Chamelo Unveils Tint-Changing Snow Goggles and Blue Light Blocking Lenses at CES 2026

Chamelo is expanding its smart eyewear portfolio with two innovative products that tackle different aspects of adaptive vision technology. The company is introducing Aroza, its first tint-changing snow goggles, alongside by O Lens, a blue light blocking system developed in partnership with actor Omari Hardwick.

Aroza Brings Smart Vision to the Slopes

Chamelo’s entry into winter sports addresses a common frustration for skiers and snowboarders: constantly swapping lenses based on changing mountain conditions. The Aroza goggles feature a spherical lens design that automatically cycles between three VLT (Visible Light Transmission) levels—45%, 28%, and 13%—optimizing visibility across flat light, bright sun, and storm conditions.

The goggles are built for serious mountain use with double-layer anti-fog construction, triple-layer face foam, and cold-weather durability rated down to -30°C. Chamelo engineered the Aroza to deliver 50 hours of tint adjustment per charge, ensuring all-day performance even during extended backcountry adventures. The ultra-wide field of view maintains peripheral awareness crucial for mountain safety while eliminating the need to carry multiple lens sets.

by O Lens Targets Circadian Health

The by O Lens represents Chamelo’s move into wellness-focused eyewear, developed through collaboration with actor and creator Omari Hardwick. These adaptive lenses are designed to support natural circadian rhythms by replacing the multiple tinted glasses that health-conscious users typically cycle through during the day.

A simple tap transitions the lenses through four blue-light blocking states, ranging from 55% to 95% blocking capability. This progression allows wearers to maintain alertness during daylight hours, ease into evening relaxation, and protect melatonin production before sleep. Built on Chamelo’s rimless Aura platform, the by O delivers 47 hours of color control along with UV400 protection.

“By O was born from my own search for balance—performance, recovery, and better sleep. I used to carry three different pairs of glasses throughout my day. Now, one frame does it all,” Hardwick explained.

Expanding Smart Eyewear Ecosystem

Beyond these flagship launches, Chamelo is showcasing an expanded lineup that spans sports, lifestyle, and fashion categories. The brand’s newest releases build on its signature liquid-crystal technologies, offering solutions for athletes and fashion-conscious consumers alike.

The sports category includes the Chamelo Golf Shield ($229), engineered specifically for course visibility and contrast enhancement, and the Music Shield ($249), which combines tint-adjustable lenses with integrated open-ear audio for runners and cyclists.

Chamelo’s fashion expansion introduces several new Aura variants, including Aura Eternal—a luxury option that embeds fashion diamonds directly into color-changing lenses, starting at $585. The Infinity ($299) merges street-inspired design with dual control systems for both tint and audio functionality. The Zurix ($199) represents Chamelo’s sleekest design yet, integrating all electronics directly into the frame structure for a minimalist aesthetic.
