Travel Light, Charge Heavy: Introducing the Zeus 280W Charger

Chargeasap, a Sydney-based consumer electronics brand, has announced the launch of the Zeus 280W USB-C GaN Charger. This groundbreaking device is the world’s first and smallest 280W charger, designed to meet the fast-paced and power-intensive needs of modern users. Available in black or white, the Zeus charger can be purchased from Amazon UK for £160, Chargeasap for $219, and will soon be available on Amazon US.

The Zeus 280W USB-C GaN Charger delivers an impressive total maximum output of 280W. With four USB ports (three USB-C and one USB-A), it replaces the need for multiple chargers. This single unit can power a 16″ MacBook Pro (or any USB-C laptop), an iPad Pro (or any tablet), an iPhone (or any Android device), and even AirPods or a watch all at once.

For individual port outputs, the Zeus charger offers:

  • USB-C1: 140W
  • USB-C2: 140W
  • USB-C3: 100W
  • USB-A: 65W

This allows the charger to support two USB-C ports delivering up to 140W each, ideal for the latest MacBook Pro 16” models. It can even handle charging three MacBooks simultaneously.

The Zeus charger is equipped with an OLED screen that displays real-time charging volts and amps, making it easy for users to monitor the charging status. Despite its high power, the Zeus is lightweight at only 380g (0.83lb), significantly lighter than competitors. The charger uses Navitas GaNFast NV6127 Power IC technology, featuring four of these advanced chips for enhanced efficiency and faster charging in a compact design.

Perfect for global travelers, the Zeus charger includes patent-pending, 2-way foldable built-in US prongs and comes with three interchangeable travel adapters (EU, AU, UK). An additional adapter allowing connection via a C7 cable will be available within the next two months, offering even greater flexibility.
