ZTE announced their Boost Mobile debut with the ZTE Warp, launching November 2nd at $249.99 without a contract. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread device featured a 4.3-inch display, a 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, microSD expansion to 32GB (2GB card included), GPS, stereo Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It was the first Boost Mobile Android device to feature Boost Zone, a hub for account management and customer support.
Like other recent Boost Android handsets, the Warp included Mobile ID for downloading themed app, widget, ringtone, and wallpaper packs. Available plans included Boost’s $55 Android Monthly Unlimited with Shrinkage, dropping to as low as $40/month with consistent on-time payments.
