Whisker, a leader in connected pet care and maker of Litter-Robot, has launched its most advanced lineup of automatic litter boxes: Litter-Robot 5 Pro, Litter-Robot 5, and Litter-Robot EVO. This launch also includes new technologies aimed at improving pet care, such as PetTag and the Whisker+ membership.
These innovations are set to enhance tracking and understanding of pet behavior, made possible by data from over 2 million Litter-Robots sold globally.
Jacob Zuppke, CEO of Whisker, emphasized the company’s mission to improve pet life with these new products. He stated that the Litter-Robot 5 Pro and the expanded range do not just build on previous designs but redefine automated pet care. The vision includes a broader ecosystem for cat care that integrates waste, food, and water management, backed by innovation and data.
The new Litter-Robot lineup is now available for sale in the U. S. and features familiar qualities like automatic cleaning and odor control, along with new capabilities.
The Litter-Robot 5, priced at $799, is aimed at multi-cat households with its WasteID technology, which differentiates between waste types for better tracking and cleaning.
The Litter-Robot 5 Pro, costing $899, is the most advanced model and includes two AI-powered cameras for detailed tracking of cat behaviors and routines, all viewable through the Whisker app.
The Litter-Robot EVO, priced at $599, is designed for smaller spaces and is intended for homes with one to two cats, offering essential functionalities in a compact design.
In addition to these litter boxes, Whisker is introducing further connected care tools aimed at better monitoring and personalization of pet care. The Whisker+ Membership, available for $7.99 per month or $79.90 per year, provides enhanced insights into a cat’s daily activities and behaviors. It helps owners recognize patterns and monitor changes over time. The PetTag, available for $29, allows Pro users to provide individualized care using features like LostPet to aid in locating lost cats.
The new product lineup can be pre-ordered at www.whisker.com and www.litter-robot.com, with shipments set to start on November 3, 2025. Selected international markets will gain access in 2026, and customers can take advantage of discounts on launch bundles for a limited time.
