GameSir Introduces Cyclone 2 Wireless Controller

GameSir has launched a new contender in the gaming world—the Cyclone 2 Wireless Controller. This robust device is designed for gamers across multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, iOS, and Steam. With a price tag of $49.99/£49.99 for the standalone version and $55.99/£55.99 when bundled with a charging dock, it’s already available on Amazon and the GameSir website, in the striking colors of Shadow Black and Phantom White.

At its core, the Cyclone 2 features the innovative Mag-Res™ TMR Sticks that marry traditional potentiometer responsiveness with the reliability of Hall Effect technology. This fusion provides precise control, ensuring that gamers remain at their peak performance, even during marathon sessions. For those who thrive in competitive scenarios, a Hair Trigger Mode allows for hair-trigger responsive gameplay during those critical moments when every millisecond counts.

The analog triggers don’t just stop at precision; they’re specially designed for smooth linear inputs, making them perfect for racing games or platformers. When it’s time for fiery FPS action, flipping a switch transforms the triggers into a Micro Switch Hair Trigger Mode, providing the speed and response needed for intense firefights.

GameSir ensured connecting the Cyclone 2 is a breeze, offering tri-mode connectivity through Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless (with an included dongle), and USB-C wired options. This means gamers can dive into action whether they are stretched out on a couch with a smartphone or intensely gaming on a desktop setup. Just plug in, power up, and go!

To add to its good looks and functionality, the controller includes a built-in 6-axis gyroscope, enhancing motion controls—ideal for action-packed titles on the Nintendo Switch, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Splatoon.

For those who appreciate a responsive feel, the Cyclone 2’s micro switch ABXY buttons and tactile D-pad offer crisp and snappy feedback, rated for up to five million presses. With customizable options like assignable back buttons and a Turbo function, gamers can tailor the controller to fit their style perfectly.

The aesthetic aspect doesn’t take a backseat either, as players can enjoy customizable RGB strips and a backlit Home button, all
manageable through GameSir’s free configuration software, which allows for button mapping and profile saving for various platforms.

With an eye for immersive experiences, the Cyclone 2 incorporates dual asymmetric motors delivering nuanced haptic feedback. Whether it’s the gentle kick of a sniper rifle shot or the roar of tires on rugged terrain, the vibrations dynamically match the action on screen.

Designed for comfort during long gameplay sessions, the Cyclone 2 holds an 860mAh battery, ensuring ample playtime before needing a charge. Its compact dimensions and lightweight structure make it a friendly companion for gamers who want to indulge in extended play. The bundled charging dock, included in the higher-priced version, adds convenience for players looking to keep their gaming area tidy.
