HTC unveiled the Desire HD at a press event in London. Looking very much like a beefed-up EVO 4G with Sense UI, the Desire HD ran Android 2.2 and packed a 1GHz processor, 768MB RAM, 1.5GB internal storage, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 4.3-inch SLCD touchscreen. It was capable of 720p HD video recording and offered Dolby Mobile and SRS surround sound alongside DLNA connectivity. Connectivity specs included WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, micro-USB, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
