UGREEN has unveiled its most ambitious smart home ecosystem yet at CES 2026, introducing the NASync iDX Series network-attached storage systems that bring sophisticated AI capabilities directly to users’ homes without relying on cloud services. The announcement marks UGREEN’s evolution from accessories manufacturer to a comprehensive smart home solutions provider.
Local AI That Actually Makes Sense
The NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro represent a significant departure from traditional passive storage devices. Both models feature UGREEN’s new Local AI Engine, which processes all data on-device rather than sending personal information to external servers—a privacy-focused approach that addresses growing concerns about cloud-based AI services.

The AI capabilities go well beyond simple file storage. Universal Search allows users to find content by describing concepts or partial memories instead of hunting through folder structures. Need that presentation about quarterly sales? Just type the description, and the system delivers relevant results. The AI Album feature automatically identifies faces, objects, scenes, and text within images, making photo organization effortless with searches like “girl riding a bike” returning instant visual matches.
UGREEN’s Uliya AI Chat functions as a private knowledge assistant, capable of summarizing documents, generating notes, and answering questions about stored files entirely offline. Voice Memos adds another practical layer by transcribing, translating, and summarizing audio recordings on-device—particularly useful for meetings, interviews, or classroom notes.
Performance Hardware That Delivers

Both NASync iDX models pack serious computing power under the hood. The iDX6011 features an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor with options for 32GB or 64GB of LPDDR5x memory, while the Pro model steps up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H with 64GB of memory standard. Both systems support up to 196TB of storage through six SATA bays plus two NVMe slots.
Connectivity options include dual 10GbE networking that enables lightning-fast data transfers up to 20Gbps via aggregation, plus dual Thunderbolt 4 ports for versatile device connections. The iDX6011 Pro distinguishes itself with an OCuLink port that enables high-bandwidth connectivity for external GPUs, essentially transforming the NAS into a hybrid workstation for AI-intensive workflows and rendering tasks.
Expanding Beyond Storage
UGREEN is also introducing the SynCare Series, marking the company’s first venture into home security. The ecosystem includes AI-enhanced indoor cameras, weather-rated outdoor surveillance, and a video doorbell, all managed through the SynCare Smart Display D500 central hub. The security system features UltraColor Night Vision, cross-camera awareness, and encrypted local storage via UGREEN NASync systems, eliminating ongoing cloud fees.

The announcement also includes the Nexode Pro 300W GaN Desktop Charger, an eight-port charging station with intelligent power distribution. The unit features three 140W PD 3.1 ports for fast laptop charging, a dedicated 240W DC port for gaming laptops, and a 3-inch TFT display showing real-time charging status across five smart charging modes.
Accessible Pricing Structure
UGREEN has structured pricing to make these advanced systems accessible across different user segments. Pre-orders are available now through nas.ugreen.com with significant early-bird savings—up to $1,040 off MSRP with just a $30 deposit.
The entry-level iDX6011 with 32GB RAM starts at $999 (MSRP $1,699), while the 64GB version is priced at $1,199 (MSRP $1,999). The Pro model with 64GB RAM and OCuLink support is available for $1,559 (MSRP $2,599). A full Kickstarter campaign is planned for March, likely offering additional configurations and savings.
The SynCare Series is slated for the latter half of 2026, while the Nexode Pro Series will arrive around Q2 2026. More details about UGREEN’s expanding smart home ecosystem can be found at nas.ugreen.com and ugreen.com.
