BLUETTI is expanding its presence in the outdoor adventure space through a new partnership with the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival. The clean energy brand has officially joined the 51st annual festival as an official major partner while also supporting the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour across North America.
The partnership brings portable power technology into one of the world’s most recognized celebrations of mountain culture, outdoor exploration, and adventure filmmaking. Through its Power the Story Beyond the Screen initiative, BLUETTI aims to support the creators and adventurers who capture stories in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
An Energy Partner for Outdoor Creators
Outdoor filmmaking often requires more than cameras and creative vision. Filmmakers working in remote locations also need reliable power for camera batteries, drones, laptops, lighting equipment, and other essential gear.
Traditional power sources aren’t always available during extended expeditions or backcountry shoots. Portable power stations and solar panels offer an alternative, allowing creators to store and generate electricity while spending time away from the grid.
That’s where BLUETTI sees a natural connection with the Banff Centre community. Its portable energy solutions are designed to support off-grid activities, from outdoor photography and filmmaking to camping, overlanding, and extended adventures.
BLUETTI Marketing Director James Ray said the partnership recognizes the people who push their limits in unpredictable environments to bring remarkable stories to audiences around the world.
BLUETTI to Host an Interactive Energy Hub at Banff
The partnership will have a physical presence at the 51st Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, taking place November 6–8.
BLUETTI will host an interactive Marketplace booth and Energy Hub on the first floor of the Banff Centre’s Kinnear Centre. Visitors can explore the brand’s latest Elite Lineup through live product demonstrations and expert walkthroughs.
The Energy Hub will also provide attendees with a convenient place to stay powered up throughout the festival.
Rather than simply displaying products, the experience will give visitors a closer look at how portable energy solutions fit into real-world outdoor scenarios. From keeping essential electronics charged to supporting creative equipment in remote locations, the demonstrations will highlight practical applications of portable power.
The Partnership Continues Across North America
The collaboration extends beyond the three-day festival.
Starting in December 2026, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will bring a selection of films to theaters and venues throughout the United States and Canada. The tour gives audiences outside Banff an opportunity to experience stories centered on mountain sports, exploration, environmental issues, and outdoor culture.
BLUETTI’s partnership will continue alongside the tour, connecting the brand with a wider community of filmmakers, travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
For those planning extended outdoor trips, BLUETTI portable power stations can be paired with portable solar panels to provide a flexible off-grid energy setup. This combination can help keep cameras, mobile devices, and other compatible equipment running when access to conventional electricity is limited.
Supporting the Stories Behind the Screen
Founded in 1976, the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival has spent five decades showcasing adventure films and stories that celebrate the outdoors. Its annual festival and international tour have become important gathering points for people passionate about exploration and mountain culture.
For BLUETTI, the partnership represents an opportunity to connect its clean energy technology with a community that values mobility, independence, and time spent outdoors.
Through its Power the Story Beyond the Screen initiative, the company is looking beyond the equipment itself and focusing on the people who use it to document and share their adventures.
As the 51st festival gets underway and the World Tour prepares to travel across North America, BLUETTI will be bringing its portable energy solutions to more of the people who take outdoor storytelling beyond the screen.
