Vivo unveiled the latest Pad Air tablet with Snapdragon 870 chipset

Vivo has officially added one more tablet to its portfolio- the Vivo Pad Air is now official in China. Earlier this year, Vivo announced the Pad 2 tablet in China, and now the brand brings a slightly affordable version to the Vivo’s Pad series lineup. Vivo packs flagship features in its affordable Pad Air tablet including an 11.5-inch large LCD panel, flagship Qualcomm chipset, a massive 8,500mAh battery, and much more. 

Vivo Pad Air is priced at CNY 1,799 (~$247) for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage while the high-end 12GB RAM + 512GB storage version retails at CNY 2,599 (~$357). It comes in three beautiful color options- Free Blue, Easy Silver, and Brave Powder.  The Pad Air tablet is now available for sale through Vivo’s official website. 

Under the hood, the Pad Air is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS3.1 storage. It runs on Android 13 based on custom OriginOS 3 for tablets. In terms of lenses, the Vivo Pad Air houses an 8MP single rear camera setup at the back, and on the front, it features a 5MP selfie camera. 

Vivo Pad Air sports a stunning 11.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a maximum 144Hz refresh rate, 1840 x 2800p resolution, and 540Hz instant touch sampling rate. The panel has P3 wide color gamut support that offers a vibrant and bright picture quality.  

It packs a massive 8,500mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging tech. Furthermore, the tablet supports the stylus and magnetic keyboard. The news was reported by BusinessWire, clarifying that the deal will strengthen Sony Interactive Entertainment’s effort to improve on its drive toward innovation when it comes to audio offerings in PlayStation games.

Audeze is also reported to continue working as it does, and operating independently. It will continue manufacturing products for multiple platforms as it usually does. However, Sony highlighted that Audeze will henceforth benefit from being a part of PlayStation ecosystem. It is expected that terms of the acquisition will be made public later.

Earlier this year, at CES 2023 Samsung first showcased its gigantic 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 gaming monitor and now at Gamescom Samsung has officially announced the availability and pricing for the US, UK, and India markets. This panel represents Samsung’s world-class display technology with its dual displays with maximum 8K resolution support which is currently on show at Gamescom 2023. The Odyssey Neo G9 is the first dual UHD gaming monitor from Samsung that has two 4K curved displays as wide as two 32-inch panels positioned side by side. 

Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57” dual UHD gaming monitor will be available from October in the US with a starting price of $2,500 via Samsung.com. The UK market sale dates aren’t yet confirmed while the pre-orders are already live now but it will go on sale later this year with a £2,199.99 retail price. The Neo G9 monitor is priced at Rs 2,25,000 and is now available for purchase via Samsung’s official website in India.
