Audeze is expanding its LCD series with the new LCD-S20, a closed-back planar magnetic headphone priced at $499. It’s the company’s first to incorporate SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology in a planar magnetic design, originally introduced in its flagship CRBN2 electrostatic model, bringing deeper bass and refined spatial accuracy to a broader audience.
Bringing Audeze’s Signature Sound to More Ears
Known for producing high-end headphones trusted by studio professionals, Audeze has built the LCD-S20 with affordability and versatility in mind. Aimed at musicians, producers, and serious listeners looking for acoustic isolation, the LCD-S20 delivers Audeze’s trademark clarity and low distortion at a lower entry point.
SLAM tech, now applied to planar drivers, uses precision-tuned acoustic channels to modulate low-end frequencies while improving linear diaphragm movement. The result is a headphone that offers rich, lifelike bass and an articulate soundstage, qualities not often found in closed-back models at this price point.
Built for Comfort, Designed for Longevity
The LCD-S20 doesn’t just focus on audio fidelity. Comfort and convenience get an upgrade too. The headphone debuts Audeze’s new magnetic earpad attachment system, making pad swaps easy and secure. A single-sided detachable cable can be connected to either earcup, giving users flexibility in their setup. The synthetic leather earpads and head strap are designed for long sessions, whether you’re mixing a track or zoning out with your favorite album.
Under the hood, the headphone uses Audeze’s 90mm planar magnetic drivers, hand-built in Southern California, and features the brand’s patented audio technologies: Fluxor magnet arrays, Fazor waveguides, and Uniforce voice coils. The industrial design borrows from Audeze’s popular Maxwell gaming headset, featuring a rugged spring-steel headband, aluminum yolks, and glass-infused nylon parts. The earcups are finished in a woven cloth for a clean, understated aesthetic.

The development of smartphones has significantly boosted the popularity of gaming, with mobile games playing a central role in this growth. Android, through its Google Play Store, stands out as one of the largest platforms for distributing mobile games, offering millions of titles to players worldwide.
However, to ensure user safety and compliance with legal requirements, Google imposes strict regulations on mobile games. These regulations cover various aspects, including content policies, monetization, data safety, technical standards, regional compliance and more. It also provides insights on mobile poker gaming and gambling, by enforcing strict regulations, and ensuring that only licensed real-money gambling apps operate in permitted regions.
If you enjoy playing Android games, let’s explore these regulations to help you feel comfortable while using your favorite apps.
Content Policies And Age Ratings
Google Play has established comprehensive content policies that game developers must adhere to before their apps can be published. These policies are designed to create a safe gaming environment for users of all ages. Games containing hate speech, excessive violence, or any illegal content are strictly monitored and often rejected. Additionally, developers are prohibited from falsely advertising their game’s features or gameplay mechanics.
Games must undergo a rating process under the International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) system, which assigns appropriate age ratings based on regional standards, such as PEGI (Europe), ESRB (North America), and USK (Germany).
Failure to comply with these policies and regulations can result in warnings, app removals, or permanent bans from the Play Store.
Monetization and In-App Purchases
Monetization is a major factor in mobile gaming, and the Android App Store regulates in-app purchases and transactions to protect consumers from fraudulent practices. Developers are required to use Google’s payment processing system for in-app purchases, except in specific legally exempt cases.
Games offering subscriptions or microtransactions must disclose pricing, renewal terms, and refund policies. Additionally, games that encourage excessive spending through misleading tactics, such as hidden fees and deceptive pricing, are subject to restriction. In-game ads always follow ethical guidelines, ensuring they are appropriate for the game’s target audience.
Gambling, Loot Boxes, and Randomized Rewards
Gaming regulations extend to gambling and loot boxes, which remain controversial topics in mobile gaming. Games involving betting, lotteries, or casino-style gaming must obtain the necessary gambling licenses for each country they operate in. Even if no real money is involved, Google requires clear disclosures and appropriate age ratings for games with gambling-like mechanics.
In certain regions, such as the European Union and South Korea, developers must disclose the odds of winning items from loot boxes or other randomized reward systems. This provides transparency and helps prevent exploitative gambling-like mechanics in mobile games.
Data Privacy And User Protection
With increasing concerns over data privacy, Google enforces strict guidelines on how gaming apps collect, store, and use their data. Developers must state their data collection policies, ensuring transparency regarding what personal data is collected, how it is used, and whether it is shared with third parties.
Players must be informed and provide explicit consent before games collect sensitive data. Some apps may also face limitations on data tracking and targeted ads. Any failure to comply with these privacy regulations can result in app removal, fines, or even legal action.
Technical And Performance Standards
To improve user experience, there are several technical standards that games must meet. First of all, games must function properly across various Android devices and screen sizes while avoiding unnecessary battery drain, crashes, or system shutdowns.
Developers must also ensure their games are free from malware, hacking vulnerabilities, and other security threats. Additionally, games should receive periodic updates to fix bugs, enhance security, and maintain compatibility with new Android versions.
AI, AR/VR, And Emerging Technologies
Gaming technology is evolving, and so are the new regulations for AI-powered games, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) applications.
AI-generated content must not mislead players or create deceptive gaming experiences. Games utilizing AR/VR must include safety warnings, discouraging players from engaging in hazardous real-world actions while playing. Additionally, multiplayer games using AI for chat moderation must follow ethical guidelines, and not infringe on users’ rights.
Enforcement Regulations
Google employs a combination of automated and manual review systems to enforce its policies. There are several ways of how games are monitored:
Pre-publication review: New games undergo an evaluation process before being approved for release.
Ongoing compliance check: Google periodically reviews apps to ensure continued adherence to its policies.
AI-powered detection systems: Advanced algorithms detect malware, fraudulent behavior, and other violations in real time.
Developers are encouraged to comply with these regulations to avoid penalties, which range from temporary removals to permanent bans.
Regional Compliance And Legal Restrictions
Android games must obtain approval from relevant authorities, before being published in certain regions. For instance, in China, foreign games face heavy restrictions and must get approval from Chinese regulatory bodies before release.
GDPR compliance is essential for any game that collects user data from European players. Countries like the UK and the US have different rules regarding real-money gaming, which developers must follow to avoid legal issues. Some regions also ban specific types of game content, such as political themes, violence, or culturally sensitive material.
Consequences Of Non-Compliance
If a game violates Google Play’s regulations, developers face various consequences. For minor violations, Google typically issues warnings or temporarily removes the app until the issue is resolved. Repeated and severe violations can lead to permanent bans from the Play Store.
Google may also suspend a developer’s entire account if they repeatedly break the rules. In extreme cases, legal consequences may arise, especially for violations related to data privacy and gambling regulations.

Cleer Audio has introduced its latest wearable tech aimed at runners, gym-goers, and anyone who prefers their playlists with a side of situational awareness. The new Arc 3 Sport Pro earbuds blend open-ear comfort, biometric tracking, and immersive audio in a sporty, over-ear form factor built to move.
Built to Move, Designed to Monitor
Unlike traditional earbuds that seal off the ear canal, the Arc 3 Sport Pro features an open-ear design that rests just above the ear, letting users hear traffic, conversation, or workout class instructions while still enjoying a full audio experience. A flexible hinge and ergonomic design promise all-day wear without pressure or ear fatigue.
What makes these Cleer Audio buds more than just sporty? Built-in heart rate and SpO2 sensors turn your earbuds into a mini health hub, tracking fitness metrics without requiring a separate device. It pairs with the Cleer+ app to unlock extra features like step counting, sound customization, and battery monitoring.
Smart Case, Smarter Features
The included Smart Charging Case adds 32 hours of battery life to the 8-hour playback time, bringing the total to 40 hours on a full charge. But this isn’t just a glorified battery pack. The case features a touchscreen interface for on-the-go controls and UV-C sterilization to help keep things clean after sweaty sessions.
Other conveniences include Bluetooth 5.4 multi-point connectivity, aptX Voice with noise-reduction mics, and voice/head gesture controls. If you happen to drop an earbud mid-run, the anti-loss detection will make it beep until you track it down. This means less hide-and-seek and more tunes-on-repeat.
High-Tech Audio, Low-Key Presence
Powered by a 16.2mm neodymium driver, the Arc 3 Sport Pro doesn’t skimp on sound quality. Support for Snapdragon Sound, aptX Lossless, LDAC, and Dolby Atmos with head tracking makes these earbuds surprisingly immersive for something that doesn’t actually go in your ears.
The IPX7 rating keeps them safe from sweat and rain, and at under 12 grams per earbud, they’re lightweight enough to forget. That is until the beat drops.
The Arc 3 Sport Pro is available now in Black and Red color options with a MSRP of $259.99. It can be purchased at CleerAudio.com, Amazon, and select U.S. retailers.
Ultenic has launched the Pooleco 10, a cordless robotic pool cleaner designed to take the hassle (and hose) out of pool maintenance. With a lightweight design, smart automation features, and strong suction power, the Pooleco 10 aims to give pool owners a hands-free way to keep their water crystal clear.

90-minute runtime – powered by a 5200mAh rechargeable battery
Auto-parking – docks near pool wall when cleaning is done or battery is low
Floating retrieval ball – easy to lift without hooks or getting wet
2.5L dust box + 180µm filter basket – captures leaves, sand, hair, and fine debris
One-button operation – drop it in and let it clean
Compatible with most pools – in-ground, above-ground, up to 861 sq ft
Lightweight (9.3 kg) – easy to carry and store
Hydrodynamic manta ray-inspired shape – glides smoothly across pool surfaces
Set It and Forget It (Until It’s Clean)
The Pooleco 10 runs for up to 90 minutes on a full 2.5-hour charge, giving it enough stamina for multiple daily cleanings. Once the battery runs low or the cleaning cycle ends, the bot automatically parks near the pool wall for easy retrieval. A floating tether ball is included to simplify lifting the device from the water; no hook required and no wet sleeves in the process.
Maintenance is equally straightforward. Users can pop off the top cover and rinse the filter tray with a garden hose, with no disassembly gymnastics required.
Wide Pool Compatibility
The Pooleco 10 supports pools of up to 861 square feet and less than a 10-degree slope. It’s suitable for a range of materials including vinyl, fiberglass, concrete, tile, and mosaic, and works with both above-ground and in-ground pools. It’s a portable option for multi-pool households, or for neighbors willing to trade pool cleaning for a barbecue invite.
MediaTek has introduced the Dimensity 9400+, the latest chipset in its Dimensity series, designed to power next-generation Android devices with more advanced AI capabilities, improved performance, and longer-lasting power efficiency. The new system-on-chip (SoC) brings fresh muscle to smartphones with an updated architecture built for multitasking, gaming, and on-device intelligence.
Performance Built on Big Cores and Bigger Ambitions
At its core (see what we did there?), the Dimensity 9400+ features an “All Big Core” CPU layout, led by an Arm Cortex-X925 clocked at 3.73GHz, followed by three Cortex-X4 and four Cortex-A720 cores. This layout is designed for faster load times and smoother responsiveness, whether you’re juggling social feeds or training an AI model on your phone (as one does).
The upgraded MediaTek NPU 890 handles large language models (LLMs) directly on the device, supporting formats like Mixture-of-Experts, Multi-Token Prediction, and FP8 inferencing. It even introduces Speculative Decoding+, a feature that MediaTek claims brings a 20% performance bump to so-called agentic AI, meaning smarter, more autonomous AI that’s more assistant, less chatbot.
Gaming That Doesn’t Quit
Mobile gamers get a few perks too. The Dimensity 9400+ integrates a 12-core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU, delivering console-style features like opacity micromap rendering, which adds more realistic lighting and texture effects to things like grass, fur, or hair. Basically we’re talking the fluffier side of mobile gaming.
The new MFRC 2.0+ frame rate converter helps maintain high frame rates without draining the battery. According to MediaTek, it can double effective FPS and cut power usage by up to 40%, which might help you win more matches. If not, at least you’ll be able to play longer before your phone taps out.
Cameras, Connections, and Other Specs
The Imagiq 1090 image signal processor supports HDR video across all zoom levels and smooth transitions between focal points. There’s also a feature called Smooth Zoom, which helps keep both image and audio locked on a moving subject, whether it’s a toddler on a sugar high or a squirrel mid-heist.
On the connectivity side, MediaTek has stretched Bluetooth range up to 10 kilometers between phones. The chip also supports BeiDou satellite positioning, Wi-Fi 7 tri-band, and Dual SIM Dual Active support for users who live the double-data life.
The first phones using the Dimensity 9400+ are expected to launch this month. For more information, check out the official MediaTek Dimensity page.
Thermal cameras are amazing; they offer a view you can’t see with your bare eyes. However, the main problem with most of the thermal cameras is their large and bulky design, but that’s not the case with the Thermal Master P2 camera. Touted as the world’s second smallest thermal camera on the market, the P2 packs a lot of functions into its tiny body.
It’s been two weeks since I started using the P2 thermal camera, and I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations for tasks such as checking electronic components, locating hot water pipes, and capturing the heat of a coffee cup. Here are my detailed thoughts on the Thermal Master P2.
Pros
Ultra-compact and extremely lightweight design
Plug-and-Play use
Good thermal sensitivity (<40mK)
Feature-packed companion app
Solid battery life
Cons
Compatible with only Android devices, no iOS
Slightly gets warm with certain Android devices, such as the iQOO 12
Unboxing
Pricing and Availability
The Thermal Master P2 starts at $200/£200 and is now available for purchase via Thermal Master’s official website and Amazon. The price tag is quite reasonable compared to the other alternatives available in the market. Please note that the device only works with Android smartphones with Android version 6.0 and above.
Design and Build

Thermal cameras are known for their bulky and large form factor, but the Thermal Master’s P2 is built differently. Advertised as the world’s second smallest thermal imaging camera, the P2 boasts an ultra-compact form factor and extremely lightweight design, measuring 27 x 18 x 9.8 mm and weighing around just 9.7 grams.
More specifically, the thermal camera is as compact and lightweight as the five-rupee coin, making it ridiculously portable and small enough to fit into a bag or your jeans pockets easily. Speaking of the build quality, the P2 has an all-aluminum build, which feels quite sturdy and premium in hand. However, there’s no IP rating provided for this tiny camera, which is slightly disappointing. Plus, the company also doesn’t offer any protection against extreme heat sources such as open flames. However, the app warns you if you try it anyway.
Additionally, Thermal Master offers a compact protective case in the box for the tiny camera. The case is made up of hard plastic and feels robust and durable enough to protect it from minor impacts, accidental scratches, and falls. Plus, there’s also a carabiner eyelet, which allows you to attach a case to a tool belt or backpack.
Setup
Setting up the Thermal Master P2 is an easy task. You just have to download the Temp Master companion app, plug the camera into your Android smartphone via the USB-C port, and you are good to go. Please note that if you have a thicker protective case on your smartphone, the camera is unlikely to fit into the port properly. To tackle this issue, the company offers a USB-C extension cable, or you can simply remove the case while using the camera.
Once you connect the camera to your smartphone, the handset recognizes it and the companion app opens automatically, and you can start using it on the go. That’s it, no complicated setup or driver chaos. I really like its simple plug-and-play use mechanism, which is super fast and reliable and even works smoothly.
The P2 boasts impressive capabilities, though it is designed specifically for Android devices running version 6.0 and above. As a result, it does not support iPhones, as iOS is not part of its compatibility range.
Image Quality and Performance
The Thermal Master P2 offers a native IR resolution of 256 x 192 pixels, with super-resolution boosting it to 512 x 384 pixels via the Razor X Algorithm. Considering its compact size, the resolution is quite decent. It can measure temperatures between -14°F and 1,112°F (-10 °C to 600 °C). The camera does capture good thermal images and videos, but lacks fine details, and the obvious reason behind this is a limited resolution
During my two-week testing period, the P2 performed quite well. The thermal camera delivers impressive results, whether it’s obtaining precise temperature readings from a cup of hot tea, detecting a slight heat from an electrical circuit, locating hot water pipes, seeing the heat signature of a recently parked car, or checking faults in electronic components.
Nevertheless, I didn’t notice any type of lag issues during testing. However, the P2’s performance entirely depends on the smartphone you’re using. In my case, I used the iQOO 12 and Xiaomi 14T Pro smartphones, which run on the latest Android versions and have flagship-level processors that offer plenty of power to handle image and data processing. Although I did notice a slight heating issue while using the P2 with my iQOO 12 smartphone, that’s not the case with the Xiaomi 14T Pro.
Since the P2 draws power directly from the device, battery life is a non-issue. When it comes to performance, the camera boasts an impressive operation time of up to seven hours with a standard 5,000 mAh battery smartphone.
Software
The Thermal Master P2 comes with a dedicated Temp Master companion app, which offers a solid set of features. The companion app allows you to choose from 12 different color palettes (including iron-red, white hot, black and white, rainbow, and others) to illustrate temperature differences, and a temperature display represents heat signatures with a temperature accuracy of ±1.5°C. You can switch between them depending on your needs. There’s also a 15x digital zoom feature available, which is very uncommon for its category. This allows you to zoom in and out smoothly for capturing images with details. Honestly speaking, this is more of a gimmick feature.
The P2 also comes with diagnostic tools, including a DIY color bar, which further allows users to manually set a temperature and highlight a target area using a slider. Another impressive feature is the software-based upscaling to 512 x 384 pixels, which makes the images sharper and clearer.
Thermal cameras are quite versatile, and the P2 is no different. It can be used for various applications, from finding overheating electrical components and power cables and diagnosing all sorts of HVAC problems, to pipe inspection and insulation checks.
Should you buy the Thermal Master P2?
You should buy it if…
You want a well-built, reliable smartphone thermal camera
You are looking for an ultra-compact and lightweight thermal camera
You want an affordable thermal imaging camera with a solid set of functions
You shouldn’t buy it if…

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Thermal Master P2 is an impressive gadget that effortlessly transforms any Android smartphone into a high-performing thermal camera. While it has a few minor imperfections, its main limitation lies in its exclusive compatibility with Android devices. Featuring a sleek, durable design and straightforward plug-and-play functionality, the P2 boasts a powerful array of features including adjustable emissivity, 15x zoom, and advanced software-based upscaling. This cost-effective and versatile thermal camera excels at precisely detecting heat leaks, locating hot water pipes, checking electronics, and much more—all at a glance.
I didn’t expect to be this impressed by a laser level, but the HOZO Design M-Cube 02 pulled me in pretty quickly. Whether you’re leveling shelves, tiling a backsplash, or just tired of crooked picture frames taunting you from across the room, this little guy brings a lot to the table. At $149, it’s not just another gadget but more of a tool that feels smart, solid, and genuinely helpful.
What It Is (and Why It’s Different)
The M-Cube 02 is technically an “anti-gravity laser level module,” which sounds futuristic, but in practice, it’s just a very clever piece of gear. You can use it on its own as a high-precision level, with horizontal and vertical bubbles built in, or pair it with the M-Cube Main Unit if you want to unlock digital angle readings and more advanced features. But even by itself, it’s got range.
The M-Cube 02 sticks securely to walls without nails or tape, giving you pro-level precision without the usual hassle. it’s one of the few tools that actually makes alignment feel effortless.
What really sets it apart, though, is the vacuum adsorption tech. You can literally stick this thing to a wall, smooth or slightly textured, and it just holds, no nails or tape needed. It leaves no marks, doesn’t wobble, and somehow manages to feel secure even during longer sessions. I’ve used it on drywall, tile, and even painted wood, and it’s held firm every time.
Built for Real Work, Not Just Looks
The M-Cube 02 has a modular design, which might sound like a buzzword until you realize what it actually does for you. If you’ve ever juggled a laser level and a tape measure at the same time, this one-click connection system makes everything easier. It’s built to minimize user error and streamline setups, especially when paired with the M-Cube system.
Physically, it’s compact, just over four inches square and a couple inches deep, and weighs about a pound. You can toss it in a bag without thinking twice. And battery life? You’re looking at 12 hours of use on a single charge, with a speedy Type-C recharge when it finally runs low.
Precision Where It Matters
The laser system is dual-color, which is a great touch. Red laser gives you tighter precision (±1/16 inch), while the green is a bit looser (±1/8 inch) but much easier to see in bright conditions. The angle accuracy sits at ±0.1°, which might sound small, but it makes a real difference when you’re aligning things like shelving or trim work.
If you’ve already got the MEAZOR app, good news, it integrates with this module, giving you access to digital readouts and configuration options. It’s not essential, but it definitely adds polish to the experience.
Accessories That Actually Help
HOZO bundles in three key accessories: TargetMate, GripMate, and CenterMate. These aren’t gimmicks, they really do improve precision and make setup smoother on a wider range of surfaces. GripMate in particular is handy for slicker materials where the vacuum hold might need backup.
And if you’re planning to grab this in the U.S., Europe, or East Asia, HOZO throws in free shipping on orders over $100, which takes a little of the sting out of the $149 price tag.

Who’s It For?
If you’re the kind of person who’s constantly measuring, aligning, or hanging things, think DIYers, contractors, interior designers, or even serious crafters, this tool’s for you. It’s compact enough for small jobs, but accurate and feature-rich enough for professional use.
Even if you don’t work with this kind of gear every day, the M-Cube 02 is approachable. It doesn’t overwhelm you with tech, but it’s clear it was designed by people who understand the frustration of slightly off measurements and uneven lines.
The Bottom Line
The HOZO Design M-Cube 02 isn’t just “a laser level.” It’s a precise, well-thought-out tool that respects your time and effort. It sticks to things without damaging them, saves you from extra trips up and down the ladder, and adapts to how you like to work. If you’re serious about getting things right the first time, or just want fewer crooked frames in your life, this is a worthy addition to your toolbox.
