Pawport Smart Pet Door Launches: Secure, App-Enabled Access for Pets

Phoenix-based pet-tech startup, Pawport has unveiled its highly anticipated Smart Pet Door, now available for purchase.

This innovative device retrofits over existing pet doors in record time. It transforms into app-controlled smart system that integrate effortlessly with smart homes.

The door, made from thick, powder-coated steel and aircraft-grade aluminum, features two solid steel deadbolts that lock into a high-strength frame. It stands staunchly against pests, intruders, and drafts, offering superior protection compared to traditional pet doors.

Easy Installation and Pet Recognition

The Smart Pet Door fits virtually any existing pet door or installs into walls, doors, or glass panels via complete systems. Pet owners can follow simple instructions to install the door.

Pets wear a lightweight, waterproof Smart Pet Tag on their collar, which detects proximity and motion to unlock the door automatically.

This ensures only authorized pets can pass, with support for multiple animals across three sizes for any height or weight.

Pawport blends tech, style, and security, as as a top executive noted earlier about the product buyer feedback: “The experience at CES was just tremendous… unbelievably overwhelming response.”

Furthermore, the Pawport app serves as the control hub, enabling remote access, curfew scheduling, activity tracking, and voice commands via Alexa, Siri, or Google. With this app, users gain detailed insights like outdoor session durations, total exits, and rest patterns.

Stylish Designs for Every Home

Pawport’s 14 finishes span three collections: the Designer Series in premium, scratch-resistant neutrals and colors; and the Signature Series with textured, wood-grain facades in various tones.

Built-in customizable LED lights let owners select from millions of colors and brightness levels, programmable via the app. This device is definitely a step ahead of traditional pet doors.

Advanced Safety and Smart Features

Safety comes first for the home owner. Sensitivity sensors prevent pinching, while child-proof mode disables manual controls.

Pet curfew and weather detection auto-lock during rain or lightning. Power options are adequate, as these include a concealed rechargeable battery for outages, AC via USB-C, or an optional solar panel for extended life.

New Accessories Enhance the Ecosystem

The new device is praised for the following additional features:

  • Premium Adjustable Collar: High-strength nylon with aluminum hardware, coordinating colors for optimal tag placement and pet comfort.
  • PawMat: Durable rubber-and-turf mat to clean paws and withstand harsh weather.
  • Exterior Ramp: Adjustable for easy access.

These additions create a cohesive, durable setup that elevates the pet entryway.

Pawport redefines pet doors by blending cutting-edge technology with aesthetic appeal, giving owners peace of mind without compromising home design.

Availability and Pricing

A multiple “Best of CES” award winner, Pawport’s Smart Pet Door promises unmatched security and style. The device is available now with price starting at $699 on Pawport’s official online store.
