Samsung Unveils All-New Sound Tower Lineup at IFA 2025

Samsung has officially launched its latest portable audio innovation at IFA 2025 — the all-new Samsung Sound Tower series, featuring the ST50F and ST40F models. Engineered for indoor and outdoor entertainment, these speakers combine high-quality sound, vibrant lighting, and extended battery life for the ultimate party-ready experience.

“The new Sound Tower sets a new standard in how consumers experience entertainment,” said Hun Lee, Executive VP of Samsung’s Visual Display Business. “It’s a perfect mix of immersive sound and smart design tailored to modern lifestyles.”

At the heart of the new Sound Towers is a redesigned acoustic system that delivers room-filling sound with deep, customizable bass. Samsung’s Waveguide technology enhances audio distribution across dual dome tweeters, creating a wider soundstage with clear treble. Users can personalize their experience using bass modes (Deep, Punchy, Gentle) and four optimized sound settings: Standard, Wide, Stadium, and Outdoor.

Built for long-lasting use, the ST50F offers up to 18 hours of playtime, while the ST40F supports up to 12 hours, both featuring IPX4 water resistance. For more immersive sound, multiple units can be connected via Auracast™ Group Play or paired through True Wireless Stereo for stereo audio.

Adding to the experience is the new Party Lights+ system, which includes five mood presets and six lighting patterns like Wave, Trail, and Flare. Controlled through the updated Samsung Sound Tower App, the lights sync in real-time with the beat for a true audiovisual experience.

With rugged portability, the ST50F includes wheels and a telescopic handle, while the ST40F has an integrated handle. Both models support DJ Booth, Karaoke, and even guitar input for added fun.

Available later this month, the ST50F is priced at $699.99 and the ST40F at $499.99, via Samsung.com and select retailers.
