Anker PowerConf H700 headset review

Anker has recently been creating more and more devices specific to working from home or the traditional workspace. Both the AnkerWork and PowerConf series cover this market.

Anker has been kind enough to use one of the latest PowerConf devices for the last few weeks in the form of the PowerConf H700 headset. Let’s find out how this conferencing headset performs in my real-world review.

Design

Anker isn’t trying to greatly expand the current look and feel of a wireless conferencing headset with the H700. However, the company has done a fantastic job with the fit and finish. The PowerConf H700 is sturdy and has a premium allure about it that you will immediately recognize.

The H700 has a dual earphone with soft padding on each side. This is connected by a headband design that also makes sure you are comfortable with padding there as well. On one side, you are greeted with a rotating mouthpiece that houses the microphone array that is the star of the show for the PowerConf headset.

This rotating feature offers two things. You can set up auto-mute options that if the microphone is vertical it mutes your audio input without having to click a button on your computer screen. The other option is that you can force it past this soft vertical stop and flip the mouthpiece all away around to utilize it on either the right or left side of your head for those that prefer alternate orientation.

PowerConf is a powerhouse

Internally, the PowerConf H700 has multiple voices and noise-cancellation hardware and software to ensure you get one of the best experiences on calls regardless of the environment. The H700 has a dual-microphone array and a dedicated ANC (active noise cancellation) chip to filter incoming noise while making your voice crystal clear.

Controls and software

The PowerConf H700 has several ways to interact with the unit while in use. Just the mute function has three ways to cut the mic. You can flip up the mouthpiece, press the dedicated mute button, or lift the mic-side earcup off your ear.

On the same earpiece, you have the power button that is used to turn the unit on and activate the pairing modes. Pairing can be done with a single device by holding the power button for two seconds. You can then add a second paired device by double-tapping the power button.

The only other button on this side of the H700 is the ANC button. This is used to move between the two profiles for the PowerConf headset. Pressing the ANC button will move from Transparency mode or full Active Noise Cancellation. Transparency lowers the amount of outside interference allowed into the earpiece. This is a nice addition in a standard cubical environment where you may still what to hear the co-worker next to you asking for assistance, etc.

The opposite earpiece has many other iterations for both music and calls. This revolves around a rotating button that covers most of that side of the headset. The main function is as a volume wheel. Turning the wheel back and forth raises and lowers the volume.

Pressing the wheel once pause or resumes music playback. The same single press answers or ends a call. Pressing it twice rejects an incoming call or moves playback forward a track. Triple pressing the wheel moves you to the previous track on music.

The Anker PowerConf H700 can be used via the included USB adapter or by the built-in Bluetooth radio. I’ve found the battery live and general performance is slightly better with the USB adapter, but I’ve had no complaints either way.

Software on your desktop is just as strong as that on the device itself. Anker has an awesome toolkit built into the AnkerWork application. This allows you to tweak the sound settings, run firmware updates on the H700, and even record your meeting for transcription.

The PowerConf H700 is certified to work with many of your online calling platforms. Anker has worked to make sure all the features perform on WebEx, Google Meet, GoToMeeting, FaceTime, and of course Zoom.

Battery life and charging

Anker estimates the PowerConf H700 at around 24 hours of total playback time per charge. I found this to be accurate. I had no issue getting three to four days depending on how calls I took and listening to podcasts while not taking a conference.

The unit we were sent includes the charging stand. This allows for pogo pins to charge the H700 while sitting on your desk via USB-C power to the dock.

If you don’t want to spring for the extra $20 for the stand, the PowerConf H700 still has a dedicated USB-C port. This is a great option for both the wallet and while traveling. It’s much easier to pack this thing away in a bag without the charging station.

Both power inputs support quick charge which is always nice. This gives you three hours of capacity back in just five minutes of charging. A full refuel can be had with either input in under two hours as well.

Conclusion

Anker has another great option for your office environment with the PowerConf H700. With a comfortable build, solid features, and outstanding battery life this headset is a winner. If you’re in the market, it’s harder to find a better option for conference calls.

Cost is just above an impulse purchase but still won’t break the bank. For just the H700 headset, retail is $130. If you want to up the stakes, $150 gets you the headset and the charging dock. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.

JBL Tour Pro Plus TWS Earbuds with ANC review

The market for high-end true wireless earbuds with active noise cancellation is continuing to grow every year. Sony and Bose are two of the main competitors, but there are brands vying for your hard-earned dollar, such as JBL with its latest Tour PRO+ true wireless earbuds with ANC.

Fortunately, JBL was nice enough to send out a pair for review, and here are my thoughts after using them for the past few weeks.

Design

The JBL Tour PRO+ comes in a fairly compact matte black plastic case that has a nice weight to it and feels solid in the hand. There’s a USB-C charging port on the bottom and it lies flat for wireless charging. Also, I have to call out JBL here for including a charging cable that is reversible on both ends.

JBL is the only brand that I know of that includes cables with its products with a reversible USB-A connector, and I’ve always been a huge fan of its bundled cables for that reason.

My only complaint about the case is that you cannot stand it up straight while having the lid open. The bottom is slightly rounded and with the top opened it causes it to tip over.

Inside the case are an attractive pair of buds with IPX4 water-resistance and touch-sensitive buttons to control music playback, noise cancellation, and more where the JBL logo is located.

Comfort

JBL includes four sets of ear tips for the Tour PRO+ buds, and unfortunately, none of them were small enough for my ears. Admittedly, I have smaller than average ear canals and this is an issue for me with many earbuds, even Sony’s top-of-the-line buds.

While I was able to use the smallest set of ear tips, they weren’t the most comfortable things to jam into my ears, but once in, I was able to listen to music for a couple of hours before ear fatigue set in.

Still, it would have been fantastic if JBL and other brands were to include slimmer ear tips with their earbuds. At least JBL uses a standard connector, which allows you to buy third-party ear tips for a better fit such as this set from Amazon.

User experience

The JBL Tour PRO+ incorporate Google Fast Pairing technology which makes them easy to connect to your phone and set up right after taking them out of the box.

JBL also has an app on the Play Store that you’ll need to install for additional features such as customizing the touch-sensitive buttons, changing the equalizer settings, viewing the battery life of the buds or case, and more.

The JBL Headphones app isn’t as fully featured as something like the app from Sony, but it still provides the most important controls, and it even allows has a feature that will prioritize audio quality or try to keep audio and video in sync better.

Overall, my experience with the JBL Tour PRO+ was a positive one, except I did run into a couple of issues. For instance, when trying to reposition or push the buds back in, I would often end up activating one of the touch-sensitive buttons. This must be due to the button itself being quite large and it makes it easy to accidentally press or graze with your finger.

Next, there were several occasions when I would put the buds back in the case and I would hear a loud piercing noise while closing the case. I’m not sure what the root cause of this was, but I did notice a couple of times one or both of the buds wouldn’t disconnect and I would have to remove them and insert them again.

In the end, these are minor quirks, but when you’re spending $200 on a pair of headphones, you do expect these sorts of issues to not be present.

Back on the positive side of things, the JBL Tour PRO+ offers hands-free Google Assistant integration which makes listening to and responding to your notifications a breeze on the go. You can also disable this if you don’t care for it and still use one of the touch-sensitive buttons to activate Assistant.

Furthermore, each bud can be used independently if you’re the sort of person who needs to keep one ear free. However, the JBL Tour PRO+ also offers a fantastic ambient aware mode that allows you to listen to music while hearing your surroundings, so you can wear both buds all the time if you choose while keeping in touch with the world.

Sound quality

Many earbuds in this price range offer high-quality Bluetooth codecs for audio decoding such as aptX, aptX HD, or even LDAC. Despite JBL omitting these codecs, the Tour PRO+ still provides some top-tier sound.

The high-end was bright and clear providing clarity in tracks and allowing for separation from the different instruments, while at the same time, there was a deep low-end for some thumping bass. It’s a V-shaped sound signature that I’ve been accustomed to from JBL over the years, and that I’m a big fan of in general.

So, even though I was a bit disappointed there was no high-res audio codec support, I still found myself fully enamored in the sound from the Tour PRO+ and wasn’t let down.

Noise cancellation

The ANC capabilities of the JBL Tour PRO+ come up a little short when compared to Sony’s WF-1000XM4 earbuds. That’s no surprise because Sony and Bose both lead the pack when it comes to noise cancellation.

Regardless, the JBL Tour PRO+ are still able to block out some low-level repetitive noise and it should be helpful at silencing airplane noise or the air conditioner running in the background when music is played at a low to moderate volume.

Battery life

The JBL Tour PRO+ offer up to a whopping 32-hours of battery life, which is some of the longest I’ve seen from a pair of true wireless headphones. When it comes to uninterrupted playback, the JBL Tour PRO+ offers around eight hours before the buds need to be topped off by the case.

Plus, you can get an hour of playback time with only a few minutes of charging in the case for when you need to quickly extend your listening time.

Final thoughts

JBL’s latest Tour PRO+ true wireless earbuds pack in a lot for the $200 price tag. They sound fantastic, feature ANC, and provide all the essential options you’d expect from flagship headphones in the JBL Headphones app.

Nevertheless, there are a few quirks with getting the buds to reliably disconnect when placing them in the case, the noise cancellation is a little weak, and there’s no hi-res Bluetooth audio codec support.

Despite those drawbacks, the Tour PRO+ buds are still a great pair of headphones and especially considering they come in quite a bit cheaper than some of the competition.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra review

0

No matter what camp you land on in the Android market, you have to admit that Samsung is the king. The company has a long history of being the most competent and successful Android phone maker. AT&T has given us over three weeks with the latest powerhouse with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and this is the pinnacle of Samsung’s vision.

Design

I love my Pixel 5 and really enjoy the design language of all my Pixels, but damn this S22 Ultra is sexy. Samsung has mastered the mix of aluminum frame and glass materials unlike any team not named Apple. How it all molds together in seamless curves and turns is impressive.

It’s all business in the front with a gorgeous 6.8-inch screen. This AMOLED has a massive resolution at 3088×1440 and is smooth as butter with a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung has nailed this screen. It pops color, has great viewing angels even outside, and I even don’t hate the curved sides.

At the top of the screen is a 40MP selfie camera and under the bottom third you find the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The right side of the unit houses the volume rocker and power button. On the left side is a blank slate with no buttons. On the bottom, you’ll find the speaker cutouts and a USB-C port.

Internally, you can spec the S22 Ultra with 128, 256, or a whopping 512GB of storage. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU paired with 8GB of RAM should power any scenario you throw at this phone. We’ll cover the battery more in-depth later but you have a 5,000mAh bank ready to take on your days.

Pen

The latest S-Pen is the true feature that sets the S22 Ultra apart from its siblings. Essentially, in every way but name, this is the Note for 2022. Predictably, this is the best pen interaction you will find on any smartphone.

Samsung has been polishing how a pen should work with its OS for over a decade now, and the S22 Ultra is the most recent rendition with great results. There’s less latency, more accurate inputs, and better app integration than ever before. These built-in hooks work best with Samsung’s own apps but it’s not exclusive.

While I found the usage case to be rare signings of documents or doodling on screenshots, I do think there’s a niche consumer market for the S-Pen. If you love to draw or take handwritten notes, then it’s a no-brainer. I also could see many users enjoying the write-to-text options.

Software and One UI

We’ve covered the latest edition of One UI recently with other reviews like the Fold 3 and the S22 Ultra carries most of the same DNA. IF you’ve used a recent Samsung phone this will be extremely comfortable.

One UI has come a long way and doesn’t have the bloated experience from past years. Samsung has found a great balance of unique UI elements not found in “stock” Android without muddling the software for users.

I actually prefer many One UI takes on the notification shade and quick tiles to the overly large circles found on Android 12 with my Pixel. Samsung makes the UI both scaled for large devices while still making sure it’s compact enough to not be exaggerated.

A few things still stand out as negatives in my eyes though. Bixby is still present along with a laundry list of redundant apps that Samsung insists on building. Calendar, Phone, Messages, and Samsung Pay all exist in a world where Google has better support and cross-platform presence.

It’s time for Bixby to move on as well. We finally got rid of the Samsung news screen to the right of the launcher and replaced it with Google’s Now feed. Bixby should be the next to go. Google Assistant runs circles around the other established Siri, and Bixby is so far behind both that I really think Samsung should retire it.

Cameras

Samsung included a quadruple threat of arrays on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This gives you a 108MP wide-angle, 10MP telephoto with 10x zoom, another 10MP dual telephoto with 5x zoom, and finally a 12MP main shooting capable of 100x zoom.

You really can’t find a setting that Samsung cant’ capture with this setup. All take great photos and the flexibility of multiple sensors makes the Galaxy series really shine in this new generation.

I’d stack this camera combination up with anything from the Pixels or iPhone has to offer. One exception I’ve noticed is that I do think Pixels still have a slight edge in Portrait shots. Google post-processing still creates sharper edges and more successfully pulls the entire object of focus to the forefront.

Size

The Samsung S22 Ultra is a marvel to hold in the hand but you might want to keep a separate paw on it most of the time. That’s mainly due to the massive size of the Ultra. This might be the largest phone I’ve used in recent memory.

While I don’t think it’s a true negative with most consumers enjoying a large screen-sized phone, it is jarring with the S22 Ultra. One-handed use is pretty much a nonstarter on the device and you’ll struggle to not use the second hand for many interactions with the screen.

If coming from a previous Note or even the Pixel 6 Pro it shouldn’t be an issue. However, it’s worth noting as a real concern if you prefer a smaller phone like say the Pixel 5. This would be a stark difference that one might not enjoy.

S22 Ultra vs Pixel 5

Battery life

The endurance of the Samsung S22 Ultra has been good. Much like anything with a screen with this size, refresh rate, and resolution, it is relative to how you use it. I had zero issues getting through a full day.

Most evenings I was hitting my charger at around 11 pm with over two and a half hours of screen time or more with at least 20% battery bank left. Could you deplete the full capacity in days with long hours of streaming or gaming? Probably. But for me, it was never an issue.

When you do need to refresh the tanks, you have two-way wireless charging and USB-C fast charge. Whether you want a trickle charge while you sleep, or you need a burst of power to get you through a night out, the S22 Ultra can accommodate.

Conclusion

Samsung is the king of the Android market and the S22 Ultra is the biggest and boldest phone the company offers. With a gorgeous screen, S-Pen, and great software tweaks, the S22 Ultra nails everything it tries to be.

Whether that experience is for you is the big question surrounding this big phone. If you don’t want the massive screen size or need pen input, there are countless other options better suited for you in Samsung’s lineup.

If you answered yes to needing those high-end options, then the S22 Ultra can be purchased from our friends at AT&T right now. Approved trade-ins can get the price down to a crazy $12 per month at the moment as well. If you prefer to avoid payments, then you can snag the S22 Ultra at full retail for $1,200 bucks.

Bricker Builds Spider-Man No Way Home life-sized bust review

Over the past couple of years, we’ve all spent a lot more time at home due to the pandemic. During that time, I rediscovered my childhood hobby of building Lego sets to help pass the hours, and turns out, it’s a great stress reliever as well.

While Lego offers a large variety of sets already for children and AFOL (Adult Fans of Lego) already, I soon began to branch out looking for models that combined my other interests with my newfound hobby.

Enter Bricker Builds, a company that designs and sells instructions for building life-sized Lego sculptures based on popular movies and video games. The first time I saw one of their designs, I immediately fell in love and knew I had to build it.

After browsing the Bricker Builds site, I soon found several more models I loved and knew I’d be saving up to buy in the future.

Full disclosure, even though I have previously purchased from Bricker Builds, the model below was provided by the company for a fair and unbiased review.

Purchasing

The Bricker Builds website offers a variety of Lego sculptures based on some of the most popular movies and video games around, all designed by master Lego builders. The selection includes characters such as Darth Vader, Master Chief, Boba Fett, Spider-Man, and more. There is even a collection of iconic weapons, including Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, Captain America’s Shield, and a Hero’s Sword inspired by Link’s Master Sword from Zelda.

Once you’ve chosen the set you want to buy, Bricker Builds provides you with two options for purchasing. The first, conveniently bundles the instructions and all the Lego bricks you’ll need to complete the build. While the second option, includes the instructions and a parts list, which comes in an XML file ready to plug into Brick Link for purchasing new or used Lego pieces for the sculpture. Bricker Builds even made a tutorial video to make acquiring the bricks yourself as easy as possible.

As you might have guessed, the bundle is often the most expensive option. This Spider-Man No Way Home Bust will set you back $650 for the instructions plus bricks, but it’s also the easiest most trouble-free way to get everything all at once. Choosing the instructions and parts list option is much cheaper at only $45 for this build, however, then you’ll have to buy the bricks separately.

When trying to decide, Bricker Builds is willing to assist by providing a parts list allowing you to compare prices to see if it’s worth sourcing the parts yourself. All you have to do is email the fantastic support team and request it.

If you’re finding the price to be a little hard to swallow, then you might be happy to know that you can split the total into multiple interest-free installments, with payments due every two weeks.

After you’ve placed an order, Bricker Builds sends out an email confirming everything and with links to download the PDF instructions and parts list for your model. All that’s left to do, is wait for your box of genuine Lego bricks to arrive, or to start pricing out and purchasing the bricks on your own.

What comes in the box?

With the Spider-Man No Way Home set, the box came packed with a printout with QR codes to download instructions and the parts list, as well as 2 large re-sealable zipper bags stuffed with several other smaller zipper bags containing the Lego pieces.

The Build Process

At first, I thought this was similar to how Lego sets come with numbered bags for each set, however, I soon learned that was not the case. This dawned on me after emptying out bag 1 of 2 and realizing I couldn’t find the pieces I needed after only getting a couple of steps into the build.

Instead of numbering the bags in order of each step like Lego sets do, Bricker Builds sends pieces sorted in bags by shape or type. This took a little time to adjust to, but once I did, I was flying through the build with no problems.

No matter what option you purchase, the instructions you receive will come in PDF format. As someone who has built sets using both paper and PDF instructions, I much prefer using the PDF version. Zooming into the page on a tablet or computer is far more practical than shoving your face into an instruction book. Plus, you save a tree in the process.

As for the quality of the instructions, I’d say they are better than those I’ve seen from retail Lego sets. The reason I say they are better, is because the Bricker Builds instructions include a yellow outline around the new pieces that make it easier to follow along with complex builds.

Now for the part you’ve been waiting for, how difficult is building such an impressive-looking Lego sculpture? At first, building the Spider-Man No Way Home Life-Sized Bust can seem a little daunting. It is comprised of 3,000 bricks after all—and when completed—stands nearly 17-inches tall, 8.5-inches wide, 8.9-inches deep, and weighs 5.5-pounds.

However, never fear web-slinging fans, thanks to the well-laid-out instructions, just about anyone should be able to tackle this project. It mostly consists of precisely stacking plates and bricks, except for some advanced techniques using SNOT (Studs Not on Top) bricks on the face.

Regardless, I never once found myself getting lost or stuck during the build. Bricker Builds has done an amazing job on the instructions streamlining the build process. Plus, if you ever have any questions, Bricker Builds encourages you to reach out to their stellar support team for help.

My only complaint would be that I was four bricks short by the end of the build. One piece was missing entirely, while three were red when I needed dark red to complete the webbing on the head. Not to worry, as I mentioned, Bricker Builds has fantastic support, and after sending an email and waiting a day, the missing parts were on their way.

Final Thoughts

In the world of Lego MOC (My Own Creation) sets, Bricker Builds stands out with impeccable life-sized sculptures designed by Lego masters and top-notch customer support. While their sets may not come cheap, you’re getting genuine Lego bricks, and a one-of-a-kind Lego showpiece that is not only fun to build, but will also look fantastic in your home. The Spider-Man No Way Home life-sized bust even makes a fantastic headphone stand.

If you do place an order, make sure to sign up for the Bricker Builds email newsletter in order to receive $5 off your purchase.

Android Auto needs video support

0

My father-in-law recently purchased a Tesla Model Y. While it’s a tech marvel in many ways, our conversations immediately turned to what my thoughts were as I’ve been unofficially dubbed the “family techie”.

One of the things I pointed out was I hate that Tesla didn’t implement Android Auto or Apple CarPlay for the infotainment system.

I’d much rather see existing platforms, with almost zero setup required, be used in instances like this. However, one thing jumped out when we had to stop and charge the car during a day out. Obviously, EVs can’t just pull up a pump and refuel like traditional cars in under five minutes. It can take up to an hour even at “superchargers” to top of the battery cells.

My in-law immediately pulled up a screen while we plugged in that showed apps like YouTube, Hulu, and Netflix. While the car is parked you can enjoy all your streaming content while you wait for the battery to get a refresh.

Google needs to find a way to implement this in Android Auto. With a giant surge in the US around electric vehicles, it’s a glaring missing feature. Hyundai, Ford, Kia, Chevy, and Nissan all offer models that are fully electric and support Android Auto.

Now, let’s not be stupid about it. This should only be available while the car is in park. No one is asking Google to allow you to watch the latest clips of Saturday Night Live while rushing to work on the highway. However, the market is shifting to this new downtime in cars and Android Auto needs to catch up.

Android Auto with video app support would bring the platform into this new age of the car industry. Whether you want to catch up on TikTok, or Netflix and chill, these apps should be available to users. In a confirmed, safe environment of course.

What do you think? Would you use video apps in your car with Android Auto? Let us know in the comments!

6 best paper writing services reviewed

0

Academic writing services have become a rapidly growing flourishing market over the past years. Unfortunately, along with the high demand and many grateful clients go the shameful number of fraudulent companies and history of poor quality. But good service providers prevail with decent quality, professional writers, and customer care. We’ve screened many paper writing services to make a curated list of trustworthy businesses.

Why Use Paper Writing Services?

There are many reasons to apply for help with academic assignments, and most of them have nothing to do with laziness. The Excitrus Power Bank is designed to be a highly universal multi-tasking power bank that allows you to charge just about any device with a battery. You can find it on Amazon or the Excitrus website for $99.99. Its most important feature is the battery pack’s power output, allowing up to 100W output so that you can charge larger devices like a MacBook or any laptop that allows for a USB charging connection.

In the box you receive the power bank itself, a manual, and a short USB-C to USB-C cable. The power bank has a “Premium Fabric” exterior that looks and feels very high quality. It also has a small window on the side with a couple different indicators to tell you the battery percentage remaining as well as the current “charging mode”.

If you’ve got lots of Apple products, or just about any device with the right connection capabilities, then in theory you can charge up to four devices at once.

Features

As advertised by Excitrus, the 100W Power bank does have the capability to charge four devices at one time. It comes with three different outputs and one 10W wireless charging location right on top of the battery pack.

One of the unique things about the Excitrus 100W is the magnets inside the battery which will hold a wireless charging device in place so that you can easily locate the right spot for your phone, earbuds, etc.

For wired connections, there are two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. The ports each provide different available wattage capabilities and the battery pack itself has a couple different charging modes to protect the longevity of your devices’ batteries.

The USB-A port allows for the 18W Quick Charge 3.0 so that you can charge certain compatible devices at high speed, like recent MacBooks, Microsoft Surfaces, iPad Pros, iPhones, and the Nintendo Switch. Don’t worry if your device isn’t compatible with the Quick Charge 3.0, as the Excitrus 100W will still charge the device at a reduced speed.

For Android users and other devices without the Quick Charge 3.0 feature, the other two wired ports on the battery pack put out plenty of power to charge your device quickly.

The first USB-C port doubles as the power input for the battery pack, but also has the full 100W capability for fast charging of any device. The second USB-C port will also rapidly charge any smartphone with a 45W output rating and 44W high speed charging for Samsung users, in particular.

Another unique feature of the Excitrus 100W pack is its Bluetooth Device Charging mode. To charge small tech like a pair of wireless earbuds or a smartwatch, I would recommend putting the power bank in this mode in order to protect the long-term life of your wearables. This can be done quickly and easily by double pressing the button on the side, and the percent symbol in the window will blink so that you know the mode has been activated.

Battery and Performance

The battery pack itself is advertised at 20,800mAh, or roughly 75 hours of life for your average smartphone, 16 hours for an average tablet, or 15 hours for a USB-C compatible laptop.

It seems that their implied rate of charging for certain devices is pretty accurate. It was able to charge my device from 0% to about 80% in one hour. I was able to get just short of two full charges for my Pixel 5a, which has a pretty average battery capacity compared to today’s market of smartphones.

After one charge of the Pixel, it had 40% battery remaining. I was able to test the power bank out on a MacBook Pro, and it definitely had the power to charge it at about the same rate as a wall charger would, but I was not able to test if it would give the laptop a full charge, so I’ll have to rely on Excitrus for the 15+ hour lifespan extension for USB-C laptops.

Considering the size of the battery pack (it definitely won’t fit your pocket), I honestly did expect a bit more from it, but I can’t take away any credit when you take into account the wireless charging ability as well as three other high-power outputs that can be used simultaneously.

Availability

You can learn more about the Excitrus 100 W Magnetic Wireless Power Bank at the manufacturer’s website where it’s also available to purchase for about $100. Alternatively, you can also head to Amazon and pick one up.

Today, security systems have automation capabilities that can switch on lights and turn them off when required. In the end, you can control and manage all your energy-consuming elements and save the overall costs of running your home.

  1. Increased home value and decreased risks

With a proper home security system in place, the value of your home increases. In addition, the risks associated with your home are low. Therefore, the home will attract lower premiums on insurance. Ultimately, you will save a lot on your total homeowner’s insurance package.

The value of your home increases with a security system in place. More than that, you end up saving a lot of money through smart technologies integrated into the security system.

The ultimate guide to shopping for small business ERP software

0

When it comes to enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, small businesses have a lot of choices. But with so many options on the market, how do you know which ERP system is right for your business?

The good news is that there are a few key factors that you can keep in mind as you shop for small business ERP software. By taking the time to consider these factors, you can be sure that you select an ERP system that will meet the specific needs of your business.

What does an ERP system do?

When shopping for small business ERP software like Katana MRP software, it’s important to remember that not all solutions are created equal. Different businesses have different needs, and not every ERP software package will be a good fit for your company.

That said, there are a few key things to keep in mind when shopping for ERP software:

  • Make sure the software is compatible with your current systems and infrastructure.
  • Be sure to find a solution that fits your budget.
  • Choose a provider that can provide you with the necessary training and support.
  • Make sure the software is scalable and can grow with your business.
  • Choose a provider with a good track record and a strong reputation.

If you keep these things in mind, you’re sure to find the perfect ERP software solution for your small business.

What to Look for in an ERP System?

Here are four factors to consider when shopping for small business ERP software:

1. Functionality

First and foremost, you need to make sure that the ERP software you select has the functionality you need. After all, there’s no point in paying for features that you’ll never use.

Take the time to sit down and make a list of the specific features you need your ERP system to have. Then, compare this list to the feature sets of the various ERP software options on the market. This will help you narrow down your choices and select an ERP system that has the functionality you need.

2. Ease of use

Another important factor to consider when shopping for small business ERP software is the ease of use. Remember, you’ll be training your employees how to use the system, so it needs to be user-friendly.

Look for an ERP system with a clean and intuitive interface. Ideally, the system should be designed to find the information and tools they need easily.

3. Scalability

Another factor to keep in mind as you shop for small business ERP software is scalability. As your business grows, you’ll need an ERP system that can grow with you.

Look for an ERP system that offers scalable features and modules. This way, you can add on to the system as your business expands without replacing the entire system.

4. Support

Finally, don’t forget to consider support when shopping for small business ERP software. No matter how user-friendly or feature-rich a system maybe, you’ll likely need help using it at some point.

Make sure to select an ERP system that offers good support options. This could include online resources, such as tutorials and FAQs and phone and email support.

When shopping for small business ERP software, keep these four factors in mind. By considering the needs of your business, you can be sure to find an ERP system that is perfect for you.
