Eureka, the long-established name in home cleaning, is bringing fresh energy to IFA 2025 with the launch of its new FloorShine series, headlined by the FloorShine 880 wet and dry vacuum. The company, founded in Detroit in 1909, has built its reputation on practical cleaning solutions, and this latest release carries forward that focus with a blend of power, convenience, and clever engineering.
Power Meets Precision
At the core of the FloorShine 880 is a 24,000 Pa suction system paired with a 450 rpm rotating brush. Together, they target dirt and debris with efficiency while applying 45 N of downward pressure from a water tank located directly above the brush. In practice, that means sticky spills and ground-in messes have less of a fighting chance.
For coverage, the vacuum can lay flat at 180°, slipping under sofas and tables without much fuss. It also includes triple-sided edge cleaning, reaching along walls and furniture edges on the left, right, and front, a thoughtful tweak for those tired of crumbs clinging to baseboards.

Smarter Self-Cleaning
Eureka has placed emphasis on maintenance with a 100 °C heated water self-cleaning cycle, followed by 75 °C hot-air drying. This two-step approach is designed to break down grease, reduce mold risk, and keep odors at bay. A built-in deodorizing module in the wastewater tank further tackles smells addressing one of the more common complaints with older floor washer designs.
Easy Moves
The FloorShine 880 introduces Dual-Direction Self-Propelling technology, giving the vacuum a gentle push forward and pull backward with minimal effort from the user. It’s a subtle upgrade that aims to make longer cleaning sessions feel less like a workout.
Pricing and Availability
The Eureka FloorShine 880 will begin rolling out in Germany, France, Italy, and Spain in Q4 2025, with a suggested retail price of €579. Wider availability details are expected later.
