HMD Amped Buds Wireless Earbuds with a Built-in Power Bank

Tech company Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has unveiled Amped Buds, the first wireless earbuds featuring a 1600mAh reverse wireless charging case, capable of powering up smartphones while delivering high-fidelity sound. Designed for music lovers who don’t want to compromise on battery life, Amped Buds doubles as a portable charger, ensuring users never run out of power—or their favorite playlist.

Sound Meets Power

Amped Buds blend premium audio performance with practical charging solutions. The case’s 1600mAh battery offers up to 95 hours of total playback and can magnetically charge Qi2-compatible smartphones, including the HMD Skyline and select Apple iPhone models. Users can also opt for wired charging via USB-C, making it a flexible option for topping up devices on the go.

Designed for Every Style

HMD has crafted Amped Buds with sleek aluminum styling, a matte finish, and a thin, lightweight design—just 80g and 14mm thick. Available in Black, Cyan, and Pink, the earbuds and case deliver both form and function, with IPX4 splash resistance on the case and IP54 protection on the buds, making them gym- and weather-ready.

Engineered for Exceptional Audio

Amped Buds pack a precision-tuned 10mm driver, delivering rich bass and crisp clarity, while an innovative vent system minimizes distortion. Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) ensure immersive audio and clear calls, supported by triple-microphone arrays on each bud.

For added personalization, users can tweak their listening experience using a customizable EQ via the Amped Buds app (available on Android and iOS). Google Fast Pair ensures quick and seamless device connections, while multipoint pairing allows easy switching between two devices—perfect for users balancing work and entertainment.

Long-Lasting Battery and Fast Charging

Each earbud delivers up to 8 hours of playback (or 4 hours with ANC on), and with the case’s massive 1600mAh capacity, listeners get up to 95 hours of total usage. When power is running low, the Amped Buds case can provide a 20% boost to an iPhone 16 battery wirelessly or 24% when plugged in, making it a practical emergency power source.

A Smart Audio-Accessory Combo

Amped Buds cater to those who want premium sound, reliable battery life, and a stylish, compact design. Whether for travel, workouts, or daily commutes, HMD’s latest innovation ensures users stay charged up and tuned in.

Amped Buds are set to launch soon, with more details on availability and pricing expected in the coming weeks.
