Marantz has officially unveiled the CINEMA Series 2, marking the next step for its celebrated home theater receiver family. Building on over seven decades of audio innovation, the updated collection features four new models: the flag-bearer CINEMA 50 Series 2, the versatile CINEMA 60 Series 2, the Europe-exclusive CINEMA 60 DAB Series 2, and the compact CINEMA 70s Series 2.

The Series 2 line retains Marantz’s signature design language—complete with copper hardware details—while introducing key upgrades across signal processing, acoustic calibration, custom integration tools, and high-frame-rate gaming.

Every model in the CINEMA Series 2 lineup shifts to an upgraded 32-bit, eight-channel DAC architecture. By running multi-channel conversion simultaneously across all outputs, the design minimizes timing jitter, simplifies internal signal paths, and heightens overall soundstage separation and dynamic range. Every unit continues to be hand-tuned by the Marantz Sound Master.

Expanded Dirac Live Integration: Dirac Live Room Correction capability moves beyond the top tier. The CINEMA 60, 60 DAB, and slimline 70s Series 2 now support optional Dirac Live upgrades. The flagship CINEMA 50 Series 2 retains full compatibility with the complete Dirac ecosystem, including Bass Control and Active Room Treatment (ART).
Dolby Atmos Channel Expander (CINEMA 50 Series 2): Maximizes spatial immersion by redistributing channel-based Dolby Atmos content across every available speaker in the array.
