Infinix Note 40 5G brings wireless charging and a super competitive price

Infinix has unveiled a new member in the Note 40 series in India- the Infinix Note 40 5G. The smartphone brings an impressive set of features at super-competitive pricing. It’s the first budget-range smartphone that comes with wireless charging support. Let’s take a look at specifications and pricing.

The Infinix Note 40 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1300 nits of peak brightness. It has IP53 water and dust resistance, protecting it from dust and water splashes.

For lenses, the handset features a 108MP primary camera with OIS support paired with 2MP macro and depth cameras. There is a 32MP shooter on the front for capturing stunning selfies and video chats with up to 2K video recording capabilities.

Infinix Note 40 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 expandable storage. It runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. Infinix also incorporated AI enhancements in the Note 40 5G such as Active Halo AI lighting. The smartphone boasts a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Interestingly, it also has Infinix’s 15W wireless Mag charge and reverse wireless charging support.

The Note 40 5G starts at Rs 19,999 (~$240) for the sole 8GB + 256GB variant. It comes in two beautiful color options – Titan Gold and Obsidian Black. Open sales will begin on 26th June via Flipkart and other authorized retailers.
