T-Mobile Readying for Sprint Bid?

Written by AndroidGuys • Jun 2nd, 2008 • Category: Carrier News, Leaks, Rumors, and Hacks, Top Story

We received some very interesting news today from someone involved in the retail side of T-Mobile USA. According to them, the company has put the kibosh on any unnecessary spending and is spreading the word all the way down through the stores. The managers at the store levels are being told to stop using company cards for lunches and office supplies. Basically, they’re advised to not spend an extra cent for the time being. We even have word that district managers and higher ups have been restricted from similar things.

Is T-Mobile trying to fatten up the wallet before putting in a bid for Sprint? We can’t think of any other reasons for them to watch their money so closely.
