GoveeLife recently introduced the Smart Countertop Ice Maker 2 Pro, a connected countertop appliance designed to make bullet ice quickly while reducing the amount of hands-on attention needed throughout the day. Built for everything from morning iced coffee to backyard gatherings and home bars, the new model combines fast ice production, app controls, and a larger water capacity in a compact kitchen-friendly design.

One of the headline features is speed. GoveeLife says the Smart Countertop Ice Maker 2 Pro can produce its first batch of bullet ice in as little as three minutes, making it easier to cool down a drink without waiting around for the freezer to catch up.
The company credits its patented Pre-cooling Management System, which cools water to 41°F before each production cycle, for helping reduce the time needed to begin making ice. GoveeLife has paired that with a Dynamic Timing Algorithm that monitors both water and room temperature, automatically adjusting each cycle to produce more consistent ice.
That focus on consistency isn’t just about appearances. Uniform bullet ice is less likely to crack or melt quickly, helping keep iced coffee and other beverages colder with less dilution. Nobody wants their cold brew turning into lightly coffee-flavored water before lunch.

For households that go through plenty of ice, the Smart Countertop Ice Maker 2 Pro is rated to produce up to 47 pounds of ice per day. According to GoveeLife, that’s enough for roughly 120 servings of 16-ounce iced beverages.
Its dual-tank design combines a 1.14-gallon side reservoir with a 0.42-gallon internal tank, allowing the machine to operate for up to six hours from a single fill while producing about 13 pounds of ice during that period.
Users can choose from three ice sizes depending on the drink. Smaller cubes are intended for espresso drinks and iced coffee, medium ice works for everyday beverages, and larger bullet ice is geared toward cocktails or drinks meant to stay cold longer.
Smart Features Reduce Daily Maintenance
Like many recent GoveeLife appliances, the ice maker includes smart connectivity through the Govee Home app. Owners can remotely start ice production, create schedules, monitor real-time status, initiate the self-cleaning cycle, and review ice production history from their smartphone.
Support for Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant adds voice control, making it possible to start making ice without pressing a button.
The appliance is designed to keep ice available between uses, thanks to a high-density foam-insulated ice basket that GoveeLife says limits melt loss to less than 2.2% during the first hour. That helps reduce the need to immediately start another production cycle after opening the lid.
