Samsung has officially unveiled the latest additions to its Galaxy A series: the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G. These new models bring advanced AI capabilities, improved durability, and long-term software support to the mid-range segment, making premium features more accessible to a wider audience.
AI-Driven Features Redefine the Galaxy A Experience
For the first time, Samsung is introducing Awesome Intelligence to the Galaxy A series, enhancing search, creativity, and usability with AI-powered tools.
One of the standout features is Circle to Search, which allows users to search for information directly from their phone’s screen with a simple gesture. With the latest update, this feature can now recognize phone numbers, email addresses, and URLs, streamlining navigation and interactions. Users can also identify songs playing nearby by long-pressing the navigation bar and tapping the music button.

The camera experience has been elevated with AI-powered enhancements, including a 50MP main camera across all three models. The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G take it further with 10-bit HDR front camera recording and Best Face, a tool that ensures group photos capture everyone at their best. Object Eraser also allows users to remove unwanted elements from photos with just a few taps.
Built for Longevity and Performance
Samsung is extending its commitment to long-term software support, offering up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates. This ensures users can enjoy a smooth experience for years without worrying about outdated software.

The Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a brightness of up to 1200 nits, providing a vivid and immersive viewing experience. Both models also introduce stereo speakers for improved audio quality.
Battery life remains a strong point, with a 5,000mAh battery across all models. The A56 5G and A36 5G support 45W Super Fast Charging, reducing downtime and keeping users connected for longer. Performance is further boosted with the Exynos 1580 chipset in the Galaxy A56 5G and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 Mobile Platform in the Galaxy A36 5G.
Durability and Security Take Center Stage
For the first time, the Galaxy A26 5G joins the A56 5G and A36 5G with an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, ensuring protection against everyday hazards. A reinforced Corning Gorilla Glass cover adds durability, helping to prevent scratches and cracks.
Security is another priority, with Samsung Knox Vault offering advanced protection for personal data. One UI 7 introduces new privacy features, including Theft Detection Mode and enhanced security settings, giving users greater control over their information.
