Verizon is the largest wireless network providers in the US, serving nearly 120 million subscribers. While most readers are familiar with the tier-one player, it also offers its own prepaid service, too.
Here, we gather up a handful of the best phones you can purchase at Verizon Prepaid today. This isn’t a list of the best overall with the top-notch performance. Rather, our list aims to speak to specific users.
Already one of our favorite phones of the year, the Pixel 4a tick all the right boxes and is priced to move, too. It’s everything you need in a modern phone with none of the expensive extras.
Here, you get a 5.8-inch display, plenty of memory (6GB) and storage (128GB), and a generous fast charging battery. Powered by the latest and greatest version of Android, you’ll have hard time finding a better camera experience.
It might not be the newest kid on the block, but we don’t think you’d even notice. Phones don’t come much more big or beautiful — or practical.
Key features here include a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, an excellent multi-camera array, and all-day 3500mAh battery. Then there’s the digital style S Pen and all of the great functions that come with it.
If you’re starting out with a smartphone for the first time, you have no idea as to what you truly need. Why drop hundreds of dollars on something only to find out it’s more than you want or use?
Priced about as cheap as it gets, the TCL SIGNA is your way of dipping your toes into the pool without risk of buyer’s guilt. It runs Android 10 when plenty of more expensive phones do not, and has a decent smattering of hardware.
When you’re looking for a big-screen experience with a digital stylus you don’t have to default to that other more well-known handset. Indeed, the LG Stylo 6 is just as good for most people’s needs and it’s less than half of the price.
For your money you get a large 6.8-inch display, an octa-core processor with decent storage and memory, and a battery that goes well beyond a day. Toss in the triple camera array and Android 10 and you’ve got one heck of a device — and money in your pocket.
There is never a shortage of selection when it comes to buying a phone. Regardless of need or budget, there’s always something to consider. If you’re in the market to upgrade to one of the latest phones, or make a switch to a different brand, you might be wondering what to do with your old one.
An important factor in your decision might be how much you can get for your current device. It’s a lot easier to drop a ton of cash on a new flagship if you know your old handset is still worth a few hundred bucks, right?
The difference between a quick and painless sale and a long, drawn out process could come down to a few simple details. In this guide, we’llย give you tips on how to maximize what you can get for your device.
Prepare your device
Before you even consider listing your device, there are a couple of steps you need to take. These will protect yourself and ensure that your buyer is getting the best device possible.
Although super simple, these steps can make a large difference for both you and your buyer.
Backup your data
Whether it’s pictures, text messages, call logs, downloads, and documents, nobody wants to lose their data.
Recent versions of Android allow users to easily backup and restore data automatically, but I still prefer some third-party applications that let me be more actively involved in the backup and restoration process. If I’m doing it, I know it got done.
The first app I suggest is SMS Backup and Restore. It’s not the prettiest, but it does allow you to backup and restore all of your SMS conversations and call logs. It also gives you the option to include MMS messages and emojis or special characters.
Additionally, if you only care about a few specific conversations, it will allow you to select the conversations you want to keep instead of every single one.
I love that it can upload the backup to Google Drive or Dropbox so I can log in on my new device, download the file and restore my conversations with the app.
I have Google Photos setup to automatically backup my pictures and videos on my phone, but I also make sure to open it up and watch it sync one more time before I move over to a new device.
Once you wipe your device, there is no chance to get those pictures back if you haven’t backed them up, so better safe than sorry.
My last step to back up my data is to open up Solid Explorer and just look around at the file system and folders in my device. I don’t often make widgets withย Zooperย Widget Pro but I have been known to once in a while so when I do, grabbing those files is important.
Also, a quick glance at my downloads folder will remind me if there’s anything important that I need to move over to my new device. An upload to Google Drive later and I’m almost ready to wipe my device.
SIM unlock the device
If you’ve purchased your device from a carrier, unlocking your device can bring you a higher price when you sell it used. You have a couple options for SIM unlocking and both are very easy.
First off, if your phone is paid off and has been on your account for a few months, your carrier should permanently SIM unlock your device for you. To do this on Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T, give customer support a call and request an unlock code. T-Mobile has an app that’s pre-installed on your device that will automate the process.
If you aren’t able to obtain an unlock code from your carrier, you can purchase one from a third-party site. Be careful here as not all of these outlets are reputable or operate within the regulations set by local lawmakers.
I suggest checking out what the price difference between locked and unlocked devices are on Swappa before you pull the trigger.
Factory Reset
Now that you’ve pulled all your data off the device and you’ve SIM unlocked it, it’s time to factory reset the device.
In almost all devices, you can find the factory reset in the Settings application near the bottom of the list. Some phones will include an application solely designed to let you factory reset your device.
Factory resetting your device is incredibly important for your sale. You don’t want to send your device off with your data still on it to some random person. Additionally, they won’t be able to wipe that device without the password to your Google account.
I suggest that you factory reset your device and run it through the setup process without entering any email addresses or personal information. If you do this, you know that the phone successfully wiped your information, and that there are no locks on the device.
Your customer can easily factory reset and go through the setup process once the phone arrives for them.
Spruce up your device
Ew
Aesthetics are important. No one wants to buy a gross phone, so make sure you clean the outside before you take your pictures.
Grab a Microfiber cloth and wipe off the display and rear of the device and make sure you take the time to clean out things like the earpiece and any gaps in the body.
Additionally, a tempered glass screen protector might help get you more for your device, but if it’s cracked or chipped at the edges, take it off so people can see that beautiful, scratch-free display.
Take great pictures
Pictures are one of the most important parts of selling your device. A good set of pictures will do all the selling for you.
Be sure your pictures are well lit and taken so that potential buyers can see any and all scratches on the screen, back of the body, or any physical wear.
Put yourself in the shoes of your potential buyers — what would you want to see? If you’re spending money on something, you want to know every square inch of that device, so try to show it to buyers.
It’s important to also gather all the accessories for a family shot. These can include any cases, cables, wall adapters, boxes, screen protectors, or anything else you’re planning to package with the phone.
Conclusion
I’m a technology addict so I go through plenty of devices. These steps have never steered me wrong and I hope they help you out a little too.ย The thing I try to remember at all timesย isย to be honest about the device.
You’re trying to get the most money you can for your device, but if it arrives and the buyer isn’t happy, you’re going to have a headache on your hand.
If you have any more suggestions of apps to help back up data before selling a device, tips for selling or shipping your device, please post down in the comments section!
I’m sure you’re no stranger to Google Maps, the app has become synonymous with getting around these days. Whether you’re planning a trip to visit your friends and family, looking for a new restaurant, or simply on your way to work–you’re most likely using Google Maps. And there’s a good reason for that, it just keeps adding more useful features.
Today, at Google I/O 2021, five new features for Google Maps were revealed to make getting around even easier, starting with safer routes.
Safer Routes
Did you know that hard braking leads to more accidents? According to research out of the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute, driving routes that include more areas with hard deceleration can lead to more car wrecks.
This is why Google Maps will soon be able to detect routes with the least likelihood of hard-braking using machine learning–and if the ETA is the same or has a minimal difference–it will suggest those directions automatically. So, not only will you arrive on time, but you’ll also arrive safely.
Live View Enhancements
Live View with Augmented Reality is one of the coolest features Google Maps has, and it’s about to get even better. By accessing Live View directly from the map, you’ll be able to see details about the shops and restaurants around you, such as how busy they are or recent reviews with photos.
Live View is also getting new helpful street signs while you’re navigating on the road to ensure you always know where you are, especially at complex intersections. It will also be able to tell you where you are in relation to places such as a hotel when you’re traveling. No more getting lost while on vacation, yay!
Detailed Street Maps
Google launched detailed street maps last August in London, New York, and San Francisco to give a better understanding of your surroundings. With the use of Google’s AI and detailed maps, it can help you navigate by showing where sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian islands are while also showing the road to scale.
Now, Google plans to expand detailed street maps to 50 more cities by the end of the year, including Berlin, Sรฃo Paulo, Seattle, and Singapore.
Live Busyness
During the pandemic, the live busyness feature on Google Maps has really taken off. It has helped people avoid crowded areas and each day over 80 million people check live busyness information. Now, Google is expanding it so that you can check the “busyness” of entire areas. Using this information, you should be able to avoid traffic jams and crowds or see where the hottest places are around the city and go check them out.
Tailored Maps
Staring at a map and seeing the sheer number of locations and pins can be overwhelming, to say the least. So what if your map was smarter and was able to surface relevant places to you when you checked it? That’s what Google plans to do by tailoring Google Maps to you.
For example, say you open Google Maps first thing in the morning, then it would highlight places like coffee shops nearby. However, check it in the evening, and it’ll help surface some restaurants in your area, or viewing it on the weekend might reveal tourist attractions.
Expect to see all these features rolling out globally on Android and iOS in the coming months.
Google on Tuesday offered up its first official glimpse at how Android 12 will look as well as some of its core features. Whereas the last few versions of Android were mostly behind-the-scenes updates with minor noticeable details, the forthcoming release provides the biggest consumer-facing changes since in years.
The most obvious update is the “Material You” design language which is an evolved approach to the Material Design that was ushered in back in 2014. If Material Design was based largely around shades of Google’s blue color palette, Material You is based on the user and can be tailored around any color.
But it’s not just about colors, as Material You features a suite of customization features, line widths, animations, and more. In fact, it can take colors from a photo or wallpaper image to create a balanced and personalized appearance.
Using what we call color extraction, you choose your wallpaper, and the system automatically determines which colors are dominant, which ones are complementary and which ones just look great. It then applies those colors across the entire OS: the notification shade, the lock screen, the volume controls, new widgets and much more.
Google
Material You is expected to launch on Google Pixel phones later this year; it will also come to all Google apps in time.
The notification shade and Quick Settings also see a pretty significant change with more intuitive notifications, cleaner indicators, and new shortcuts. Users will have Quick Settings for Google Pay, Google Home controls, and more. Among other things, a long press of the power button can trigger Google Assistant, make a phone call, or open apps.
The lock screen is also more dynamic and generally playful with animations, the clock, and notifications changing based on interaction and settings. Last, and certainly not least, Android 12 brings about a number of new widgets for the home screen.
In addition to the UI experience, Google also revealed several new security and privacy features for platforms, including Android. A new Locked Folder protects selected photos and videos by adding another layer of security. Set to launch with Pixel phones, it allows for a passcode-protected space where the media can reside without showing up in Google Photos or other apps and devices.
Google Search sees an update which gives users a new option that can immediately delete the last 15 minutes of search activity. Also, Google Password Manager adds a new option to import passwords from other password managers as well as more proactive and helpful ways of managing passwords.
The Privacy Dashboard provides simplified insight and control of app permissions and settings as well as what data is being accessed. This includes how often your permissions and features are being used by which apps. Should one want to take action, it lets users revoke permissions directly from the dashboard.
As we see with every version of Android, Google promises performance improvements under the hood which make the entire operating system faster. A beta version of Android 12 is immediately available for phones from nearly one dozen manufacturers.
There’s no getting around it, passwords are a real pain, but they are also essential for staying secure online. However, coming up with a complex password for every site and service–as well as staying on top of when one of your passwords has been breached–has never been more difficult.
That’s why many of us are guilty of reusing the same password across multiple sites. Even with a password manager, it’s often too much to keep up with. Thankfully, Google is looking to relieve some of the pain points of password management with a new feature in Chrome.
If you use the Chrome browser, you’ve probably already seen pop-ups notifying you of compromised passwords, but now, Google is taking it a step further. From now on, Google Chrome will be able to help you change your leaked or breached passwords with a single tap.
It all starts whenever you check your passwords in Chrome, or it detects a password that could be compromised which will prompt the “Change password button.” Next, after you tap the button, Chrome will forward you to the website and assist you through the entire process of changing your password to a more secure one.
Google does note that this only works on “supported sites” and it’s difficult to tell which sites those include since there is no official list. However, even if the site isn’t supported, Chrome can still help you create a strong password.
This feature builds on Google’s Duplex on the Web technology, which it has used in the past to help you make dinner reservations or buy movie tickets on the web. Duplex helps automate and simplify arduous tasks which often require a lot of tedious repetitive actions. You know, the kind that typically dissuades you from doing something just thinking of all the hoops you’ll have to jump through.
The automated password feature is rolling out beginning in the U.S., with more sites and countries becoming available in the future. It will be available gradually to Chrome users on Android, but Google hasn’t mentioned when it may be seen on Chromebooks or Windows machines.
Samsung may not have been the first manufacturer to introduce a foldable phone, but I’m sure its the first brand that comes to mind when you think of foldables. Thanks to the success of its Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip series, Samsung has become synonymous with foldable phones.
Now, the tech juggernaut is sharing some of its metrics and reasons for success. For starters, in an internal consumer survey, 96% of Galaxy Z Fold 2 users say they are satisfied with their purchase. On top of that, 9 out of 10 of them say they would purchase a foldable phone again.
The biggest reason customers purchased the Galaxy Z Fold 2 won’t surprise you I’m sure, it was due to the larger tablet-sized display–which they use for video calls, reading ebooks, playing games, and dealing with work emails and documents.
Galaxy Z Flip customers, on the other hand, cite the phone’s sleek fashionable look, being able to have a full-sized smartphone that folds up to fit in their hand, and the iconic nostalgic design as the reasons for purchasing.
Samsung has seen a lot of success thanks to its foldable smartphones, with three out of every four foldables shipped worldwide last year belonging to the Galaxy lineup. Research shows that’s not slowing down any time soon, with half of U.S. consumers saying they are interested in buying a foldable phone as their next device.
Finally, one of the biggest reasons for Samsung’s success in the foldables market is by making it more accessible to get your hands on one. It does this by lowering the price of the devices by offering a referral program and providing foldable customers with access to its rewards program Z Premier.
However, the Buy and Try program is probably one of the biggest reasons Samsung’s foldable smartphones are so popular. With this program, customers get an extended 100 day trial of the devices, and after experiencing them, they are less likely to give them up.
Practically anyone and everyone in the US is familiar with the top-tier wireless service providers. Ask around and most folks can think of Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint — they’re the so-called “Big Four”.
For every one of the major network operators listed above there are a number of other players in the space. Some service providers license infrastructure to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and include the likes of Metro, Boost Mobile, and Cricket Wireless.
Select carriers offer their own prepaid services with different rate plans, phone selection, and support. Let’s take a look at one of them in particular: Verizon Prepaid.
About
Verizon Prepaid operates in the United States using the same network as the tier-one brand and, for the most part, provides nearly identical coverage. One key difference is that prepaid customers may face roaming fees in select areas.
There are no credit checks required for service and there are no activation fees at the time of subscription.
Rate Plans
Verizon Prepaid rate plans are no-contract, meaning you can go month-to-month with no long-term agreement or cancellation fees. Moreover, it does not charge for going over your allotted data; you receive “throttled” 2G speeds on data for the remainder of the bill cycle.

In this review, weโre taking a close look at the Bluetti AC200P 2000Wh portable power station. This is truly one of the most reliable portable power sources that you can get on the market, and thatโs because of its enormous power capacity, many options for powering and charging devices, and it also has an intuitive screen that allows you to view stats as well as controlling a few functions for the Bluetti AC200P.
Power
Power Capacity:
You wonโt easily run out of power capacity with thisย Bluetti AC200P power station, as it has a 2000Wh power capacity. Thatโs a lot og power capacity as this AC200P is the equivalent of putting together twenty small portable power stations that may only use a single AC outlet.
The use of a 2000Wh power capacity is great, but itโs also necessary because of the many ways that youโre able to use AC200P. That said, there are two amounts of power capacity that youโll be able to use when it comes to using this power station, as some parts of the power station use less power and therefore you get more power capacity to use as the conversion of the battery power is better.
Higher Power Capacity โ Less Power Usage
Faster, or more power-oriented parts of using this power station will give you less power capacity to lose as there is more heat generated.
2000Wh x 1000 = 2,000,000 / 3.7V = 540,540mAh
If youโre more accustomed to using Mili-Amp Hour (mAh) to measure power capacity, rather than Watt Hours (Wh), as itโs used prominently with power banks, then you can tell that 540,540mAh is a very VERY high power capacity.
This is a measure of power that youโll be able to use when it comes to charging from the USB-A and USB-C Power Delivery port on this power station. However, the power station charging power may vary as itโs able to charge at higher voltages when charging certain devices.
Overall, if all youโre doing with this power station is charging smartphones, or tablets while youโre out camping, or on a road trip, then it may very well last the entirety of your trip. This is because most smartphones on the market now have a 4,000mAh battery, with a 540,540mAh power capacity that you can use, this means that you can get one hundred or more full charges for a single smartphone. Even splitting those full charges among two, three, or even four phones, still means that this power station can last for many days or a week of constant use.
Lower Capacity โ Higher Power Usage
On the other hand, if youโre using higher power usage methods from this Bluetti power station, then youโre going to be getting less power capacity to use. In this case, weโre calculating how much power capacity is available to use when it comes to using a power output of 14.8V.
2000Wh x 1000 = 2,000,000 / 14.8V = 135,135mAh
This substantially lower power capacity to use comes from more heat being generated, and with power being transferred faster from one device to another, power is lost during the process of charging and powering. By using a 14.8V power output, you are losing a good amount of power to use, but at the same time, itโs still higher than most other power stations and youโre able to do a lot with it.
With a 135,135mAh power capacity when using the DC or USB-C Power Delivery ports, youโre still able to charge laptops to full power many times. If weโre assuming that, at most, a laptop has a 7,000mAh battery capacity, then this means that you can charge a laptop to full power about nineteen times. This means you can charge a laptop for more than two weeks straight without having to recharge the power station.
Even if youโre charging, or powering other devices with the other ports or AC outlets, thereโs still a ton of power to go around that can last for about a week. Having a โLower Capacityโ isnโt exactly a thing in this case, because you still get so much from using the power station.
Output Charging:
The type of charging and powering features that a power station has been one of the most valuable parts of it. Sure, the power capacity is important because it dictates just how long youโre able to use the power station, but how youโre able to utilize this Bluetti AC200P power station is something that few others are capable of doing on the market. If any. There are a total of seven-way to use this AC200P and in all, youโre able to charge and power 17 devices at the same time. Sound impressive? It is.
USB-A & USB-C Power Delivery Port / Dual Wireless Charging
First, the basics. The AC200P gets the basics perfectly, and thatโs because it has a total of four USB-A ports and a single USB-C Power Delivery port.
There are two pairs of USB-A ports, and each pair has a 5V/3.0A power output. This is a great charging speed for basically charging any smartphone or tablet out there. That said, none of the USB-A ports features Quick Charge, so you wonโt be able to fast charge your Android smartphone with any of the USB-A ports.
Then thereโs the USB-C Power Delivery port. When it comes to Power Delivery, most power banks tend to use either an 18W, 30W, or 45W Power Delivery charging speed. Those are good pretty good charging speeds, but this AC200P has a 60W charging speed, higher than what most power banks have.
At the same time, a 60W Power Delivery charging speed can charge most USB-C PD laptops at or near their max charging speed. For example, the MacBook Air has a 30W max charge rate, so this PD port can charge it at its max charging speed with the 60W PD port. The Lenovo Flex 5 laptop that I use is also able to charge at its max speed.
When it comes to charging smartphones, the Power Delivery port is also able to charge USB-C smartphones and iPhones at their max speed, too.
To add to the five charging ports, this power station even has two wireless charging pads at the top and this enables you to charge two Qi wireless charging smartphones at the top of the power station. The best part is that the two wireless charging pads have a combined 15W output, meaning that youโre able to fast charge a Samsung phone at 10W and charge another phone at the same time at 5W. Bluetti didnโt have to place wireless charging on this power station, and most power stations donโt have wireless charging in the first place. However, the fact that youโre able to charge your phone without a cable with this power station is incredible.
Two 12V/3.0A DC Ports (DC5521)
There are two 12V/3.0A DC ports on the AC200P, and overall, DC ports can be useful if you have something to charge or power them with. In this case, the 12V/3.0A DC ports are going to be most useful when it comes to charging laptops that also use a DC barrel charging port.
12V/10A DC Car Port
The 12V/10A DC port is the same port that youโre able to find in most vehicles, and in this case, you would use this DC port for powering appliances. The most common appliance that we can think of when it comes to using the DC carport is a portable air tire pressure pump. These pumps almost always have a DC cable that can be plugged into this 12V/10A carport.
12V/25A DC Outlet
One other DC port on this AC200P is the 12V/25A port, and this port has a ton of power and itโs mainly useful to power RV vehicles, and by doing so, itโs able to power quite a few appliances inside your RV.
6 AC Outlets with a Shared 2000W Power Output
The most impressive part of this Bluetti AC200P 2000Wh power station is the use of its six AC outlets. There are very few portable power stations on the market that use six AC outlets, with most of them using either one or two, max. The other great part is that the six AC outlets share a massive 2000W power output.
Six AC outlets that share a 2000W power output enables you to power six appliances at the same time, meaning that you can have a Magic Bullet blender, a fridge, charge a laptop with a laptop charger, power a lamp, a mini fan, and a mini electric grill at the same time. With all this being powered no matter where you are with the AC200P truly makes this Bluetti power station one of the best on the market.
Another thing to add is that each of the six AC outlets is three-prong plugs so you have a more free range of what youโre able to connect to the AC outlets.
Input Charging:
The output of this AC200P is powerful and there are many options. On the same note, the input for recharging this power station is just as good, and thatโs because you have five options to recharge the AC200P.
The two main methods of recharging the AC200P is the use of an AC or car adapter. The AC adapter is perfect for recharging the unit while youโre at home, while the car adapter is useful for recharging the unit when youโre driving.
The good thing is that the AC200P comes with the AC and car charger. The one other more accessible way of recharging is by using a Solar panel, but this unit does not come with Solar panels. However, the AC00 does come with a Solar panel adapter that you can use to plug into Solar panels.
The two other methods of recharging this power station are not the most common and are ones that you likely wonโt be using but are always there to use. One would be using a Gasoline or Diesel generator to recharge the AC200P. The other would be using Lead Acid batteries to also recharge the unit.
Design
Size and Weight:
Before purchasing a portable power station it is important to acknowledge that it will be large and heavy. Portable power stations are not be held for a long duration of time and are more meant to be stored in case of an emergency or those places and times where you donโt have access to a stable source of power such as a wall outlet.
Thatโs the case for this AC200P power station as it has a length of 16.5 inches, a with of 15.2 inches, and a height of 11 inches. Most importantly the AC200P power stations weigh 57 pounds. Itโs very heavy and when it comes to picking it up we highly recommend that you pick up with your legs first and then your back. Once again, this is not a power station that you can hold for a long time, and itโs meant to stay in a single place when it comes to using it because of its larger size and heavyweight.
Functional Components:
Even with all of its features, using the AC200P power station is quite easy. All the output ports are at the front of the unit other than the two wireless charging pads at the top. The two input ports for recharging the power stations can be found to the side.
Also, at the front is where youโll find a touch LCD screen. From the screen, youโre able to control quite a few things within the power station. The first thing is that youโre able to see how much remaining power capacity there is to use. Also, youโre able to see how much power the power station is outputting in wattage amount.
You can also select for the AC200P to enter into Power Saver mode, and in Power Saver mode the AC200P turns off automatically if it goes under a certain power output.
Build
Structure and Material:
The build quality of this Bluetti AC200P power station is great, and itโs on par with many of the other power stations that the brand has released. When all the ports are covered with their cover guards, then the power station does have a bit of water-resistant. On the shock-resistant side, well, there isnโt much shock-resistance, but these power stations are built well enough that you can place it into a trunk of a car and still not worry about it sliding and bumping around.
Tech:
Since the power station is capable of outputting 2000W, it has a fan on the inside to keep things cool. If the power station is either 45ยฐ Celcius (113ยฐ Fahrenheit) or has an output greater than 250W or 1000W, then the fan is automatically turned on at low speed. On the other hand, if the power station is 50ยฐ Celcius (122ยฐ Fahrenheit) or over 1500W, then the fan speed is set to high automatically.
Reliability
Power stations are built to be reliable, and theyโre more reliable than any power bank that you will purchase. This Bluetti AC200P power station is one of the most reliable power stations that you can spend money on. There are very few power stations that make use of six AC outlets and to add to that, you have four USB-A ports, a 60W Power Delivery port, and two wireless charging pads at the top.
You also get three types of DC ports that can prove useful for charging or powering certain devices and appliances. With all of these ways to use the AC200P and combining it with the massive 2000Wh power capacity, using this power station is like taking your home with you no matter where you are.

Summary:
Power:
There is a ton of power to use, with a 2000Wh power capacity that can charge smartphones into the hundred range and six AC outlets with a 2000W max output.
Design:
Power stations are going to be large and heavy. Thatโs the case with this AC200P that is a large block that weighs about 57 pounds. Even though the power station is large, itโs easy to use with everything being quite organized with its placement. To add to that, there is a Touch LCD screen that power stations, in general, donโt use at all.
Build:
The build quality of this power station is good, especially on the inside because there is a fan that has a low and high-speed setting depending on the output and temperature of the internals. On the outside, the AC200P power station is also built well, but itโs not a rugged power station, at the same time it can still take bumps and light falls.
Reliability:
This is a very reliable power station, it has high power capacity, many charging ports, and most notably the six three-prong AC outlets with a 2000W combined power output. Being able to power six appliances at the same time can be dream-like if youโre someplace where you donโt have access to a stable source of power.
Conclusion:
Bluetti has done a lot in the portable power station space, and theyโre pushing what power stations are capable of with this AC200P. It has everything that you would want a power station to feature with its high power capacity, many, many charging and powering options, and innovative design that makes use of a touch-screen for certain controls. Itโs one of the best out there, and if youโre looking for a power station that is capable of doing it all, then the Bluetti AC200P is it.
Google has been busy lately updating its Phone app with useful features. A few weeks ago, it rolled out a way to record phone calls from unknown numbers.
Now, the latest addition is the ability for your phone to announce who is calling you. The new feature essentially reads out the caller ID information on your phone, making it easier for you to decide whether or not you want to pick up without having to look at your device. It was first spotted in an APK teardown from XDA-Developers way back in September 2020, but it only just now begun rolling out widely.
To enable the announcement of caller ID on your phone, first you must have the latest version of the Google Phone app. Next, open up the settings menu and navigate to the “Caller ID announcement option.” Finally, you’ll be able to choose from three different options, Always, Only when using a headset, and Never.
After enabling the caller ID announcement feature, you will begin hearing your phone announce the name and number for incoming calls. So whether your phone is on your nightstand or you have some sort of visual impairment, you’ll now be able to easily know who is calling next time the phone rings.
If you find the setting isn’t present on your device, like it’s currently isn’t on mine, then just be patient. It can take some time for new features to roll out to every person and hopefully it will land on your device and mine soon.
