Vivo’s gaming-focused sub-brand iQOO unveiled its latest budget smartphone called the iQOO Z9 Lite 5G in the global as well as Indian markets. iQOO packs decent features into the Z9 Lite such as dual cameras, Dimensity 6300 chipset, a massive 5,000mAh battery, and much more, making it a great smartphone at this price point.
The iQOO Z9 Lite has a 6.56-inch HD+ display with 840 nits of peak brightness and 90Hz refresh rate support that ensures a smoother scrolling experience. It comes with an attractive back design, made of hard plastic that easily withstands normal drops.
Under the hood, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimesity 6300 processor paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is further expandable up to 1TB via micro-SD card. Additionally, you get a 6GB virtual RAM which further enhances the phone’s performance while gaming.
You get a massive 5,000mAh battery cell in the iQOO Z9 Lite smartphone with 15W charging support. The device runs on Android 14 based on Funtouch OS 14 out of the box, iQOO promises two major Android updates (up to Android 16) and three years of security patches, which is something we don’t see usually in all the phones at this price range.
For lenses, the features a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary camera joined by a 2MP depth sensor. There’s an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. Other features of the iQOO Z9 Lite include IP64 certification, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The iQOO Z9 Lite retails at INR 10,499 ($125) for the 4GB/128GB version, while the 6GB/128GB variant costs INR 11,499 ($140). iQOO offers two beautiful color options for the Z9 Lite: Aqua Flow and Mocha Brown. Open sales will begin from July 20th via iQOO’s official website and other authorized retailers such as Amazon.
