Amazon finally revived its useful Echo Spot smart alarm clock with a new refreshing design, enhanced privacy features, Alexa voice assistant, and much more. The latest addition to Amazon’s lineup of Alex-enabled devices: the revamped Echo Spot comes at an affordable price point. It is available in new refreshing color options including Black, Glacier, White, and Ocean Blue.
The Echo Spot has a small semi-spherical shape dynamic display that shows a variety of details including time, weather updates, and song titles. It comes with a range of custom-designed clock faces and fun colors. You can also customize Echo Spot’s display with six color options including orange, violet, magenta, lime, teal, and blue to fit the aesthetic of your bedroom.
The top half of the smart alarm clock features a customizable display, whereas the bottom half has a full-fledged 1.73-inch front-firing direction speaker that offers vibrant sound with clear vocals and deep bass. The smart alarm clock also provides a beautiful color visual animation when you play the tracks with on-screen track controls.

The device has Alexa voice assistant support which means you can request Alexa anything from weather updates to playing music, setting a reminder or alarm, and much more. The interesting thing is that Amazon ditched a camera on the latest Echo Spot which prioritizes privacy. You get a hardware button on top of the Echo Spot to mute the microphone and a volume rocker to adjust volume levels. The device also supports voice calls.
The Alexa-enabled Amazon Echo Spot retails at $79.99, but Prime members can get it for just $44.99 through Amazon on July 17.
