7 phones with 6GB of RAM for the wealthy and the budget-oriented

0

Even if 4GB of RAM is enough for a phone to run smoothly in most cases, there are some users who are looking to have more RAM storage on board in order to ensure their handset is capable of handling any task without an issue. While the era of 8GB of RAM smartphones has already begun, 6GB of RAM products are more common, which means you have more options to choose from.

In what follows we’ve assembled a list of 6GB smartphones for all you power users looking to purchase a Herculean handset this autumn.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

Samsung previously launched a variant of the Galaxy S8+ with 6GB of RAM in select markets in Asia, but with the Galaxy Note 8, it is offering 6GB of RAM on a more global scale.

The flagship arrives with a 6.3-inch “InfinityDisplay” with 2,960 x 1,440 resolution and 18:5:9 aspect ratio. It includes either a Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 processor – depending on the market – and obviously takes advantage of the iconic S Pen.

The phablet is available with major carriers in the US, but be warned that it features a monstrous price-tag of $900+.

A Verizon, exclusive the ASUS ZenFone AR also has an 8GB of RAM version, but Big Red (currently) offers it only with 6GB on board. The ASUS ZenFone AR is special because it incorporates Google’s now rebranded Tango platform.

Project Tango is an augmented reality technology which relies on three separate cameras (one for depth sensing, one for motion tracking and a standard 23-megapixel camera) to project 3D images on the screen. Since the ASUS ZenFone AR’s launch, Google announced ARCore, a new platform which brings AR capabilities the company developed through Tango, to phones running Android 7.0 Nougat or higher, without the need for special hardware.

Google Pixel 2 XL leaks in new photo showing redesigned launcher

0

We’re only about 24 hours away from the official unveiling of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL but that doesn’t mean the leaks stop coming.

This time Evan Blass has taken to twitter to reveal a rendering that pretty much confirms what we already suspected about the device and shows off the Pixel 2 XL in all its glory.

We’ve previously seen the back of the Pixel 2 and we pretty much knew the specs already but this latest leak confirms what the device will look like.

The Pixel 2 XL render is far from the bezel-less display we were hoping for to challenge the design of devices like the Note 8 and Essential Phone, but Google looks to have found a good balance in order to retain the stereo speakers on the front.

Other details such as the lack of a headphone jack, unfortunately, cannot be confirmed or denied from the render. The power button and volume rocker stay exactly where you’d expect and we see some rounding to the corners of the display, which is a nice touch.

Of most note in the render is the new Pixel Launcher that shows Google has some changes in store for us. The Google Search bar now has a new place on the home screen and there seems to now be a reminder widget with the weather underneath. I quite like this look but I can see how some people may prefer the Search bar in its old location.

Nevertheless, it could just be the rendering that makes things look a little different and Google could have changed things last minute. Only time will tell – be sure to check back for all the latest news about the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL at the Google event.

The following are the distinctive features of the bracelet:

  • Gold and silver coated
  • All ages represented
  • Attire matching
  • Religion and traditional matches
  • Beaded

Some of the primary functions of these bracelets include:

Sending love letters. One can send a love message to his/her partner, and its reflection is seen in the bracelet. The bracelet can vibrate or flash to convey the arrival of the message. Secret love videos and audios can also be transferred from one partner to the other. On arrival into one’s phone, the message is detected and displayed by the bracelet. Innermost feelings and sweet words can also be expressed and detected by the receiver through a tap on the bracelet. Similarly, partners can count the number of years they have been together by use of an app installed on the phone and modeled to reflect messages through the high-tech bracelet.

Users can also set the jewelry to vibrate or flicker whenever the phone calls. These reminder settings are user-defined about what one wants or where one is at the moment.

Message announcement is also being made on arrival through the bracelet. Irrespective of whether it is the usual SMS, social media notifications or alert messages all of them can be conveyed provided the user designs so.

Whenever one moves to a distance more than ten meters from the personal phone the jewelry alerts user. The range signal is done because the Bluetooth connectivity is designed in that it can make coverage of only 10 meters. The connectivity mostly works for open areas.

The smart jewelry is a form of entertainment in that it can be used to play games through the internet, highlight colorful personality, self-timer moments and enjoyable word exchange between lovers.

The sending of SOS is also enabled. A gem is available on the smart jewelry to allow vibration or flickering whenever an SOS code creation is allowed.

The company’s recent trend in the bracelets is the innovation of high-tech “smart bracelets” that are for both men and women. It specializes in wholesome when it comes to fashion, gender, traditional print, occupation, country’s match and user age.  Online shopping and deliveries are available whenever a customer orders any product.  These products are currently taking a position in the global market.

ZeroLemon intros Samsung Galaxy Note 8 case for double the battery life

0

Despite being an impressive phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 does not take advantage of an impressive battery.

The device relies on a battery of 3,300 mAh capacity (smaller than its predecessor) which might prove insufficient for those who are constantly on their phone. Fortunately, case manufacturer ZeroLemon wants to help you cope with this shortcoming, so it has released battery case to double the phone’s battery life.

On the negative side of things, it will add a little more bulk to the phone, but if you value your device not dying out on you more, the ZeroLemon case is a pretty sweet accessory to have around.

The ZeroLemon case includes a 5,500 mAh external power source and comes with four LED lights which show you how much juice you have left. Even better, you won’t have to take the case off while your Galaxy Note 8 is charging.

The new case will start shipping on October 5, but if you place an order for it before that date you’ll be able to get it for $39.99 instead of $80 which is the official price tag.

ZeroLemon also offers battery cases for other flagships launched this year including the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and LG G6.

LG V30+ to become available at Sprint starting October 13

0

Last week we brought you news about the availability of the LG V30 with carriers in the US. But details about the LG V30+ remained unknown.

Last month, Sprint announced it will be the exclusive carrier for the LG V30+ variant which offers 128GB of storage, as opposed to 64GB of the standard LG V30. Other than that, there is no difference between the two models.

Well a few days ago, Sprint issued a press release in which it revealed customers can expect to see the LG V30+ arrive on October 13 (both in stores and online). The carrier also clarified it will be the only major carrier offering the LG V30+ at launch, but the statement seems to suggest other carriers might start offering the model at some point.

But for the time being, customers interested in acquiring the LG V30+ will be able to do so from Sprint for $0 down and $30/month with Sprint Flex. What’s more, new customers will be able to save $30 when they purchase a phone online, while existing customers can save $30 when they upgrade online.

Furthermore, Sprint announced a BOGO deal for the V30+. For a limited time, customers who buy the LG V30+ with Sprint Flex will be offered a second lease on the carrier. Thus they will be asked to pay $38/month for two phones.

But wait, there’s more. Sprint is also throwing in a Daydream View headset and top VR Content Bundle with the purchase of the handset. Note that this deal requires you to place the order online and to set up the device by December 31. LG V30+ owners will then have until January 15, 2018 to redeem the price.

Last but not least, the LG V30+ is the only V30 model to come with a pair of LG QuadPlay earbuds in the box.

For those who have missed our earlier story, you can find out more about the LG V30’s US release dates here.

Samsung Pay begins to get Android Oreo support on Galaxy S8

0

Samsung has a beta program for Android Oreo on the Galaxy S8 allowing select users to test the latest operating system on their device.

To allow full functionality of Android Oreo on the Galaxy S8, Samsung are updating the Samsung Pay app to support the latest version of Android.

Hopefully Samsung will open up the Android Oreo beta program to the Note series but for now it’s restricted to the Galaxy S8 line.

Sources state that the gradual rollout has hit devices in Europe. It could be that the update to Samsung Pay rolls out to every device regardless of if it’s enrolled in the Oreo beta program.
