ELEGOO Teams Up with emoji Brand for First Co-Branded 3D Printer

ELEGOO has announced a new partnership with the emoji brand, introducing what the companies describe as the world’s first co-branded 3D printer. The collaboration brings together consumer 3D printing and one of the most recognizable forms of digital communication, with a product designed to turn familiar digital icons into physical creations.

The centerpiece of the partnership is the ELEGOO × emoji Centauri Carbon 2 Combo, a special edition version of ELEGOO’s flagship consumer 3D printer. Marketed under the tagline “Your Vibe, Now in 3D,” the printer aims to blend maker technology with personal expression.

A Familiar Printer with a New Personality

The special edition model features a silver-white exterior accented with official emoji brand visuals. Beyond the hardware design, ELEGOO has customized the printer’s user interface with emoji-themed layouts and branding elements.

One of the more distinctive additions is a collection of official emoji brand 3D G-code model files. These ready-to-print files allow users to create physical versions of iconic emoji designs without needing to model them from scratch. For newcomers to 3D printing, that could provide a simple starting point that feels more approachable than designing a project from a blank canvas.

The Centauri Carbon 2 Combo remains rooted in the same consumer-focused 3D printing category that has become increasingly popular among hobbyists, makers, educators, and creative professionals. The emoji partnership gives the machine a lifestyle-oriented twist that leans into personalization and fun.

Bringing Digital Expression Into the Real World

According to ELEGOO co-founder and vice president Kevin Wang, the collaboration reflects a shared focus on creativity and accessibility.

“The emoji brand has always represented emotions and connection, while ELEGOO stands for empowering creativity through technology,” Wang said. “This partnership reflects our shared belief that self-expression should be joyful, simple and accessible to everyone.”

Marco Husges, CEO and founder of the emoji company, described the project as a milestone for both brands and pointed to the growing role of 3D printing outside traditional maker communities.

“Together, we’re bringing digital self-expression into the physical world in a fun, creative and completely new way,” Husges said. “This partnership highlights how 3D printing is evolving beyond traditional maker spaces and becoming part of everyday lifestyle technology.”

Availability

The ELEGOO × emoji Centauri Carbon 2 Combo is available through ELEGOO. Pricing starts at $489 for the base unit with various combo packages offered as well.

The release marks an unusual crossover between consumer technology and digital culture. For anyone who has ever replied to a message with a smiling face, thumbs-up, or laughing emoji, ELEGOO’s latest printer offers a way to move those tiny digital expressions from a screen to a shelf.
