NexLawn NAVIA 6000 AWD Tackles 1.5-Acre Lawns Without Boundary Wires at CES 2026

NexLawn has introduced the NAVIA 6000 AWD, a premium robotic mower designed to handle extra-large lawns up to 1.5 acres without the hassle of boundary wire installation. The MOVA Group subsidiary is positioning this autonomous mower as a solution for homeowners with challenging, expansive properties who want professional-grade results with minimal intervention.

Wire-Free Navigation Meets All-Terrain Performance

The standout feature of the NAVIA 6000 AWD is its NexNav system, which combines NRTK positioning, AI stereo vision, and 360° LiDAR into a unified navigation platform. This triple-sensor approach delivers centimeter-level accuracy across complex terrain while identifying over 300 obstacle types in real time—no boundary wires or external RTK base stations required.

The mower’s NexDrive 4WD system powers four independent hub motors through an all-terrain wheelset, complemented by air suspension that distributes load across uneven surfaces. This setup enables the NAVIA 6000 AWD to climb 80% slopes (38.6°), roll over 2.4-inch obstacles, and maintain stability on wet or inconsistent ground. Coverage capacity reaches 0.9 acres per day on a 90 to 120-minute charge cycle.

Precision Cutting That Reaches the Edges

NexLawn equipped the mower with a 36V high-voltage cutting system featuring a 15.8-inch, 6-blade dual-plate floating disc module. The configuration provides the power and width needed for efficient large-area coverage while maintaining consistent blade contact across varying grass densities.

The NexTrim precision mechanism sets this mower apart from conventional robotic alternatives. During boundary passes, the dual cutting discs physically extend outward from the chassis, allowing the blades to trim within 1.2 inches of borders, pathways, and walls. Combined with electronic height adjustment ranging from 1.2 to 3.9 inches, the system delivers clean, uniform edges without requiring manual touch-ups—a common pain point with traditional robotic mowers.

Smart Automation for Complex Properties

The NAVIA 6000 AWD includes adaptive mowing modes that can cover entire properties or focus on specific zones requiring extra attention. Its Intelligent Mowing Plan adjusts cutting paths based on grass height and growth patterns, while Intelligent Zone Management tailors behavior to priority areas and seasonal needs.

Safety features include rainfall detection that automatically sends the mower to shelter, animal-friendly sensors that stop blades when movement is detected, and Smart Obstacle Avoidance powered by multi-sensor fusion. These automated systems aim to reduce the supervision typically required with robotic lawn equipment.

Expanded Portfolio and Future Concepts

NexLawn is also showcasing its VIDAR series, including the VIDAR 3200 AWD for lawns under 0.8 acres ($3,299) and the VIDAR 800 for medium to large lawns ($1,399). Both models feature wire-free navigation and the company’s precision cutting technology.

Master X Concept

The company’s Master X Concept represents a more ambitious vision for automated yard maintenance. Built on a rugged 9.8-inch-high AWD chassis, the Master X features a fully retractable robotic arm that extends up to 30 inches and reaches nearly 39.4 inches. With interchangeable end-effectors including multi-grippers, trimmer heads, and edging discs, this concept mower could potentially clear yard clutter, harvest small fruits, remove weeds, and operate tools like watering kettles through coordinated chassis and arm control.

Availability and Pricing

The NexLawn NAVIA 6000 AWD will be available in North America and Europe in spring 2026, priced at $3,999. The Master X Concept is targeted for debut in 2027. More details about NexLawn’s complete product lineup can be found at NexLawn.com.
