DJI finally announced its most anticipated Air 3S drone in the “Chase the View” launch event. The company’s new flying machine is a successor to the Air 3, bringing impressive updates including improved 10-bit video across two cameras, a bigger 1-inch CMOS main sensor, better low-light performance, and much more.

The Chinses tech giant Vivo has introduced its next-generation Vivo X200 series smartphones. Vivo’s entirely camera-focused flagship X200 series smartphone comes with significant upgrades over the last generation models. The Vivo X200 Series consists of three smartphones, with one standard phone and two Pro phones: Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini respectively. 

The Vivo X200 series smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s newly announced flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset. This chipset is based on 3nm architecture paired with CortexX925 super core and 12-core GPU for handling multitasking and gaming-sided things. Vivo packs a huge 6000mAh battery in the Vivo X200 Pro, while the X200 has a 5,800mAh battery cell. Both devices support 90W fast wired and 30W wireless charging.

The Vivo X200 features a triple rear camera array consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. On the other hand, the Pro variant has a 200MP periscope telephoto sensor with Zeiss T* optics. Vivo also added its in-house Vivo V3+ imaging chip into the Pro variant, which is the same as the X100 Ultra. The Sony LYT-818 main camera is paired with a custom f/1.57 lens and a 1/1.28-inch sensor size manufactured on a 22nm process. It’s technically a step down from the 1-inch camera of the Vivo X100 Ultra, but Vivo claims it can rival the bigger sensors in photo as well as video capture. 

The smartphone can effortlessly capture 4K HDR Cinematic portrait video, 4K 120fps cinematic slow-mo, and 4K HDR Dolby Vision up to 60fps. The X200 Pro can also record a full focal range of 4k in a 10-bit log at up to 60fps. On the front, you’ll find a 32MP selfie camera. 

The Vivo X200 boasts a 6.67-inch display, while the X200 Pro comes with a Quad curved 6.78-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, and Dolby-Vision support. 

The Vivo X200 is priced at CNY 4,999 (~$605) for the base variant, and the high-end 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 5,499 ($772). The X200 Pro starts at CNY 5,299 (~$744), while the maxed-out configuration with 16GB+1TB is priced at CNY 6,499 (about $913). This is obviously China pricing. Vivo hasn’t yet revealed global pricing and availability details.
