Will Sprint Nextel Turn Korean ?
Written by Hicham Sabre • Jul 16th, 2008 • Category: Carrier News, Leaks, Rumors, and HacksThere is another recent rumor spreading across the web about Sprint being ripe for a buyout or merger. It’s not so much of a new rumor, more like the revisiting of an older one. Wireless giant SK Telecom from South Korea is apparently in talks to buy the U.S. wireless carrier or perhaps forming a partnership with Sprint Nextel. We reported a similar story back in November 2007.
With 52 milion customers, Sprint is the third larger carrier in the U.S. and they are on the brink of launching an Android handset.
So will we have Android Mobile phone branded with the SK logo or rumors are just rumors?
