and cheaper 35W and 65W variants.

Unique Design and Fun Display with its charming expressions

The Ugreen Uno 100W inherits the same Uno series design, but the notable change with the new Uno is that it gets more powerful and has more ports compared to the previous Uno chargers. Unlike other chargers, the Ugreen Uno 100W GaN charger has a small display on the front that showcases several different digital faces while charging the devices.

During my testing, the charger’s emotive TFT display works really well. It shows five different status emojis, including three for charging, one for standby, and one for “fully charged.” No doubt, the charger looks super cute when expressing itself through emotive display. For example, the Uno charger displays a ‘cool’ emoji when a device is fully charged; that looks cute though. I appreciated Ugreen for adding this smart emoji feature.

Other design elements of the charger are actually good. The charger is quite compact, measuring 2.05 x 1.93 x 3.23 inches (HWT), and it easily fits in every backpack without taking up so much space. The placement of USB ports is very practical, which is on top of the charger. There’s also a headband on top of the ports with circular earcups on the sides, which mimics the look of headphones. Ugreen doesn’t offer foldable prongs; instead, the brand provides a pair of plastic shoes—or plug cover—where you can insert prongs into them.

To wrap up the design elements, the charger is rated for overcurrent, overload, overtemperature, and short circuit protections, which is great and gives consumers peace of mind while charging four devices at once.

GaN Tech and Portability

The Ugreen Uno 100W charger uses GaN Inifinity technology, which allows a power brick to run more efficiently while minimizing heat generation. The Uno offers a total of four ports—three USB-C and one USB-A—that deliver up to 100W of power at a time. Speaking about power distribution, the first two USB-C ports deliver 100W output each when used independently. However, if you’re using all of the ports at once, the power output changes to 45W, 30W, 7.5W, and 7.5W, respectively.

So, to test its charging performance, I charged my gear, including the iQoo 12 smartphone, remarkable 2 tablet, Denon PerL, and Xiaomi Band 9, at once. Surprisingly, the Uno efficiently fully charged all my devices in the expected timeframe of around one hour and 45 minutes. While charging, I did notice the power brick slightly gets warm, but that’s completely normal.

Weighing in at 265 grams, the Uno 100W GaN charger is slightly heavy compared to the other mainstream chargers, and you’ll feel it when holding it in hand. However, it’s compact, and one can easily carry it anywhere without any weight issues whatsoever.

What I didn’t like about the Ugreen Uno 100W GaN charger

First, Ugreen doesn’t offer any charging cables with the Uno 100W GaN charger, meaning you’ll need to purchase these cables separately. Second, the charger’s annoying plug cover; when the charger is in use, there’s no place to attach it to the charger, and you have no other option than to carry it with you every time.

Another thing is the Uno’s hefty weight, which will surely create problems if you have old and loose outlets at home. While I didn’t notice the fallout or loose issue during my testing period. It’s worth mentioning that the display of the charger isn’t super bright, and it might be hard to see the robot’s charming expressions from certain angles.

The major quibble is that it doesn’t have interchangeable prongs, which is very disappointing. And unfortunately, you can’t use it anywhere on the planet. This also means you must carry a separate international adapter (EU/AU/UK/US) while traveling.

Should you buy the Ugreen Uno 100W GaN charger?

You should buy it if…

  • You want a 100W output charger
  • You want a charger with at least three USB-C ports and one USB-A port
  •  You want a charger with a TFT smart display

You shouldn’t buy this if…

  • You want a super-fast charger
  • You want only USB-C ports
  • You are looking for a more affordable option

Final Thoughts

At $59.99, the Ugreen Uno is a fantastic multi-port super-fast charger that offers stellar performance, versatile charging options with three USB-C ports and one USB-A, a catchy small TFT display with several different charming faces, and budget value.

If you are looking for a wall charger with a maximum of 100W of output and four USB ports and are ready to make some trade-offs, then you can’t go wrong with the Ugreen Uno 100W GaN charger.
