HTC Touch Diamond for Sprint Captured on Film

When we say “film”, we mean “very blurry, grainy pictures”. We did our morning browse over to Phone Arena and found 2 ultra-low resolution pictures of the HTC Touch Diamond wearing a Sprint dress. As we reported before, this device is quite a beauty. It might be a few more months, but we can’t wait to get our hands on the US version!
The pictures do show what looks like the TouchFLO 3D interface so we’re excited. Designed to be used with only one hand, this is the handset that HTC announced back in May when the world was expecting to see the Android-based “Dream” phone. Even though we don’t know what that device looks like with 100% conviction, it’s alleged to be the one used to demo Android at the I/O conference last month.
The HTC Touch Diamond still gives us a good idea as to the form factor and design of what might come down the road for Android.

If only the new HTC android would look like this sweet phone but with a slightly bigger screen to rival that of the iphone!
Has anyone seen the Nvidia Apx 2500 tegra….it’s a concept phone but it looks amazing! Does anyone know if nvidia is in the works to put it’s chip into the upcomming android unit?
Nvidia’s tegra is fantastic. However, I guess it will be reserved for WM7 phones. The one’s we’ll be hearing about around the time the 1st Android handset will be released.
Tegra is super-fast, super beautiful, and it solves all Windows CE problems of being slow. The whole idea of Android was having a slick fast UI that could rival iPhone, without the closed environment. Having Android late in the year is pretty much pointless.
By the way, all the videos of Tegra you’ve seen is running on Windows Mobile believe it or not. It is THAT fast.
But again, Nvidia is a member of the OHA. So we may see an Android phone with Tegra, but it most definitely won’t be the HTC Dream. So HTC will be releasing the phone at the time Tegra and WM7 will be all over the news.
I still can’t get over the pre-Christmas release of the Dream.
My dream phone would have been an HTC dream phone that looks kinda like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 (i know HTC is the maker of the xperia), the graphical prowess of the nvidia tegra, with the screen size of an iphone, and of course android UI……all wrapped up and ready to go by this summer! Well it looks like the summer time thing isn’t gonna happen but if the rest of my wishes go through I think i will still be satisfied.
But if phones like the Nvidia Tegra, Sony Ericsson Xperia, and the 3g iphone are all comming out before Google can even get a foot hold then they are gonna lose alot of anxious customers to some long two year agreements with these sweet phones!
If their is a God out there….won’t you please light a fire under Google’s ASS!!!
