JMGO Targets Gamers, Movie Fans With Ultra-Bright 4K 120Hz Triple-Laser Projectors

JMGO Targets Gamers, Movie Fans With Ultra-Bright 4K 120Hz Triple-Laser Projectors

JMGO is taking the wraps off its latest high-end projection technology at IFA 2026 in Berlin, introducing the IRIS Series to international audiences. The new lineup is positioned as the world’s first 4K@120Hz smart projector series, combining high refresh rates with powerful brightness, advanced contrast technology and flexible installation features.

Leading the range is the JMGO IRIS Ultra Max, while the standard IRIS Ultra offers many of the same technologies at a more accessible price point.

JMGO Brings 4K 120Hz Projection to Global Buyers

The IRIS Series follows JMGO’s successful launch of its 4K@120Hz projector in China earlier this year. The company says more than 5,000 units were sold within three months, generating interest from consumers beyond the Chinese market.

That response has encouraged JMGO to expand its high-refresh projection technology internationally, with the IRIS lineup making its global debut at IFA 2026.

4K at 120Hz Targets Smoother Motion

At the heart of the IRIS Series is native 4K resolution combined with a 120Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smoother motion while retaining detailed images.

JMGO uses a dual-DLP architecture alongside its HyperPulse Actuator, which operates at up to 480 shifts per second. The combination is designed to maintain 4K image detail while supporting high-refresh-rate content.

For gamers, VRR and ALLM support enables compatible games to run at up to 120 frames per second, potentially providing faster response times and smoother gameplay.

The projectors also support Dolby Vision at 4K@120Hz, while MEMC technology helps improve clarity during fast-moving movie scenes, sporting events and camera movements.

Triple-Laser Technology Delivers High Brightness

The IRIS Series uses JMGO’s MALC 6.0 Triple-Laser Engine to target cinema-style image quality across brightness, contrast and color reproduction.

The flagship IRIS Ultra Max delivers up to 6,500 ISO lumens and a claimed 10,000:1 native contrast ratio. The IRIS Ultra, meanwhile, reaches 4,500 ISO lumens and a 7,000:1 native contrast ratio.

These brightness levels are designed to make the projectors suitable for viewing in rooms where ambient light could otherwise reduce picture quality.

Dual-Iris System Improves Dark-Scene Detail

Both models feature a Dual-Iris system with a 15-blade configuration, designed to improve stray-light suppression and strengthen contrast.

The iris provides six adjustment levels, allowing the projector to adapt its brightness and contrast depending on the content being viewed and the surrounding environment.

JMGO’s AI DBL technology further analyzes different areas of each frame to enhance detail in darker scenes while maintaining natural-looking skin tones and facial textures.

Wide Color Coverage for More Accurate Images

Color reproduction is another focus of the new projectors. Both IRIS models cover approximately 110 percent of the BT.2020 color gamut and are rated at around ΔE 0.7 color accuracy.

The combination of wide color coverage and low color deviation is designed to produce vivid images while keeping colors closer to their intended appearance.

Hardware-level Anti-RBE technology is also included to reduce visible rainbow artifacts, particularly for viewers who are sensitive to the effect. JMGO says the system is designed to improve viewing comfort without increasing operating noise.

Flexible Installation With Advanced Optics

The flagship IRIS Ultra Max offers considerable flexibility when positioning the projector. Its 3-in-1 optical system combines a 0.88–1.7:1 optical zoom, four-way lens shift and an AI-powered gimbal.

The lens-shift system supports vertical adjustment of up to ±130 percent and horizontal adjustment of up to ±53 percent, allowing users to reposition the image without relying solely on digital correction.

The AI-powered gimbal supports 360-degree horizontal movement and 150-degree tilting, giving homeowners additional freedom when choosing where to project.

AI Features Simplify Screen Setup

JMGO has also incorporated AI-assisted installation tools into the IRIS Ultra Max. AI Screen Fitting automatically adjusts the projected image to match the screen, while AI Spatial Image Memory can remember different projection positions and associated applications.

This could be particularly useful in homes where the projector is used against different walls or in multiple viewing environments.

The standard IRIS Ultra retains the optical zoom and four-way lens-shift functionality, giving buyers a similarly flexible installation experience without all of the flagship model’s additional positioning features.

Availability and Price

Pre-orders for the JMGO IRIS Series begin September 4, 2026, coinciding with the lineup’s global debut at IFA 2026. JMGO says early buyers will have access to exclusive launch pricing, along with model-specific accessories and screen offers.

Pre-ordered units are scheduled to begin shipping on October 19, 2026. JMGO has not specified the standard retail prices in the supplied announcement, with full pricing and promotional details expected to be published through the company’s website.
